I have visited this store for the last time now. Unfortunately this is my closest KFC but I’ll now be travelling further afield. I have submitted complaints after pretty much every visit to this store. Some of the staff are quite rude or ignorant and all appear to be children who know nothing about customer service. The place appears to be in a dead zone for mobile signal so if you want to use your KFC app you’ll need to screenshot your qr code onto your phone otherwise you just end up looking like a plonker going in and out of the store just to get signal. On frequent occasions the self serve tills are the only option as no one seems to have any interest in serving at the counter. Yesterday I couldn’t even get a receipt for my order and I looked at the screen for my order number and couldn’t see it as they hadn’t cleared all of the previous numbers. Yesterdays food was ok although I was missing some fries from a boxed meal which is a pretty great achievement and my burger literally had half of the filling just loose in the box, just looks like it was made by someone that couldn’t be bothered. The last 5 or so visits I have had wrong items or missing orders on at least 3 of them. Thank god that KFC as a company are quite good and if you are dissatisfied or your order is wrong etc if you contact them they do apologise and offer you some ‘KFC cash. I honestly would say this is the worst KFC in the country. I live in Bourne but I’m now prepared to drive double the distance to use one of the KFCs in Peterborough as I always get good service from there.

Worrying experience at this KFC. Bought the food and decided to pay with my card which got declined . My partner’s card got declined as well. The manager told us it was because we did not have money on in our accounts. Lucky we had cash i immediately got a message from Revolut who informed me the payment was declined as the location I was paying at and the restaurant was not the same place if I wanted the payment to go through I need to disable location services . Weird the food was okay but would recommend using cash only at this place .

At first glance, it's evident there's chaos and a group of amateurs who can't handle orders exceeding ten. I placed an order through the app, which included the original recipe rice box, among other items, and collected it via the drive-through. Upon opening the box, I discovered that they hadn't included the chicken fillets, so within 5 minutes, I returned. When I reported it to the staff, a supervisor came, blatantly stating that the chicken pieces were removed. Then, with great reluctance, they brought the correct rice box, without even offering an apology. Next time, I'd rather eat something else and avoid the hassle.

Don’t bother going here unless you expect not to get your food and get shouted at by a rude member of staff. Last time I went there was a 40 min wait told only 1 fryer working. Tonight I went, only 1 table waiting for food and 1 other family having been served. Staff member comes over, staff have walked out I have just been called in and I only have 1 member of staff, clearly not the case I saw 3 males and I could hear a further female in the kitchen. Member of staff offered refund to which the other family took. Family who had been served said to me if it makes a difference our order has been wrong 3 times and has now come out and is not great. I told member of staff I would wait but this was not the first time there were issues at this branch. Not 30 seconds later she returns we can give you “meat”?? We said no we would have a refund and I asked if I could have the complaints telephone number. Was taken to the till and served by a gentleman who had a badge trainee on, he was lovely very apologetic and I explained KFC really needed to understand what was going on. Staff member that had offered refund came out and I said so are you serving drive through her reply was who knows and then went outside. I waited a few minutes and she returned, she flatly ignored me and went round the back to the kitchen area, when she came back, she started sorting food and was instructing one of the members of staff, again I asked can I have the complaints number, she slammed the food down and went round the back to then return again with her back to me saying “I don’t know”, I replied you may not know but I would like the complaints number. She then turned round shouted at me, don’t shout at me you are being rude and I won’t tolerate it, I said I wanted the complaints number to which someone handed her the number through the serving hatch. Please note I had asked 3 times by this time for the telephone number and before her outburst did not have an issue with the member of staff I just wanted to let KFC know they needed to look at what the issues were. I said can I have your name, she told me no I am not giving you my name I asked again and she refused, I asked if she was a manager, she said there’s the manager pointing at something on the orders screen, who knows what that was. I asked another member of staff who came round and she told him not to give it to. I said that’s fine I will be reporting you tomorrow her reply was you do that. Absolutely disgusting service from this member of staff, who clearly thinks it’s Ok to shout at customers. Telephone number given was Spalding Number, so clearly don’t want anyone speaking to KFC Customer Service, no issue though I have there number and will be contacting tomorrow.

Ordered a 14 piece bargain bucket, specifically asked for a mixture of chicken pieces, as previously had a bucket full of drum sticks which my wife hates. Got home with the grandkids and started to serve, and found 11 drum sticks out of 14 pieces. It’s like they did it on purpose. Awfully long wait to be served, staff not invested in customer care or cleaning the place. Avoid like the plague. If it was possible to award 0 stars I would. This place makes Boston KFC look great.

Awful. Tonight I ordered a 3 piece meal, then waited 20 minutes in a queue of just three cars - so yes, over five minutes to serve each customer. When it was my turn, I was told they had run out of cooked chicken, and it would be another 10 minutes "but the manager says she will double your order and give you six pieces." I can't eat six pieces, so as that would have meant a half hour wait in total, I went to Macdonalds instead.

Food is normally nice, last year I tried the chicken donner meat and it was absolutely awful. The smell of the chicken made me gag. So I never had it again, thought I’d try it again to see if it’s any better. And nope it’s still the same, the taste is disgusting. It’s like off chicken, or is it even chicken? Not even fit for my dog!

This fish and chip shop was great after the renovation we were using at least once a week over the period the quality of the food especially the chips started to deteriorate we stopped going to the shop for a while but today decided that takeaway cod and chips for dinner would be good Well when got home l could not believe the food was so poor the chips were basically inedible and l think probably reheated from before the cod’s were very flat batter poor and frankly tasteless at the price of fish and chips these days you have a right to expect better. How this place has deteriorated over time is amazing they should be ashamed to sell food in this condition.

Not been for quite some time, not heard the best reviews of late, but decided to give it a try, food was good, chips were decent, haddock was lovely and fresh. If I had to pick fault with anything, the bread rolls were a bit dry and not alot of butter or spread, but that wouldn't stop me coming again and I would just get my own rolls next time.
