great little place for a quick break,just a coffee or lunch you are always made welcome , always a smile when you go in from owner Emma and Chelsea.

We had lunch here on a cycle around the area. Really popular cafe with 30-35 people in on a Friday lunchtime. Friendly staff and great home cooked food. We are doing SlimmingWorld and they had no problem swapping the sausages on their full English for extra mushrooms bacon and chopped tomato’s. Also scrambled the eggs rather than fried. A plentiful plateful. Scampi and chips also good. Food and and two drinks for under £20. Our only disappointment - the Victoria sponge was all taken by the time we finished 🤣🤣🤣 Recommended if you are in the area, it is a stones throw from the A10

Me and my partner just got back from here and have to say we thoroughly enjoyed everything. Friendly service, including the chef. The pizza was the best I’ve eaten ever, full of flavour. My partner had the brisket cheese steak and said that was also fab. Can’t wait to come back!

Visit before it goes! Family’s, couples and I’ll even go on my own it’s that good. Burgers, breakfast, perfect all round! I genuinely love the place and they haven’t paid me a dime to say it! A diamond in the rough. Closing soon, so make the most of it whilst you can, I know I will!

Great home cooked food, service just right and wonderful ambiance. A great little Italian restaurant. Very authentic and charming. Spent a very pleasant afternoon with friends. Vegetarian food enjoyed by omnivores.

We came here for the first time for my birthday, and had three courses. We loved all six dishes - bruschetta and napoletano for starters, lasagna and bucatini puttanesca for mains, and cannoli for afters. There were so many herbs. We also shared a bottle of nero davola. The venue is quite small and, although we had booked, we had to wait a while for the food to arrive. But that was fine. But I would definitely recommend booking.

Central heating is not working, and poor selection of food and drinks

This is a review about eating in the pub, not the hotel, although the outside of the entire building looks run down and very tired. We booked a table overlooking the river, but the room was so cold that we had to move into the public bar. This was a little warmer as it had freestanding heaters in use (although I did think that because of HSE these were heavily frowned upon), we ordered drinks and food (the menu was extremely minimastic and half of it had apparently sold out…so we were very restricted with our options), the waitress was very polite and lovely, the bar staff similar, although they did seem a bit clueless. The starters came, they were pleasant but zero presentation- ban bang chicken came in one of the deep fat drier serving dishes, but no plate underneath and a cocktail stick to eat with. The Brie was nice but had a random lettuce leaf on the plate but no other salad. The mains arrived, I had ordered gammon, it wasn’t the most exciting looking bit of meat ever and it was so salty, to make up for this, the triple cooked fries (straight out the freezer and fried to within an inch of their lives) had been pre-salted to ensure I had my entire decade of salt intake in one go. I have hardly slept tonight and drunk a gallon of water. The knife was somehow bent, the fork tines were too. The bill was £120 for four of us, so not exactly expensive, but not great either. The place needs a serious amount of repair work, the chef needs to go to college and learn about cooking and presentation. The food used to be amazing here, no more, and we won’t be going back. I gave 2 stars because of the waitress (it would have been zero otherwise), she was trying her best, but needs to work elsewhere as she would do well. She deserved five for doing her best in a grim pub. We should have walked when we saw how bad it was outside and only didn’t as we had booked.

Ordered at 8pm. No sign of the food 2 hours later. I tried calling the restaurant and none of the numbers I found worked. Messaged on Facebook as a last ditch attempt and no reply. This isn’t the first time it’s happened either as I’ve ordered previously and it takes over an hour. I ended up having to go through deliveroo to cancel the order and get a refund so I could order elsewhere (deliveroo also couldn’t get hold of the restaurant either). Such a shame as it’s good food but I will not be ordering again, and would seriously warn anyone off ordering delivery from this place.

Had a carvery today which was absolutely delicious. Lovely wood burner, very warm and friendly staff. Lovely new extension. All round a pleasant visit. Will be back

Friendly no-nonsense local Asian takeaway. Food is simple, tasty, inexpensive, consistently nice quality, and I like that they remember my usual (a vegetarian tweak to one of their chicken dishes). They make things pretty fast for collections. Been going there for a few years and they are still one of my favourites.

I moved to Littleport because finding housing in Cambridge was a nightmare. Littleport’s a small town and honestly not great for food, but PT is the real mvp. I have to admit I never tried their pizzas, but their chicken wings are chef’s kiss, absolute perfection. Best fried wings in Littleport, hands down. have moved out now, but am definitely going to miss those wings, 10/10 recommend.
