My friend and I visit this place about once a fortnight. It has been taken over by new owners/management recently, and the menu has changed - cooked breakfasts are now served until noon (breakfasts weren't served at all before). No main meals now (they used to serve chilli con carne, shepherd's pie, pie and chips, etc). I had a (tiny) jacket potato for £5. A slice of cake is now £4.25 a slice!! The cakes aren't even fresh or baked on the premises. We're going to go to Sprinters instead in future.

I've been here a few times and always had a lovely meal with minimal wait time... Today was completely the opposite the menu as been down scaled and doesn 't even include chips which I found really odd... Anyway when we went up to order 3 panini's and coffees we were told there was a wait of just under a hour for food.. we were gobsmacked, did we wait definitely not... we took a ride up to Brookfields where we had a lovely meal with minimal wait time... We were absolutely disgusted with how the Dumbles cafe as gone downhill.we couldn't believe in such a short time how the place as fallen, will we be going again definitely not....

Having visited two days ago for toasted tea cakes and drinks, we enjoyed the restful atmosphere, watching the families visiting the farm park, so much, that we ordered more drinks. Today was the opposite experience. No tea cakes available. No biscuits, as they had run out ( but still charge for), coffee arrived with a pool in the saucer. No apology offered and no remedy offered. Managed to mop the slops up our selves, but had to drink from an unsightly cup and saucer. Tea was not hot enough, so was barely brewed. I had to ask for more hot water. Very poor standards on the simplest of products.

Been coming here for years but has recently been taken over by new owners. Waited over 25 minutes for two coffees which were barely warm on arrival. Loyalty card for drinks has stopped and no biscuit with the coffee. New owners take heed or you will start losing customers.

The worst breakfast ever. My wife and i had the same, 2 poached eggs on toast with a rasher of bacon. The eggs were hard the toast was tough and so was the bacon. The pot of tea tasted like sardines and had to leave it. I had been to a Hospital appointment and was looking forward to a nice light breakfast,so disappointing. I wouldn't serve a meal like this,it should have been binned, and recooked as it's not rocket science to produce soft poached eggs. Will not call again.

We visited Flora lands as the sun was out & we thought we would sit outside.Husband ordered two cheese sandwiches with drinks, the drinks arrived & 20 minutes later still no sandwiches,so we waited another 5 mins, nothing.Hubby asks one of the staff members,we could hear them talking & then some one came out to say the chef had left early & they thought he had made the sandwiches, any way they were lovely really tasty. But as we sat eating another couple came outside & their order came out but they didnt get milk for the tea, then another couple came out & their order was not right.I don`t know what is going off there but people wont return if they can not get simple orders right there was plenty of staff on duty.

Nice and friendly cafe. Situated in the garden centre. Really nice coffee and the Cakes are amazing too. You can sit outside when the weather is good on like a wooden decking veranda as well.

We popped in for lunch an opted for the pie and veg. Lady at till was friendly. The main course arrived quite quickly, sadly it rather went downhill from there. My wife’s pie was partially heated , veg was very bland and without taste. Undeterred we decided to give the dessert a chance. It was a rather long time coming. When it arrived it was incorrect , we had ordered lemon sponge and sticky toffee pudding both with custard. We received a chocolate sponge and a lemon one. The ‘custard’ resembled slightly thickened milk , and had an indeterminate taste. All in all it was an experience, but sadly one we are unlikely to repeat.

This is our local for a one stop coffee a teacake. Very nice setting overlooking the garden centre and an ideal first stop before the plants and gardening.

As it was a wet and rainy day myself and my wife thought we would try out the cafe at floralands and how delightful thee experience was. We sat down on thee more comfortable chairs Infront of the fireplace in the centre of the room. We ordered a pot of tea for two and my wife had soup and savory. Soup of the day (cream of broccoli) a garnish salad, ham and cheese croissant and a small pot of crisps. Myself had the ham and cheese omelette. Both was delicious and highly recommended. Although majority of the staff we youngsters. There was a tall but very curtious man who asked us if we needed anything else, provided us with good care and made us feel very welcome. After we finished I asked for a pudding and he gave me extra custard because I said I love it homemade. While I was eating it I looked over and offered to escort a lady with crutches to her car holding an umbrella for her, which I thought was very kind and gentlemanly. We can't wait to visit again.

This is probably the last time we'll visit this cafe as each time our experience gets worse. 2 of us ordered the cream and jam scone which looked delicious. First mouthful and I had to spit it out as the cream was going sour! It was the same for the other scone, so I took them to the counter and told the young woman. Rather than apologise she grudgingly asked us to choose something else. A plain scone with a pot of jam and clotted cream was chosen and a piece of cake. I was told that I would have to pay more for the cake! I refused and reminded her that we had just been sold 2 scones that had gone off. She handed over both items and said the manager wouldn't be happy! I told her to send them over to me, but no one came!

After a long wait, we got our Cheese scone. According to the menu, it should come with salad and crisps also with cream cheese and onion relish. It came with butter. A young waitress was sent to placate us while management kept out of the way. But the coffee was good. This place is now off our list for future visits.

We visited the cafe after a lovely afternoon at the flora lands farm. The staff were very abrupt and one member of staff in particular made us feel very uncomfortable. A family at the table behind us received the same treatment and left quite quickly. My husbands coffee was luke warm he took it back and they must have put it in the microwave, he almost burnt himself. The food is very over priced, I would not recommend a visit!

This place is filthy. Food wasn’t any better either. My daughter opened a menu and a beetle crawled out of it. Looks like mice dropping down the side of the sofas. Staff miserable food overpriced. The tables around us was full of everyone’s finished food for a good 30 mins before anyone collected. Flys flying around your food whilst your eating is just disgusting.

Booked a table for 6 for the Sunday Carvery. Asked an employee where our reserved table was, we were met with rudness and confusion. Eventually, after speaking to someone else, we were pointed to out table. The table was filthy, old food was left all over the seats and the table. The employee wiped the table, still leaving food everywhere! When we challenged the cleanliness, we were again met with redness and confusion from the employee. We had a look over at the carvery and the food did not look nice at all. We walked out! Never going here again.

Fantastic little pub with a good selection of drinks. Frequent rotation of craft beer, generally local breweries as well as the usual Beavertown etc. good choice of spirits also. Be sure to sign up to the Rewards Scheme too. Small selection of food available for very good prices. The nachos is a favourite and frequent selection for me. Pub is dog friendly, so often a couple in there but all well behaved. There is a small outdoor area available also.
