All the staff were very friendly and welcoming. Nice atmosphere inside the bar area, which has a large screen for watching sports. Good selection of draft beers on tap and two different varieties of peanuts. They have a large hall that can be booked as a venue for a party or clubs like line dancing. I’ve been to this place on many occasions and it’s been superb every time. There is even a regular down there that the locals call Cat Man Who. Highly recommended this sports and social club.

Absolutely delicious food, maybe a bit on the large size as portions go, maybe decrease so less food waste but honestly ignore any bad reviews on this place. Each time I have been wowed. The mackerel fillet is just amazing, could eat 10 of them. From the staff, to the customers and there dogs, everyone was just lovely ❤️ If I lived closer I would eat here much more.

I visited with my mother and my 2 young kids. Kids loved their breakfast baps which seemed to be made with oven bottom muffins which were tasty. I had scrambled eggs on some very hard crunchy sourdough toast with some extra beans and tomato from the add on breakfast menu. My tomato was a quartered salad tomato still fridge cold whereas I would have expected this to be a sliced and cooked / hot tomato. My mum’s poached eggs on sourdough toast was on undercooked toast barely more than bread so wonder if the toaster was turned up when mine was cooked! Didn’t seem to be any salt on the tables just pepper. Cakes were okay but waitress / server didn’t know what one of them was when I asked which I thought was unusual in the current allergy climate. She seemed new and a bit lacking in confidence. Scenery was beautiful and was quite quiet. Think more could be done with the deli but I would visit again.

Breakfast this morning was absolutely delicious. Piping hot and cooked exactly as requested. Beautiful surroundings and staff are just lovely. We stopped for breakfast, but will definitely make a return visit for lunch and tea and cake.

I love the BP but the queuing system is a disaster. They only have one front of house who rushes around albeit with a welcoming smile, clearing/cleaning tables whilst simultaneously trying to seat guests. Impossible task for one person resulting in longer queues even when tables are otherwise empty. With no seating for guests with disabilities while they wait, the extensive timeframes mean it is not disability friendly. I’m sure people would rather find their own table rather than queue out of the door! Come on management - you are better than this and so is the BP!

Whilst I love Cherry Lane garden centre with their friendly staff and good range of plants I won’t be using the cafe again. I went earlier this week with a friend and was happy to sit outside (even though it was a bit chilly) as I’d got my dog with me. It’s nice to find somewhere to eat that has a dog-friendly area. My friend had a chicken & bacon sandwich that came with fries and coleslaw which I think was £9.50 while I had cheesy chips at £4.25. I also asked for a slice of bread & butter to make a chip butty. My friend placed the order and paid, and it was only when we looked at the receipt we realised we’d been charged £3.25 for bread & butter! An entire loaf of bread is only about £1! When the chips arrived they were lukewarm with a minute sprinkle of cheese, and must have been placed under the grill to melt the cheese and been forgotten about as some of the chips were burnt. My friend said her sandwich was OK but nothing memorable.

This little bakery is a diamond . Fantastic cakes bakes and bread with a great location and super friendly staff. Thoroughly recommend this place . Oh , and the best Eccles cake I’ve ever had.
