One of the best traditional cafes in the area if not all of North Bedfordshire. Offering a fantastic range of meals & drinks served anytime of the day from the classic Full English Breakfast to a wide selection of sandwiches & filled rolls including tasty pasta dishes and a mouth watering range of cakes, buns, pastries and desserts. But what makes the Caffe Piccolo so special is the friendly and warm welcome you get as soon as you walk through the door. The perfect place to order a cappuccino & something to eat and just sit back & relax... un posto perfetto!

My second time buying from here. Very good chips, generous portions. It was a Friday so very busy but worth the wait and the 20 minute drive from my home. Clean shop. Happy to give 5 stars.

We held our Anniversary party at Woodlands for 86 guests for reception drinks and a sit down dinner and entertainment. Teri from Events was very professional and helpful and confirmed in writing at each stage what we had agreed. Lots of easy parking. Staff were very helpful on check in and many of us checked in early. Our room was clean and spacious. It had been recently refurbished. Good views over the gardens. The whole evening was run like clockwork with plenty of staff. Efficient friendly service. Food was very good. Good breakfast with lots of choice. Thanks Woodlands for a fantastic weekend. Would definitely recommend for an event.

Great local pub sadly a thing of the past due to the UK A Gem in Troubled Waters This pub is an absolute treasure—a place where community spirit thrives, and the atmosphere feels like a warm embrace. The staff are welcoming, the drinks are poured to perfection, and the food reminds you of what traditional pub fare should taste like: hearty, comforting, and made with care. However, it’s hard to ignore the shadow looming over pubs like this across the UK. With the relentless rise in costs and the lack of meaningful support from the government, these small havens are fighting battles they shouldn’t have to face. The ever-growing prices make it harder for both the owners and the patrons to keep these cherished establishments afloat. It’s heartbreaking to think that such vital community hubs could one day be a thing of the past. So, while this pub deserves every ounce of praise, it’s a stark reminder of what we stand to lose if things don’t change. Support your local pub—it’s worth every penny, and then some.

Eat here once a week. Food always good and service friendly.

No he estado en mi local por un tiempo. Menú nuevo, personal nuevo y una noche muy agradable. Recomiendo el menú de £ 17 para tres tapas estilo - súper sabroso y la cocina obviamente se enorgullece de la presentación también. ¡Me alegra volver!

A party of nine of us ate here for my husbands birthday celebration. Young waiter very attentive and we were treated very well all evening. Lovely atmosphere and attractive setting. Nice choice of dishes on menu and I thought prices reasonable for this sort of hotel. My choice was haddock fish cakes for a starter followed by lamb,both of which were delicious. The lamb was particularly tender. My dessert choice was chocolate brownie which went down very well. The wines we chose were really good a Sauvignon Blanc and a couple of bottles of Rioja. My only criticism is that two of our party including the birthday boy chose the sea bass and it was a bit light on accompaniments.Why is it that fish dishes are always so much smaller than meat. Just because you eat fish doesn’t mean that you want a little meal. Apart from that an excellent meal which we all enjoyed,good service and somewhere we will certainly go again.

This was the most revolting stomach churning bad tasting curry house order we've ever had. Burnt pellets of meat, dry burnt and undercooked rice. Stingy with vegetables and quantity and absolutely no flavour. I'm embarrassed for them, honestly...

Pasé NYE en Bellini’s con amigos como lo he hecho a menudo antes - ¿dónde más vas a conseguir una silla asequible - comida junto con música, baile y ambiente hasta el 1 : ¿30 am? (Más vale estar parado en un bar ruidoso y apisonado toda la noche bebiendo algo...) Como siempre la comida era abundante y el personal supremamente acogedor (el propio propietario se veía ocasionalmente en la pista de baile hasta primeras horas! ) El ambiente de fiesta del Bellini es tan bueno que incluso un actor italiano conocido no pudo resistirse a mostrar su cara a la 1 am para una copa nocturna! Este restaurante siempre entrega en NYE!
