Absolutely brilliant! Second to none for the service and quality food. Took my family tonight to celebrate our daughter’s birthday. They really went out of their way to make it special for her. Have her a birthday cake with candles and a card at the end of the meal. Cannot recommend enough. It’s the best restaurant around by far! Thank you all.

A fabulous curry house that beats out the others in Towcester thanks to the exceptional service that you'll receive. Ahmed is a warm and friendly host and his waiting staff are attentive and provide top notch service. Dishes of particular note are their flaming sizzling dishes, the sizzling lamb/chicken tikka Khybery and sizzling vegetable paneer kushbu are served at the table with flaming brandy or whisky that add a level of theatre to what are already a delicious dishs. They cater to all dietey needs and going meat or dairy free never feels like a compromise thanks to the generous selection of well thought out vegetarian and vegan dishes.

I’ve just recently moved into Paulesbury decided to try the Dilraj , Prior to ordering I asked the person who took my order whether they use red food dye in the sheek kebab to which he replied, no we don’t.well I’ve never seen so much red Food dye my life it was also in my main meal. The first and last time I will order from here a truly terrible Excuse for good in Bangladesh cuisine which I’ve had the privilege to taste when it’s really good Thanks, but no thanks

Had a fantastic meal last night with my family and once again the food and service were spot on. We visit fairly regularly and are treated like family.The staff are all very friendly and professional. I highly recommend a visit to the Dilraj.

We had a fantastic meal at the Dilraj in Towcester last night! As usual Muhammed and his staff were very kind and friendly, and the service was second to none. I highly recommend the chicken tikka balti. The flavours were amazing and the level of spice was just right. Delicious! 😊 If you find yourself in Towcester and find yourself in a quandary about which curry house to eat in, look no further than the Dilraj👍

As soon as you walked through the door you were greeted with friendly staff, nothing was too much trouble food was great would definitely recommend and come back

From the moment we walked through the door and were met with a warm handshake and genuine hospitality, this was a truly memorable experience. The waiters explained the menu choices clearly, shared a joke, and served us with energy and professionalism, while the chef cooked up fresh and delicious dishes and we enjoyed every one. We went for the banquet which is fabulous value. Do yourself a favour and check this place out.

First time at the Dilraj for a number of year and just as excellent in every way as it always was!

I was amazed by the service of the restaurant. I wasn’t sure what to order as I wasn’t much familiar of the dishes but really thanks to the staff-member of the restaurant who recommended the dishes very politely and mannerly. The food was delicious, authentic and freshly cooked. Staff was friendly and nice. Parking is absolutely free just behind the restaurant. I would love to go there again.

The food is always great at Dil Raj. Fresh and delicious but it's the service that makes this restaurant outstanding! Our lovely waiter Jay and the rest of the team took excellent care of us. The food service and timing is spot on and the staff are funny and so incredibly warm. The banquet night is excellent value too. An absolute gem all-round.

We changed it up and dined in tonight, is definitely something we will be doing more often, they go above and beyond to make sure you have the nicest dining experience and to top it off the food is absolutely delicious. What a treat this was! The food was excellent, tasty and super well presented. The staff were friendly and chatty, their joie de vivre was quite contagious! The restaurant and toilets were clean, I loved the linen tablecloths and serviettes. We will be back!

I had an outstanding experience at Dilraj. The service was exceptional, and the food was absolutely delicious. The delivery driver went above and beyond by bringing our order directly to our hotel room and generously offering an additional discount. I couldn't be more pleased! Yet again another amazing Banquet meal, amazing service at our new local restaurant... so delicious and tasty and.meat cooked to perfection... staff are so friendly and interact with all their customers making sure everyone feels at home.... my only criticism would be that it would nice to have some of their traditional / local music playing in the background... other than that extremely happy and you will see us many times in the future.... from your friends in Potterspury

Wednesday banquet evening was as good as ever. Great value meal with goid fresh ingredients. Staff were very polite & helpful. Waiting times were very good. Beer prices are a little steep though. We had a very enjoyable evening.

Got a takeaway delivery, it took an hour and a half to arrive, the food was cold and not great, the chicken in both curries was very dry. Very disappointed, I won't be ordering from here again.

First, the good things. Thr restaurant is smart and pleasant, though some design of the table layout and new artwork could improve the atmosphere. Service was excellent, attentive and professional. Poppadoms and naans were good. Unfortunately the rest of the food was not of the same standard. All our food was in bright red sauce, including the mixed starter platter,. There was little difference between items and no delicacy of flavours or textures. A strong smell of incense was everywhere. We still had a nice evening, and the staff were particularly to be commended, but I doubt if we'll go back.

The food here is amazing, simple as that. Five of us ate (mates from work) all choosing different mains and naans. Every single one of us said it was in the top 10 Indian meals we’d ever had. The food was delicious and you could taste every individual ingredient. I must also make a point about the dips for the popadoms, I know it’s not the main part of the meal, but they were AMAZING. Tiny little restaurant, with a huge menu and excellent food. Can’t fault it.

Good quality food with lots of choices.

Despite not having booked on a Saturday evening, only had to wait 5 minutes for a table to become available and be seated. All the staff were friendly and helpful, especially when their cash machine failed and we trooped around to Waitrose cash machines. Plenty of choice on the menu and price was reasonable.

