The best restaurants in Spalding St Mary's South Holland East Midlands

“Two teas and a pot of hot water please” (not to make it go further, just my wife likes very weak tea). The assistant replied “that’ll be £7.10”!!! I politely responded saying “I am not paying £7.10 for two teas” and walked away. I also noticed that a toasted teacake was £4!! Needless to say we won’t be going back.

A great chippy. Mum & Dad come weekly. Dad loves the fish & Mum the chips, curry sauce & onion rings. Me chips & mushy peas. All are cooked to order. The staff are really nice and helpful.

Last week we visited Greggs for Breakfast. The Food and services was outstanding and great value coupled with superb service from Beth who was absolutely brilliant.

My mate and I travelled up for the day to Spalding for football and decided we wanted a bite before heading home, and we reserved a table at The Crystal Inn. All I can really is everything was superb. The service was prompt and friendly and the food outstanding. We went for one of the set meals that consisted of a selection of starters, followed by duck and then our main dishes. Everything was perfection, the beef in black bean sauce especially so. The bill too was very fair and I can honestly say if I am back in the area in future I know where I will be eating. Highly recommended.

When i visited this very Lovely branch of Costa Coffee, the Customer Service was Excellent. The Atmosphere very Relaxing and laid back. Lovely old pub with amazingly low prices which compare with what we had in 1990's around London. Great beers and even Mild which can rarely be seen anywhere in the south. Wine very limited , Red, White or Rose, spirits all by the brewery but fine under half the price of the south and a lovely atmosphere.

The food is good here, the staff pleasant and helpful. A good place to stop off for lunch or a quick snack. Would recommend to others.

Attended KFC at Applegreen, Spalding on Friday after school, with my Grandchildren aged 9 years and 7 years. We were served by Isobella who, despite being busy, was patient, understanding and kind whilst we slowly scanned our way through the menu, changing our minds every 10 seconds. She was professional, friendly and very helpful and delivered everything we ordered, to our table. As a result we had a great dining experience and would recommend KFC Spalding to anyone.
