Afternoon tea celebration. Would highly recommend - food was absolutely best afternoon tea we have ever had. Lovely presentation - tasty - served by friendly staff. Will be paying another visit for definite.

Amazing cakes! We had a Mrs Bs breakfast which was delicious and then took a cake away each as we were too full to eat any more. We couldn't leave without taking a cake. Have been a couple of times now and will definately be going back. There is also a fireplace shop on site which has some lovely items, including garden furniture, pizza ovens, patio heating.

Went for afternoon tea with my Mum. Absolutely masses of food, both savoury and sweet. We took loads home. Lovely staff. Will definitely go back and take my daughter

Popped in as we had heard that it was worth a visit. It was hard to find as it’s inside a shop. Very small cafe area which was full. We did not feel welcome as we had “not booked”. Unfriendly staff who really didn’t seem to want the custom. One customer was leaving and offered us his table. Only had coffees so couldn’t comment on the food.

My wife and I and our 2 friends went for afternoon tea at Mrs. Bs coffee shop, the staff are friendly the afternoon tea is exceptional it only cost £18 per person and you get a really good selection, you have to book 48 hours in advance as there are only limited space, but I would recommend a visit if you like a really good afternoon tea, this is not the first time we have been plus if you can't eat it all you get a box to take the rest home, also you can order the same afternoon tea as a carry out.

Amazing homecooked food and plenty of it. Best Quiche I've ever eaten. My husband had the Ploughman's lunch which looked delicious. He said it was the best. Coffee's were very good too. The cakes looked delicious, but I was too full to enjoy one. My friends had cakes which they confirmed were delicious. Yum! Yum!

Great customer service, really nice afternoon tea with lots of selection. Worth every penny. Polite customer service who go above and beyond. Thankyou again

Poor experience, felt rushed and the staff were quite rude and seemed put out when asked a question. On top the owner was casually swearing in front of customers, which included our young daughter. Not a a great look. The food was average at best and the cakes were overpriced and mostly stale and hard, definitely not fresh that day. Could overlook the food as I’m sure on other days it is fresh and tasty, but the staff attitudes ruin it. Won’t be going back when other local businesses have much better customer service at more reasonable prices.

Afternoon tea today was amazing, huge selection and quality was excellent. Box full of goodies to take home. Highly recommend a visit.

Rude and terrible customer service! We had been to Badby forest with my daughter who is 9 months old. Before travelling back home we wanted to stop for coffee and needed to get some hot water for my daughters bottle to feed her. We looked for local coffee shops and found one that was still open (Mrs B’s). However when we arrived we were told they were closing so they would not serve us (even though it was due to close at 3.30pm and it was 3.10pm). When I said could we atleast have some hot water for my babies bottle she said NO we’ve already cleaned the machine…. I said surely it won’t make it dirty just boiling water, we really need it? She said NO were closing. I said we’ve driven here specifically for this but she wasn’t interested…. She said “it says we shut at 3.30pm on the door” and we said “yes but it’s not 3.30pm yet?!”. I was really upset that someone could be so mean - I wouldn’t have cared if it was just a coffee for me but I needed to feed my daughter. I can’t ever imagine saying no to someone who needs to feed their child. Safe to say we will never return, and the older lady who works there needs a lesson in customer service.

Told on arrival (about 3 times) we (6 of us) couldnt look at the menu as we only had the table for an hour and had only booked coffee/cake! took ages for coffees to arrive, friend complained that cookie 'cake' was hard and stale, they argued that it was fresh, spoiled the whole morning, we drank up (in less than an hour) and left, we wont be back

Would visit anytime - lovely fresh food- no matter when you visit. Their cakes are to die for - everything extremely fresh

Absolutely delicious afternoon tea..well presented tasty food ..cakes were fabulous..and the staff were lovely..

Myself and a friend attended for an over due catch up however unfortunately, the staff were rude from the moment we set foot in the building, the staff were not welcoming, and had an all around bad attitude towards serving us as though we were an inconvenience to them. This is such a shame as the food was lovely but due to the poor attitude and service neither of us will be returning again.

Never even got a ‘hello’ as soon asI walked in I was told ‘ you’ve only got an hour cos we’re booked’!! When I sat down my friend said as she arrived early she asked to have a look at the menu (just to be nosey really) and was told ‘no you are only booked in for coffee’ lol not a great start. Then the very young waitress reminded us again that we only had an hour. We really didn’t feel very welcome We won’t be going back. There are no windows or a view and it is at the back of the shop, more of a cafe than a tea room!

Will never have lunch here again, very rude host. If you don’t want to be insulted before spending your money at this Tea Room then don't bother.

Second visit for afternoon tea. Again best and most tasty we have ever had. Food all homemade and very fresh. Staff are great. A real gem in Northants. Thanks.
