Had a great spam and egg barm and a piece of cheese on toast. On a White bloomer and I must say it was the tastiest cheese on toast I've ever had.

We’d just had a good walk on the Longdendale Trail and we popped in for a couple of drinks while we waited for our train. The drinks were reasonably priced (£14 for 4 drinks) and the service was fast and friendly. She even scared my brother for free! Ha ha. After buying the second round, I gave the landlady a tip for her fantastic service. As a special thanks for our courtesy, she even gave us some free crisps, which made us feel great. We’ll 100% return and recommend to family and friends..

Brilliant little B&B , very friendly staff and comfortable rooms. Breakfast and dinner are ready yummy and great portion sizes.

It's tasty, properly baked pizza. Definitely a cut above your usual doughy, bland tasting takeaway pizza, and I much prefer it to the over-sweetened taste of places such as Domino's. Delivery was quick, and the food was still hot. Garlic bread was great, too!

Unfortunately the food is tasteless lately. Had chicken and cashew nuts and king prawn in oyster sauce no taste in either. Had to add my own sauce.☹

Hi. I was hoping for some local Thai food, but I found out that you had stopped doing food for few months ago. Nevermind, but the beer was good.

Excellent atmosphere each time I go there. Always enjoy the selection of cask ales.

Fabulous country pub with great atmosphere and staff

Still not re-opened, but someone was in the premises last week. So hopefully not too long before a welcome return.

Visited Red Lion yesterday for pub lunch. Was served by staff called- Micheal. Excellent customer service. Pizza was amazing . Lovely sitting at home at the garden.

For the last 3 to 4 months the food has gone downhill. Todays offering costing over £30 was inedible with most of it going into the bin. Dont know whats changed, chef or owner, but we will not be ordering again.
