Went here for a Saturday afternoon snack with friends. Food was excellent - all home cooked and very tasty, staff were super friendly and went above and beyond to make sure we enjoyed our food. Not often I would leave a review for a local pub but the Robin Hood is well worth a visit - will definately return. Thank you for the lovely food and being such nice friendly people

Had Sunday lunch here yesterday. Thank you for a good all round experience. Not been to the Lamley for a long time, and we wanted to go back for so long. The lunch that we had today was delicious, the beef cooked to perfection. Service was excellent, and the staff could not do enough for us for example we asked about the glasses and how muck we loved them the manager went on line to find where we could get them from. The lovely lady who read out the menu like it was a M&S advertisement was so nice to us, nothing was to much trouble, can't fault it at all. Hope to pop round again in the not too distant future.

This is what pubs used to be. Good beer, well kept, and a landlady who has stamped her personality on the pub, and who knows that many people like a drink and maybe a meal in a proper bar with no kids in it. If you think a bar is a suitable environment for your children, this is not the pub for you. If you like a proper country pub with a landlady who gives you a genuine personal welcome rather than a chain pub with a manager and staff trained to greet you following a script, this is the place for you.

My friend and I visit this place about once a fortnight. It has been taken over by new owners/management recently, and the menu has changed - cooked breakfasts are now served until noon (breakfasts weren't served at all before). No main meals now (they used to serve chilli con carne, shepherd's pie, pie and chips, etc). I had a (tiny) jacket potato for £5. A slice of cake is now £4.25 a slice!! The cakes aren't even fresh or baked on the premises. We're going to go to Sprinters instead in future.
