Wanted to support the village take away but sadly it seems the owners have given up. The reception area needs a huge upgrade and the food was unfortunately incredibly tasteless greasy and lacking in content not. We wasted money.

Ken is very pleasant and friendly man.the food is great and fantastic l would recommend this to family amd friends.ok the place is run down.but the services and food is lovely...

I go to this chinese weekly, the owner is very friendly and the food they make is honestly the best chinese you can buy! The chinese food is traditional and I’ve been to them all in bedford and this is by far the best! The shop offers collection only which isn’t a problem for us as we know we’re going to get some lovely food, the shop isn’t the most modern and best decorated but don’t let that put you off! Me and my family all have clean plates and full bellies thanks to Mandarin House Chinese tonight😌 They’re open everyday 5pm till 11pm except Tuesday’s! Get calling!

Very dirty shop and I mean VERY DIRTY. The food was absolutely disgusting. The chow mein was pretty much tasteless and the sauce on it looked like some sort of bird spit and I imagine that what bird spit tastes like, vile. The pork in it was at least a few days old and the bbq spare ribs were dry and the sauce was one the worst things I've ever tasted. Hard to describe what it like because I've never tasted anything like. Avoid this place like the plague because you'll probably get it from this place.

We ordered a takeaway from here yesterday. 15.09.2016 I would suggest you steer clear from this takeaway....... The food looked and tasted like it was prepared in the 1970's in line with the run down decor of this establishment.... This is the worst Chinese i have ever had..

AVOID!!!!!!! Never Delivered and Never updated me to say the order had been cancelled. I Pre ordered for a delivery at 20:45, the order was accepted, I got notification that the deliver was enroute at 20:40. At this point I understood my delivery would probably be 20 minutes late, I appreciate this being new years eve. By 21:30 my food hadn't arrived, by this time if it had I thought it would be cold so would. Try to call the restaurant who were avoiding all calls. Eventually get through at 21:49 asking for an update of order. To get 'all orders are cancelled and then they hung up. Not even an apology, I mean on new years eve where else do you get a new order for Indian food. Completely ruined my night!!!!! I would have re ordered from here again as the food is nice, if they would have just declined the order, or called my apologising earlier to say they can't keep to their commitment, that wouldn't have been a problem and I could have re ordered from elsewhere and for them not even to apologise. Please, if you want your food on time or even delivered dont order from here!!!!!!!!!!!

4 Thurlow Street3 different days tried to order food, and the restaurant never accepted took about 30 mins till I was told that they cancelled my order!!!

2A Cleveland StreetFood was contaminated! And also late! To top it off very poor customer service! Korma was hotter then the jalfrezi, I was unaware of this before giving it to my 4 year old child! Poor little lad is in extreme pain. Called to request replacement korma, only to receive it late. Two different people on the phone neither could understand me and nor I them. Poor excuses for food being late twice. NO APOLOGY AT ALL FROM THEM. To finish it all off the replacement korma as the same again far too spicy. Korma is not suppose to be hot it's described on their menu as mild and creamy. IT WAS NOT! contacted JustEat who couldn't be more helpful but, they couldn't return the money as they had the same communication issue with the staff and they couldn't pass their own security verification. JustEat did give me a voucher but the restaurant still no refund, compensation or apology. This place needs looking into majorly by someone with some authority! POOR! POOR! POOR!
