McDonald's in Daventry

Slow service and no proper management have no real way of telling who is managing 1 person seems to be doing all the work I suggest this gets looked into from someone higher up as it is appalling

10am on a Saturday 20 orders to be done and had to wait half an hour for it. Waste of time stopping here.

Best Cappuccino ice had this year! First order screen not working, second one has a printer fault. Excellent service by the young chap at the counter. Clean and plenty of seating here. Ketchup dispenser empty, but had sauce from the counter. Overall excellent, unfortunately a few minor issues on me visit.

Food and service were both good. This one is purely functional. No tablets or child friendly aspects. The seating is shared with the other retailers

Motorway service station . Ordered on the screen . No real interaction with staff apart from collecting order

✅Positives : good location, clean, EV charging in carpark, station toilets clean. ❎Negative: Probably shouldn't be advertising its 24 hours and then telling you they're shut at 3am as you try to order on machines (which are on...)

Not a good experience. Paid via app, totally wrong order given. Couldn't be bothered to go nack

Quickish service. Helpful staff. Normal Macs but a little more expensive due to being a service station location.

Service station outlet so prettying basic, good service, the staff replaced our over cooked burger, decent for a snack and coffee whilst charging and EV (8 chargers)

This McDonalds is not open 24 hours. I arrived just before 1am Thursday morning and the staff at the McDonalds says it is closed. This and Northampton services McDonalds are not 24 hours.

Awful place food always only just warm

Simple order no salt, no ice, no sugar in the drink. What I get salt, ice and sweet drink…

Missed something off my order was in the drive through was very busy never checked my order till I got home order took it's time staff looked stressed 😫

Initially the chips came cold but the staff were happy to change for hot ones....

Seating area was fine, kept very nice and a clean and the general service was good but the wrap of the day was a huge disappointment. The lettuce was warmer than the chicken.

It say open 24hrs but they are NOT

Open hours shows 24h all week , isn't true story now . Mon - Thursday 🌙 night time is closed. 24 h only Fri-sunday .

Fries were served without salt, making them horrible. Only realised once I had got in the car and set off on the road. Also had the chilli hamburger which wasn't great and would not recommend.

What's the point of having a 24 hrs service if they don't do food

Food was hot. The restaurant gave me everything I needed. Maybe a smile from the staff would help.

We stopped off here on our way back from a holiday in North Wales. It was quite busy but once we had ordered, we didn't have to wait too long for our food. We don't generally eat in McDonald's, but the southern fried chicken wrap is lovely and a very good price. Also, the vanilla milkshake is really good.

Went for food at this 24hr mcdonalds Watford gap m1 north bound only to be told not 24hr this was at 0335 in morn of Friday not serving food what a jokebif sign saying 24hrs outside

No burger buns and when I asked they had arrived and hour ago but no put out. Then they got my order wrong

It is what it is. I prefer to eat in as it turns to cardboard when you leave the building!

Absolutely gutted I was looking forward to a mc rib finally got the chance I'd rather have the rustlers version and this was 3x the price 😢

No ketchup packets or pump. McDonald's has such a low bar on quality to meet and yet it fell below it. :D

Mess everywhere. Gentleman in dirty high vis jacket serves the food. Another person in the kitchen works with no gloves. He put cheese on burgers with bare, dirty hands. Bleh

Awful! Bought a ‘hot chocolate’ well it was far from any hot chocolate I normally buy. It was watery and tasteless with a peculiar artificial smell. Only thing positive I can say it was warm and wet and I was desperate for a hot drink - everywhere else as shut so Hobson’s choice really. Revolting. I won’t make that mistake again!

Visited around 07.30 on a rainy Saturday morning. Ordered a breakfast roll and wrap, the roll was like rubber and the wrap not much better.

This was in a small service station, the prices were better than the proper bigger service stations, service was quick and seating area was clean

Had a lovely meal and rest here before we drove another 150 mile

Food quality was poor. The service was very poor. It took a long time for the food to arrive and they got 4 of the 6 items wrong. There was no ketchup in the dispenser either

We have renamed this service as Watford crap! Terrible food, stall fries cold burger! Drive a few more miles for the next services.

Made specific requests which weren't followed, and then not received the correct order. They weren't busy at the time but are obviously lacking in staff or training.

Typical McDonald's, the service was excellent. A school tour turned up and it didn't phase the staff one bit, they made it look like clockwork, no delays whatsoever.

Stopped off here on the way home from a London trip. Probably one of the best McDonalds I’ve had in a LONG time, food came piping hot, fresh and well done. Plus fast service, would recommend 😊👍💯🍔🍟

Good service levels. Cold drinks were OK, but the coffee was stronger than at other McDonalds.

It's OK, mostly get McDonald's for my 6 year old granddaughter, she loves it.

There are roadworks on the M1 but we managed to enter the road chef and get to McDonald's. The car park is busy, we have two hours of free parking. The restaurant is inside the building shared with other restaurants and coffee shops. There are toilets on the right and the spaces for tables are big. The tables are very clean and the service is really good.

It was really busy at that time of day, just after school closing hour. Most attention was to drive through customers. Walk-in spend extra 20-30 minutes wait time.

It was the only place open at that hour in the morning. Food was okay. Coffee good.

Hot, fresh food. Ours was cooked to order as it was late and we really enjoyed it!

For a services I thought it would be better with fresh food. Waiting time was too long and needs attention to serving customers.

I would not recommend enriching McDonald's as its not healthy at all

Food arrived quickly. Managed to customise the burger and muffin to cut out some items as necessary, even at the self-service touch screens. We visited two different McDonald's in one day. The first had ketchup but no sugar for my coffee. The second had sugar but no ketchup or brown sauce. The tables were somewhat scruffy and stained but had been cleaned. We charged up the electric car as we ate. Overall, a reasonably good experience.

4 stars as with McDonald's you know what you're getting. I do like their coffee, though.

New layout isn't great and has less seating than before. Ordering points are cramped, could only find 1 rubbish bin and seats not comfortable.

Cold food. Dirty tables and staff who only want you to use the order stations. A big huff and puff if you want to order from counter.

Mc Donald's is McDonald's chips are always cold

A busy Saturday bank holiday weekend, good service but no napkins left, no sauce in dispenser, lady wiping tables just wipes it onto floor. Very busy but let's not forget the basics. Otherwise great food delivered in reasonable time and correct order. Thanks.

Not a good example very unenthusiastic staff food I took home and gave to my dogs they weren't that keen either

Fine excellent for something on the quick

Dirty condiment section. Staff were rude and slow. Took 14 minutes for two soft drinks whilst others were receiving their similar orders sooner. Fast food my arse.

I was hungry at it was there otherwise I wouldn't have gone there

Bins were overflowing, dirty tables. Waited a while for our orders.

Amazing dining experience witb service station panache. We shared a black coffee. So good. We will ne back even though we live 200 miles away
