This was the most revolting stomach churning bad tasting curry house order we've ever had. Burnt pellets of meat, dry burnt and undercooked rice. Stingy with vegetables and quantity and absolutely no flavour. I'm embarrassed for them, honestly...

We have used Zeera Tandoori many times and the food and service is always excellent.

Always consistent, we get the same meal order and tastes fantastic

Food is normally lovely, the butter chicken was yummy. But the naan breads were very doughy and undercooked.

Slightly late after an already long wait for delivery although we understand this on a Friday night. The food we actually received was lovely. However certain items were missed off including garlic mushrooms, chana masala and the chicken strips. The korma tasted lovely. Very creamy and delicious. The Bhuna was also nice. We received a different rice but it was also nice. The food was overall nice. Just a shame about the missing items.

Food was really tasty but we paid for a prawn dish which was a good few pounds more expensive than the other dishes and it only had 3 prawns in it! They had made it a mixed meat dish instead. They do have a mixed meat dish on the menu which is cheaper than what we paid for. We also didn't get the free chicken strips for spending over £29. We didn't complain this time as we just wanted to eat our food whilst it was still hot and not have the hassle. We have previously had a problem with a missing starter which we had ordered and they argued a bit before agreeing for us to come back for it. This, along with the prices constantly going up and it being increasingly more hit and miss with getting what you've ordered means we're going to start going elsewhere from now on.

We enjoyed a great takeaway curry from here on a busy Friday night (at the start of the River Festival). Great quality food, cooked beautifully. We especially enjoyed the Butterfly King Prawn starter and the Cheesey Chicken main. We will definitely use again when next in Clapham.

Decided to try Zeera after a ling period of avoiding the place. Unfortunately this was a big mistake and the food was inedible. I ordered the chilli garlic sheek kebabs which came with slices of green chilli, cremated onion that was so burnt it was a black mess and what resembled minced lamb that had fallen apart. It was so disgusting it went in the bin. For the main I ordered a chicken madras and garlic rice. The madras sauce just tasted of onion, again it was inedible and after one mouthful it went into the bin. The rice was soggy and disgusting. Sorry but this place is just awful

Ali organised food for my daughter’s Birthday it’s was excellent. Delivered on time all very hot , ordered for 30 and there was enough for double that . Everyone was very impressed, we will definitely use them again.

Had the vegetable Biryani and lamb tikka with chickpeas disappointed lacked flavour and spice with both still nice enough

We have used Zeera for a big birthday takeaway before and chose them again for my son’s birthday . As before the food was brilliant ; starters were great - a mix of meat and veggie ; all main courses were lovely and we had lots of extras . Delivery was on the dot - Thankyou

Food was delivered Over an hour late, no apology upon delivery and 4 out of the 5 items were cold and had to be reheated. Not the first time I’ve experienced this and I thought I would give it another go. Will not be returning, has gone downhill and is a shame as did use to be very good takeaway.

Foot was an hour and a half late then the order was completely wrong and also with things missing. The food was really bad quality. I will never order from here again.

Rubbery chicken, missing items and long delivery time

Some great range of flavours, although the Tarka Dhal was too watery for me, the Salmon Tikka was amazing! Nice Baltis too. The food came half an hour earlier than expected - not a problem as we were home, but could've caught us out as we were told 55 mins for delivery. Good thing we weren't out! :)

The time on app said 7.30pm, 30mins later than booked. We went for 7.30pm and I got out of restaurant at 8.15pm. Naan breads were burnt. I ordered the mushroom biryani which comes with a vegetable curry. The curry was half full which made my biryani very dry. So all in all very disappointed!

I ordered a takeaway on New Years Eve. Appreciating they would be busy I decided to collect the meal in person instead of waiting additional time for a delivery. I ordered at 18:15 and was told it would be ready at 19:00, I therefore arrived at the takeaway at 18:55 and at 19:00 asked if it was ready, they said no and it would be at least another 45 minutes ! The meal finally arrived at 19:55 with No apology from them for the delay. They were clearly overwhelmed because the food was not good. I have had a few meals from Zeera and they have been okay but this was just very average. The chicken tikka biriyani was awful, the chicken was supposed to be tikka pieces but was just plain chicken. The Chicken Tikka Masala contained half the amount of chicken and sauce you would normally get ! Very disappointing experience from Zeera.

