Absolutely stunning food! Had the chicken Caesar salad , which was perfect! Visited two days later and had the gorgeous beef and red wine pie , omg can’t recommend highly enough! This chef is amazing! Great pub garden and spotlessly clean, and I am fussy! Thank you team red lion !

We popped in Saturday lunchtime. The ‘Chef’ Simon was friendly and lovely. I asked for the cider mussels but I’m not that keen on Chorizo. That was no problem. The mussels were great and the sauce was excellent. Simon recommended the cheese pie, which my partner had and he thoroughly enjoyed his meal too. If we are in the area again we will definitely be back. Great pub, great food and a very pretty village. Superb.

Honestly, you wouldn't know it from the roadside but this is the cutest country pub in the most beautiful countryside. The food from the Inspirado guys is exceptional with almost everything made from scratch (even the blue cheese dip with the chicken wings!). All of our party agreed that this was easily the best Sunday Roast we have had - the Roast beef was rare and juicy (can be less rare on request), the yorkshires fluffy, light, crispy with just enough 'stodge' and the gravy was awesome made with the meat juice's and red wine along with perfect jacketed roasties and loads of vegs + cauli cheese (homemade). I wouldnt usually take the time to 'gush' like this but this place is truly a hidden gem and not massively expensive either. Might even make a trip there for Thursday Pie Night for £10!

Fantastic food in a lovely old pub.

Took my brother out for his birthday treat here. The food was top quality, hot and tasty, reasonably easy on the pocket too. Nice atmosphere in the countryside. Friendly helpful staff. Clean restaurant and managed to get a table with a view of the fields even though it was a holiday week. Fantastic treat. Would go again and take someone else too. Thank you

Four of us visited Skypark Farm for brunch on February 6th. We all had coffee following which three had scrambled eggs on toast with bacon and one had a kipper. Although these were standard brunch items they were particularly tasty. Service was prompt. We were served by Sonia who was very friendly and welcoming. The environment is appealing and the cafe comfortable. We stayed for an hour and a half having drunk our second cup of coffee!

Lovely food made by lovely people. Happily eat here everyday if I could. Must try the Vietnamese spring rolls & chicken on skewers with peanut sauce dip. Wow simply delicious! Many thanks to all who work here. Always a pleasure to eat here!

Terrible service. Staff are incredibly abrupt and rude and do not seem to want customers to turn up. I’d recommend some customer service training. The cafe is clean and the food not bad. The coffee is nothing special and there is no natural lighting, but the food could be the best in the world and I wouldn’t recommend it. When I left a review elsewhere I was blocked be cause rather than take on board what people say they block you.

Spent two nights at the hotel and our deal provided us with a meal in the restaurant. Food was enjoyable and staff very friendly. Variety of choice on the menu. Breakfast was excellent with lots of choice. All the cooked breakfast items were hot and the fruit bowl was delicious. Pancakes and pastries also plentiful. The jam option is like a mini mountain. We sat by the window and enjoyed watching the wildlife potter around the lake. The best bit was Vicky who has worked there 17 years. She is a huge asset, so friendly, helpful and welcoming.
