Just returned from a lovely lunch at The Bromley, under new management. Really attentive and friendly staff with good food. Highly recommended if you're looking for tasty vegetarian and vegan options too (now a rarity) - no bought in, ultra processed foods on offer here. The warm and welcoming atmosphere has returned to the pub. We've booked in for our Christmas get togethers already as the Festive menu looks fabulous.

Have visited in the past and been impressed but not this time. Two pleasant young men behind the counter but poor selection of cakes and no scones available. The cakes were mediocre, rather dry and one could not even be called cake, it was sticky and sickly. On the plus side, it is pleasant sitting in the garden.

First time I ordered a takeaway and my order was not accepted and declined as informed by Just Eat. Ordered well before 4pm but took until gone 6pm for them to decline.

Dan was serving behind the bar today and nothing was too much trouble. Really nice chap. Great beers and patio area. Ample car parking

Well run village pub with outstanding service and food. Attractive interior with a good mix of seating for drinks and conversation or restaurant. 4 local beers on hand pump and other keg beers. Food is interesting, well prepared: and freshly cooked. Timely service but not rushed and very reasonably priced for this level of quality.. The staff try very hard to make your stay as good as possible. We have been on three or four occasions over the last few months and everything has been good with a consistent standard. absolutely nothing not to like. It is deservedly popular so you may take a risk if you want food without booking .
