I ordered from here tonight and they brought the wrong food, I asked for a pork curry and they delivered prawn, knowing I'm allergic to prawns, I caĺed them to explain, they were rude, unhelpful and unapologetic, we won't be using again.

Great food, good prices but during peak hours, hard to place your order over the phone, turn up instead but be prepared to have to wait for your order...worth it though

I ordered plain Fu Yung and asked for no peas or onion as my wife cannot swallow them, I also ordered mushroom curry with egg fried rice. Unfortunately this is the second time I have been served by an English girl and both times the Fu Yung appeared to be the House Fu Yung which contains a mixture of all sorts, all of which we cannot eat. I was not aware of the price but on checking I was charged for something I didn't want and couldn't eat. The egg fried rice was the worst rice I have had. All in all this will probably be the last time I use this takeaway.

So glad I ordered my mushroom fu yung WITHOUT onion... by the time I had picked all the onion out it was stone cold, as was everything else....

Second time trying Beijing express, first time was a few years ago so thought we’d try again. Prawn toast was disgusting and tasted like peanut butter?? Chicken balls really hard and the chicken inside looked cheap and formed. The chips were literally raw inside & the kung po chicken tasted like fish? I called them to say about the issues, they argued a bit and I said I’ll bring the food back. Upon returning they let me stand by the til for a few minutes, whilst I was waiting I noticed a sink just beyond the till that was filled with raw chicken in water. One of the cooks who was putting raw spring rolls into the fryer then splashed his hand into this raw chicken water to ‘wash’ it. I couldn’t believe my eyes!! One of them then come to the till, asked if I paid cash or card and dished out my money on the side, pointed at it for me to take and continued to answer the phone with no apology or explanation. AVOID!!!

If you like sub standard food then Beijing Express is the place to go. This is the third time I have ordered food from Beijing Express so I was very disappointed by the quality of the food and the level of customer service. I ordered a chicken curry with rice, salt & chilli spare ribs, salt & chilli chicken and chinese pork chow mein. The curry sauce was bland flavour and congealed almost jelly like. The chicken in the curry was rubbery, chewy and did not resemble chicken meat at all. The pork ribs were dry, tough and overcooked. The chicken pieces in the salt and chilli dish were dry and flavourless. The pork in the chow mein was also dry, tough and overcooked (or re-heated perhaps?). I called the 'complaint service line' (the owner's mobile phone) and was passed to the owner to discuss. After explaining my concerns he immediately became rather aggressive and said that I had ordered from him before and hadn't complained then so couldn't see why the food was an issue this time. He admitted that the chicken is bought in frozen and pre prepared, not fresh and when I said about the pork being dry and overcooked he said that the dish is meant to be dry without any sauce. He clearly didn't want to accept that his food was sub standard and said that if I didn't like the food then go elsewhere and hung up on me. I immediately rung him back and again listed all my issues with the food and based on that, asked for a refund. He got even more short with me, explained that he wouldn't give me a refund and that he was busy then hung up for a second time. Poor quality food, prepared using poor quality ingredients and with little pride over the end product. I will not use again and will not recommend. I will also share my experience with friends and family as much as possible. I've now taken the owner's advice, and use alternative Chinese takeaways.

Wasn't sure which Chinese to choose from since moving here, glad we chose Beijing, all 3 take aways we have had so far have been well priced, pleasant ordering, quick delivery, good portions, tasty food, love the salt & pepper ribs, & its hot on arrival. Thankyou

I had order a delivery of 2 house curries, fried rice, boiled rice, BBQ spare ribs and prawn balls. I'm short 2 curries and wasn't given change. But it's not the driver's fault. But how I was treated by staff was not right. They refused to help. They was rude and they wanted me to pay for another delivery plus more money for the curries. I will not refer others and I will turn away others to do the same. And I would give them no stars if could.

Chicken at least I think it was chicken was awful cheap and sloppy . Chili beef was like rubber and the whole lot was bland .

Best chinese food ever, we ordered and picked it up, you can have it delivered. The food was excellent, hot and they give you plenty. Don't let the building fool you, it's must a take away, no eat in and the certainly know how to cook,friendly and good value for money. Will definitely go back. A must for good food

Great value Chinese take away and delivery. A bit tricky to find the first time, but has become a firm favourite among the local take aways!

Tasty fresh food from a nice clean kitchen. Be aware that between 5pm and 8pm on a Saturday night it is super busy. The phone often gets taken off the hook as it's only a small kitchen and can only cope with a certain amount of orders at a time. If you can be patient and have a bag of crisps to take the edge off it normally dies down just after 8 and normal service returns.

One of the best Chinese set menus we have had in a long time, congratulations to you all brilliant service.

I really wouldn't bother with this one wanted to order for 7 People spent 30 mins trying to get thro on the phone it was either line busy or when it was ringing no one answered...so maybe the rumour i heard that it has closed down was true

Ordered takeaway for 4, a mix of food, quickly prepared and served by a pleasent lady. Sadly all but one dish, king prawn sweet and sour, which was barely acceptable, was really poor. Special and egg fried rice were dry and tasteless, which is surprising as they are a staple. Chicken in oyster sauce was slimy, with no flavour. Reviews appear good, which was the reason for this first visit, but this was possibly the worst Chinese mix of food we have ever had. Two thirds of the food ended up in the waste bin, along with our likelyhood of visiting again!!

Tried to order from 5pm to 7.15pm on Saturday but the phone is kept off the hook. I rang it 152 times. Bloody USELESS That’s another customer they have lost. Thought times were hard?? That’s why they only take Cash DON’T BOTHER!!!!

Great tasting food, not expensive either. In current times you have to wait outside the garage before being called in.

Used to be amazing but gone down hill Used to order once a week with the same order as soon as I changed my order the manager would call me and ask me WHY HAVE YOU CHANGED YOUR ORDER like I can't have what I want when I'm paying!!! Found a dead fly in the BBQ sauce called up sent a pic and he said don't worry I give you free BBQ sauce next time lol hell no how about my money back for that item? The delivery drivers are amazing shame the owner can't learn more about customer service

The food was straightforward to order, delivered two minutes before they said and very tasty. All seven of us enjoyed food, with well packed food trays and plenty left over. Not too salty and good choice of meat and vegetables. Thoroughly recommended. Great value for money.

We live in Terrington St Clement and we still chose to stay with Beijing. They're really lovely people there, and the food is great. They also deliver for free and to Terrington for a small fee.