Have ordered takeaway and sat In numerous times in the past, all in all it’s great and the food is very good HOWEVER, ordered a takeaway last night via the phone, the communication was poor! Me and partner both had to speak on the phone, the person on the phone was still answering other phones and essentially not taking our order seriously, finally, order placed and they hung up, only to call back and to take the order again - when it came to payment they were having issues to the point that the staff member said “boss man, I’m very busy” - i get that you are busy but if your that busy, don’t take our order, don’t speak to me so rudely on the phone!! Really disappointed as it’s always been a good experience and the food is good. Maybe hire more staff or as said, if too busy that’s fine state that first so we can order from somewhere else. Both me and partner had long days at work ourselves and just wanted a night off from cooking. Really don’t appreciate the tone that was used. Eventually the payment went through because they didn’t take down the right card number…….probably because still on the phone to other customers! When the order arrived, didn’t receive the usual dips we normally get every time also. May consider using The Ganges now in future due to this experience to be honest!

Wow. No words. I have travelled far and wide and have never experienced such exceptional service. A rare mix of being super attentive but also respectful of your space and conversations. The whole staff made us feel like royalty. The food was brilliant. Authentic and delicious. We were expertly guided by the staff who had wonderful recommendations. I am not from Towcester but would travel back for this restaurant. Just exceptional. Cannot recommend enough. Special thanks to everyone who worked there who made it such a wonderful experience

Came here when visiting Silverstone. We opted for the banquet at £15 per person and what a banquet it was! Food was delicious and plentiful. Staff were all very friendly, can't fault at all. Amazing value for money really. Can't recommend enough.

Had a great experience at the dilraj as I’ve been coming for the last 10years Never had a bad one and the staff are always very warm and welcoming.. The new dishes in the menu are so nice I tried the king prawn sherabi and the roasted stuff peppers was so nice .. I always have a delivery but chose to go in this time and wow the food was served so different as to how I get it delivered as the sherabi was flambéed set on fire and the experience was so nice ..will come again Thanks guys

Website states that if you live outside a 5 mile radius there's an additional charge. Had a large group of friends over earlier and was recommended by a neighbour. Wrote down the large order which was totalling above £250.00 worth of food orders. The gentleman on the telephone in a rude tone told us that they don't deliver that far. It was only last month did I sit around my neighbours who had ordered delivery from them. Shocked by their lies and abruptness. Will never use again.

First class!! Exceptional customer service upon entering until leaving. The food was amazing. We got a mixed grill, bhuna chicken, keema naan, plain naan came free and plain boiled rice. Free bottle of beer even though it was a takeaway. I will return again if I'm around this area. Reasonable prices too. A*****

A terrific night out with friends. I picked the restaurant and what a result. Great food and service. All four of us we’re very impressed. My friend didn’t eat much due to recent throat cancer, but it wasn’t because he didn’t like it. The waiter was concerned that he had hardly touched his food and asked if everything was ok. All four of us commented on the brilliant service by all of the staff. These guys certainly know how to make you feel welcome. If anybody needs to train staff how to serve customers, send them here for a meal. Keep up the good work guys. We will be back.

4 of us went for evening dinner. So looking forward to it, but what a disappointment. So noisy including staff shouting orders over clients. Coundnt wait to leave.

What a great dining experience! The minced onion chutney was a special treat. Their dining room is cozy, without feeling cramped, and service was attentive and friendly. Try the mushroom rice!

Called in when I was in the area for work. It was later on a Monday evening so we were the only party (of 2) and they were on the verge of closing up early but that did not take away from the level of service that was offered, it was second-to-none and the staff were super-friendly. Would definitely consider returning if ever in the area again. First class.

Ordered a takeaway. Advised would be 30 minutes. 2 hours later not arrived and despite chasing multiple times finally admitted not yet even cooked. Never arrived.

I've visited the Dilraj a couple of times while working at Silverstone, and it has been excellent every time. Friendly staff, a convivial atmosphere, fairly quick service, and above all excellent food - portion sizes are spot on and the food is superb quality with a big variety of dishes and great flavours at reasonable prices. If you're at Silverstone or indeed anywhere in the area be sure to check it out, you won't be disappointed!

We ordered for collection and the customer service in the restaurant was good whilst we waited. Our order was read back to us before we left the restaurant so we assumed it was all packed correctly. Unfortunately, once we’d driven home and unpacked we found several items missing. We called the restaurant who could only offer to give us the missing items if we collected, meaning the rest of our food would be cold. No other alternative was offered, such a refund, and our names were not taken. The food we did receive was underwhelming, cold naan and watery curry did not make up for the missing items. Will be avoiding in the future.

Really enjoyed my curry here. Visited on a Wednesday when it was set price for 5 courses. Admittedly I was confused over what 5 courses this was (this wasn't explained really well, though I did ask) but I gathered it meant starter, main, side dish, rice and a sundry (eg. naan). Service was brilliant. Really attentive staff. And couldn't fault the food and value for money. I'd have gone for 5 stars if it wasn't for the confusion over the set menu. 🌶️🌶️🌶️🌶️
