The best restaurants in Lee Chapel North Basildon East of England

Food was really tasty, probably the best fish and chips I have had for a long time and huge portions. P.S. I had forgotten to add chips into the basket (brain fade after a long day!) and Adam’s were really kind in adding a (generous!) portion of chips into my order for free. Very nice touch and much appreciated!

Kung po chicken should be a hot/spicy dish. it was more like a sweet and sour. not enough meat on the spare ribs seaweed £5!!! crispy chili chicken is not crispy. crazy prices will not be returning.

We have been here once before after hearing about it from family and friends. We had a breakfast each costing £7:50 hot drinks included. The staff are friendly and cheerful and service is quick. Everything was cooked just right. The sausages are a particular of mine. They are very tasty Cumberland sausages and not the usual catering tasteless ones your usually served. We broke up our bus journey just to get off and have breakfast/lunch here. The menu isn't massive but it's enough to keep us, the large amount of tradesmen and the locals happy 😊.

Saturday night and the pub was dead. Sofa was old and ripped,the carpet had seen better days.Beer was OK so was the servise. My first and last visit here.Such a shame as its a lovely old building.There was the smell comeing from the toilet into the bar area. I was very disappointed as been past this pub many many times.

I really enjoyed they kebabs we had a family knight and it was cook to perfection I really recommend the young gentleman customer service was on point

Terrible! Took almost 2hrs to arrive. Food was cold also forgot my drink, I only live around 10min drive from the place, & the poppodoms looked like somthing stripped off wallpaper and tasted disgusting!

Used this place for many years. However last couple of times I've been left wondering why. Poorly presented food. Late deliveries and poor service.
