Celebrated daughter hen afternoon. Food was very tasty and plentiful. The guys made the afternoon go well no stress and so friendly. Would definitely recommend and will be back soon

Incompetent staff. Called my order by mistake then deny they did to customer. Person was ignorant and rude. Will not use again. Very expensive also.

I was so disappointed with this restaurant. When I ordered I was told it would arrive in 30 minutes. I waited 1hr 10mins for the delivery and when it arrived it was stone cold. I called the restaurant who advised to give it back to the driver and they would send another ASAP. She apologised and said she would send some extra bits to compensate. When the second order arrived the only compensation I received was a dip!!! I ordered a lamb Shish and a portion of hummus (only 2 pieces of bread) came for the whole order. It was also warm (not hot) the lady on the phone couldn’t have been less interested. This just isn’t normal service from this restaurant but it has put me off from ordering again

Earlier in year we held my mums 'wake' all staff were caring/helpful/understanding.We could have balloons/photos/films show..the buffet was very good,the rooms gave it a 'softer' feel . for a sad occasion.lowers on the tables. most guests complemented us on our choice/poshness of all ,,, we had been for meals before, & I'm sure would be a good hotel to stay in ….so thankz to all it would have pleased my Mum

Surprised and disappointed by yesterday evening's experience. My wife and I have eaten here on probably half a dozen occasions previously, have enjoyed the experience, and have recommended the restaurant to friends and acquaintances. Yesterday evening however, did not start well, with the disclosure of many non-available menu items, including the preferences of a number of our party of nine. Service was slow during the meal and became slower, ultimately becoming inattentive in the extreme, some of our number drawing the conclusion that we had been forgotten altogether. Added to the menu disappointment and poor service, there were mistakes in the bill. Our party eats out regularly and EGO had been suggested as a venue to be included on our list of good places to eat, but I somehow doubt that there will be many votes in favour of including it now.

Definitely my favourite Indian Restaurant in Chelmsford. Food is great with a good choice of classics and unusual dishes. I had the Shatkora Lamb which was perfect. Great service and free parking.

Really lovely place to stop for a drink and you can take dogs in which is a bonus