I'm a loyal Zeera customer and I'm recommending them to friends, but something didn't work today. Bhuna had less flavour, my favourite mushrooms were swapped for another dish, and chicken stripes (freebie on orders over certain amount) were replaced by a different starter. I wish I was told about it as I was looking forward to my usual set.

The food was delivered warm, and was very very oily, it tasted nice but wasn’t amazing. The delivery was early but they told us an hour and a half anyway so it still took a long time. I would order again but only to collect.

I ordered a take away for 12 people for my Dads 75th birthday as this restaurant offered his favourite ‘duck jalfrezi’ , we have never ordered from here before. I called the takeaway and put a written list of orders through their door 3 days before. The food was delivered on the dot at 7 pm, it was packaged perfectly , with everyone’s names on the dishes for easy distribution for us all . The poppadoms and relishes and starters were a brilliant start. This was more than a take Away , it was a banquet. Nothing was too much trouble and everyone thoroughly enjoyed their food. We will definitely use them again . Thankyou

Ordered a takeaway for delivery. Told 45 minutes, arrived in 25 minutes. On serving the meal ones of the dishes sauces had split and curdled and was completely inedible. Phoned zeera to explain the issue, only for them to argue with me, then for them to say I had to 10 minutes and the manager will call me as those in the shop don't speak or understand English very well. I said this was unacceptable after the phone being passed to various people they hung up on me. So we then drove to zeera to return the meal for a full refund. Only to be greeted with members of staff asking why and what's wrong. We showed them and explained. One staff member accepted the fact the food was inedible the other 2 however continued to argue the point. They made a phone call to the manager and requested I speak to him, which I declined and requested my money back for the fourth time. We eventually got our money back. Unfortunately zeera seems to have deteriorated, we will definitely not be going back.

The food was alright not amazing but not that bad, however it took so long to get to us, it was pretty bad that we were told that the delivery time was 1 hour and 15 minutes but in the end it was an hour later than that! Making it 2 hours and 15 minutes since we ordered it. Which is not great, I would recommend if you were to pick it up, but don’t get delivery! Hope this helps

After two hours of waiting it never arrived ,we were not contacted regarding delay . When we phoned to find out what was happening we were first told it had already left and was on its way . Telephoned again and they stated they had the wrong house number .Seemed like they were bluffing their case , so cancelled. I will not use again .

Ordered a curry from our local takeaway that we have used for years. This was a family event for my daughters birthday. Not only did they forget her great Nans main meal. Who couldn’t eat much else as it was all to spice for her. When I called to explain this I was basically told I was I liar!! Food was cold, and the amount or Grease poured of our curry’s filled a desert bowl. The popadoms were soft to. Couldn’t break them they just bent. Never been treated so badly in my life. Lost a valued customer tonight!!! Don’t worry zeera I cooked her great Nan some dinner myself!!!

I've been using Zeera for a month or two now as my route home has changed somewhat and I go past their door. The food has been spot on each time, fast preparation and really tasty. (The Chicken Naga is really good, very flavourful, if slightly on the mild side for a Naga spiced dish, maybe somewhere between Vindaloo and Phaal) Spotlessly clean and really nice staff.

Again Zeera didn’t disappoint. Food amazing, certainly our favourite in Bedford for take away, quality of products amazing as always thanks Zeera, we will be back!

I have ordered home delivery from Zeera a few times now, and the service has been fantastic. The food itself is hands down the best Indian I've tasted. Everything is piping hot, and absolutely delicious. They cater to you by asking if you would like mild, medium or hot sauce which is perfect for people like me who prefer my meal not too spicy. I can't compliment the chef enough as the flavour of the dishes we had recently (Chicken Tikka Biryani, Chana Masala, Keema Naan) were exceptional. Already looking forward to my next order.....!
