The best restaurants in Woodlands Mansfield East Midlands

This little tea room is very welcoming , myself and my friend went for a catch up and had a cooked breakfast each , it’s not something I have normally because it can usually be a little greasy in certain places or the ingredients is not the best , but this place was absolutely lovely , it wasn’t greasy and it was very tasty and all the ingredients was quantity, I booked again upon leaving because the staff was also lovely and the service was great so it’s a 10/10 for me and I’m hard to please normally , there is a lovely park also you can walk round after leaving the tea room .

We went hoping for a nice chippy takeaway but when we got it home (10 minutes away ) it was a let down , soggy batter, dry and luke warm chips and the fish was past its best, also very expensive

Can’t fault the food, cleanliness and service here. I love local and have been here a few times. Lovely little place for takeout or eating in.

In a high street dominated by chain cafe's and restaurants occasionally you find somewhere special. Luckily for us the usual suspects for a lunchtime coffee were all busy so we gave up and headed home, only to find this gem of a cafe. Small but spotlessly clean and beautifully decorated, serving exceptional quality food and coffee at very reasonable prices. 2 full English breakfasts, we wasn't planning on these but saw another tables order and couldn't resist, 2 Cappuccinos and 2 cans of Coke, £20. The service was top notch by a lovely chap who not only took the orders but cooked the food and made the coffees. Deffo calling again.

My friend and I have kind of made this our go to spot for catch ups and for good reason! The food is so lovely and so are the staff. It's nice and relaxed. The menu has a good selection making it hard for me too choose, but we will always have the cheesey garlic bread to share! Can certainly recommend!

Fries & sauce lovely, sadly the beef burger was extremely overcooked making the burger quite dry, hard and chewy. Was only just warm on arrival. Second time ordering, and not as good as the first time

Our first day ever in Mansfield, and we've already bumped into this amazing place. We are a 2+2 bunch of choosy veggies, but we found plenty of yummy options, with the tapas being my personal favourite (they even have separate vegan and gluten free menus). Nice music and interesting decor with a huge number of paintings and photos on the walls. And the staff was really friendly - a total of four members of staff took the time to bid us farewell as we left. We're only here for a few days but will definitely be coming back.

The food was lovely and the staff were so friendly. Reasonable prices too. Can't wait to return, Thanks for a great dinner!

This is a lovely cafe, great decor, food and gifts. I had followed them for a while on Instagram and finally managed to go. I took my mum and teenage daughter. A warm and friendly greeting from all the ladies there. We had an enjoyable lunch, really fresh and tasty food. Delicious cakes to follow too. I was particularly drawn to the small selection of antiques/pictures and many other gift products which were all lovely and makes this a more interesting cafe to visit for a puruse too. Would very much like to return. Thank you ladies.

For the very first time I came here today. I had a bacon and mushroom cob and it was absolutely magnificent. I cook myself and couldn't have done better. I wish I lived closer. Quality is what you get. Thank you.

Lovely breakfast served nice and hot. Friendly staff and quick service. My only criticism would be the brand of sausage, which weren't the best I've had.

Once again, an absolutely delicious meal was delivered. Hot, tasty, full of flavour. Their tikka masala sauce is the best I’ve had. We had chicken tikka masala and a chicken bhuna for mains and both were full of meat. I’m still yet to visit the restaurant but this is hands down the best Indian takeaway I’ve had. Will order again soon!
