Subway in Daventry

Very disappointing service, food , and atmosphere, I paid for a meal. very disappointing service. I expected some improvement however they haven’t improved much and wouldn’t recommend buying food there .

From the moment I walked in, I was greeted with warm smiles and a welcoming atmosphere. The staff was incredibly attentive, taking the time to ask about my preferences and offering great suggestions. The sandwich artist who helped me truly went above and beyond. They not only crafted my sub with precision but also made sure every ingredient was fresh and flavorful. I appreciated their enthusiasm for creating the perfect combination, and they even offered a taste of the new sauces, which added a delightful twist to my meal. The store itself was impeccably clean and well-organized, making it easy to navigate the menu. I felt valued as a customer, and the genuine care the team had for their work was evident in every detail. It’s rare to find such dedication and passion in fast food service, and it made my lunch memorable. Overall, my experience at this Subway was outstanding, and I can’t recommend it highly enough. I left not just satisfied but genuinely impressed by the quality of service and food. I’ll definitely be returning!

It’s been a while since I used this branch & I’m somewhat disappointed. Neither of the staff looked like they wanted to be there and weren’t the most approachable. Ordered two 6” subs were from the new menu - the meet & cheese were reasonable amounts but the salad was so stingy, it wasn’t worth adding! I appreciate the order is ‘as per menu’ but I only received two pieces of red pepper and a small amount of red onion. 🤷‍♀️ Such a shame.

I am 100%Sure “Riz4real” person talking about London road subway in petrol station. Because I have been so many times inside the petrol station subway and every time it’s been disgusting Food, taste not fresh and left over from day before also Customer service is very very bad. Waiting more than 25 min to get serve because less staff and they work on petrol station till. Staff never wash their hands when they come from petrol station till or outside. Staff using phone while making sandwiches. Staff on behind counter touching nose, face and other part of the body, No hygiene has maintained at all in that petrol station subway. It is so disgusting to get food from petrol station subway. I DO NOT RECOMMEND TO GO TO PETROL STATION SUBWAY EVER. If you compare to other subway in town it’s always been Very good and excellent service. Staff is very friendly. Food tastes always fresh and very good. Hygiene is well maintained at all the time. I am highly recommending this subway in town.

Asked for a foot long with cheese and onion and literally got a toasted roll.. virtually empty. £6.50 threw straight in the bin. Absolutely shocking.. Will not be returning. Waste of money

Coming from America, where I've never had what I would call a really good sandwich at Subway, I wanted to see if things were different here. We had vegan teriyaki sandwiches with vegan aoli sauce and all the veggies, along with chips (English, not American chips). The sandwiches were excellent; flavorful and fresh. I wonder if it's better here because the British don't allow all of the preservatives America uses so many of? The young lady who took our order recommended the vegan teriyaki when I asked for vegan options, and she wasn't wrong. It was quite tasty. We ordered 12" sandwiches and each had half left over for dinner. All three people working there were friendly and helpful, and didn't seem stressed out like many of the American Subway workers. Altogether a nice surprise; recommended! Could use more seating, but that's limited by being in a small building.

Subway is a subway, you know what you're going to get. But the staff were different; very nice, friendly, and helpful

Ordered a spaghetti meatball extreme my cat got fat after eating it and died.. very ashamed should be a cat option. 1/10

Ordered for collection via the Subway app. Both the app and Google said they were open but they were closed. Have repeatedly asked for a refund and received no reply.

Had a trial shift at this subway but unfortunately I needed more hours then they could give but! the staff are absolutely lovely and friendly you can tell they work well as a team. Keep doing what you're doing guys 👍

Welcoming, polite and friendly Staff, clean and tidy restaurant, fresh looking bread and salad, many options for a sub in 6 inch or footlong, points available with every purchase to build up and get a salad or sub when you have enough points saved up in app and or at the subcard.

Was very busy when I went but the speed and quality of service was still very pleasant

All the experiences I have had at this Subway have been good. I found the staff to be very courteous and really helpful. For example the lady who served me noticing that I had that had ordered a vegetarian sub informed me of changes which meant that I could now order a vegan sub and that spinach had recently been introduced to the choice of fillings.

I will not use subway because they use halal meat

Staff brilliant they are English i love there melted melt it's egg, bacon and sausages with anything you want it's yummy. Reasonable price too

Fast service and staff was very kind

Veg isn't as fresh as the one at the gas station, very small portion of chicken breast and the man had an attitude. Even had to request for a spare serviette. I was given 1 for a foot long baqette. Will not be going there again!

Food cold even after double toasted no coffee due to machine not working charged for alternative drinks which were offered after we ate would not come here again or recommend

Tried to get breakfast here on 3 occasions and it's shut each and every time. Luckily there is another outlet on London Road at the Services and it turns out this one is far better than the one in town and much more friendly to clientele. Won't bother with this one again!

Terrible service got my order mixed with another. Slow too. Supposed to be open sat night till 2:30am but closed before 11

Very slow service. The drinks machines don't work so you can't use the Subway vouchers and have to pay extra for bottles. They wear gloves to handle food but don't change them so keep them on whilst handling money and meat and salad which defeats the object.

Love the food, but the two girls that usually work here are not particularly customer oriented. In other words they can be a bit rude.

Extremely slow service, drinks machine out of order and still trying to charge customers extra to upgrade to a bottled drink instead.
