The best restaurants in England

Absolutely amazed. Beautiful pizza. I'm Italian and it tasted like home. Lovely delivery chap. So polite. I shall definitely be back! Gorgeous well done!

La primera vez en Merchant House, cerca de la calle Fleet, parecía un establecimiento bien abastecido. Asistió a una cata de whisky irlandés / clase magistral organizada por un irlandés llamado David. Éramos un pequeño grupo de 8 para la degustación. Relativamente buenas noches, algunos whiskys interesantes, y aunque aprendí algunas cosas, fue un poco apresurado e impersonal para un grupo tan pequeño.

El mejor desayuno y almuerzo en Streatham! La ensalada es increíble! Me gustaría que fuera abierta por la noche después del trabajo! El personal es increíble y la decoración interior del café es impresionante!

A delightful meal after a session with the guys at Brandon marsh, ate with my son, nephew and sister. Nothing was too much trouble. Attentive staff, fair prices for the lovely food on offer. Sausages particularly to die for. Plentiful portions for children especially. Will definitely be back for sure. Gorgeous view of the birds whilst dining added to the wonderful lunch. Thank you!

I would never of gone in there. It was pouring with rain, rather than get soaked I popped in. What I received was a very warm welcome and a very good breakfast type meal. It was excellent value for money, cooked to perfection. As and when I visit the area, I will pop in again to enjoy good food at a good price.

Was very early for a business meeting and stumbled across this gem. Such a chilled atmosphere, quite possibly the best tea drinking experience i've ever had! So much so I've contacted them directly to find out exactly what I was drinking! Will definitely re-visit next time i'm in Birmingham! Thanks Guys!

Ho my word I booked a table for 8 for my birthday and from the moment we sat down until leaving was amazing. The service was wonderful, the food was amazing and the restaurant was really clean and great music. Also the chef came out to introduce himself and gave us all some chocolate brownie to try truly died and gone to heaven thankyou

With our first visit to Caribbean868 we were in for a real treat. Firstly, we could actually smell the food before we even saw the stall and let me tell you..it smelt soo good!...secondly, we saw the que of people being served, this was a good sign. We were greeted by Chris and his wife Sasha who are so friendly. They saw us waiting and asked if we wanted to sample some curry which we happily agreed to. I can honestly say that this is the best tasting west Indian curry I've had outside of the Caribbean....after a few samples my partner and I chose the Beef curry and Bake and fish. I went back for seconds!!! The taste of this food is absolutely delicious. I could not get enough. Then onto the coconut cakes...wow! my taste buds were going nuts by this point. With all meals made easy to eat, I could of spent hours here. Nothing was too spicy, it was just right. To be sat there in the sun eating Bake and fish takes me back to being on Maracus beach in Trinidad..well almost lol.. Prices were excellent, Chris and Sasha are warm and friendly, and the vibe given off by this place really makes for an enjoyable visit..So if you are in Exeter and would like to try `Authentic` Caribbean food cooked by Trinidadian`s then be sure to visit Guildhall and sample this place. Carole's Creperie was set up as a pop up at a lunch reception I attended. The food was excellent! I am gluten-free and was surprised to find a mix all ready to go. Care was taken not to mix utensils, but I am not coeliac so couldn't comment on that. I had both a savoury and a sweet crepe. I have never tasted authentic Paris-style crepes in London before. Absolutely delicious! I would definitely recommend.

Alleluia someone has filled the gap in the market for good Mexican. Fab-u-lous !! So fresh and tasty and lovely generous portions. If you don’t try this people of Old Windsor / windsor you’re missing out. (We are no way affiliated to CF but loved the idea of decent Mexican and there are none around. Highly recommend!!!

From the moment I parked in Tesco car park, I knew I was on a 2 hour time limit. The valet parking was all busy that night. I tentatively crept up the council lined bus seat interior recycled carpet. I stepped into the reception. I was met by what can only be described as a man that isn’t allergic to to any breed of pedigree. Credit to the bar. I asked for an exotic blend of Mexican blends. What my lips were christened with was orgasmic. A rum and coke. I think that’s what the locals call it. A foam party in the mouth… guess who’s invited.. yup, the tonsils. RSVP yup back wash. I digest, the food. The bar nuts. Handled by the native local. They not venture out or ls22 or the room tbh. Unless you see deez nuts. (Separate menu available on request.. apparently keh$a on special request 48 hour notice.. apparently) The natural aroma of stale washing compliments the dew on the beef wellington like I’ve never experienced before. Truely never experienced anything like, especially as they won’t return my delicates. 10/10

Sunday lunch 6 of us booked for 2:00pm. We arrived early for a pre lunch drink, no problem. It was busy, certainly book for Sunday lunch. We were shown to our table on time, inviting and welcomingly not over complicated menu with nibbles as starters… it’s all you need. We all ordered the roast beef though, half a chicken, Lamb and Pork available. There are veggie options. The beef was perfectly cooked and service exemplary. Plenty of lovely vegetables with a choice of extra side dishes. Good voice of wines, beers and spirits. In my view the best Sunday lunch eaten out this year and there are good ones in Cheltenham. Most enjoyable eating experience.
