Mother’s Day Meal….
Nothing beats a family run authentic restaurant. They offered the mother a glass of bubbly complimentary to start with and overall service and setting was amazing. Food was delicious too.
First time going and won’t be the last!!
Best cafe around. Don’t be fooled by Kye’s cafe being in a builders merchant that you’re going to receive a greasy horrible breakfast. All good ingredients and great service.
We came on a Wednesday evening 6pm. Warm welcome from the hostess.
Antipasto & main meal was delightful but the dessert (cheesecake) was not the best.
Decor was pleasing but as the restaurant filled up so did the volume.
The male waiter was friendly & hard working. The lady waitress’s, whilst being very friendly, spent quite a lot of time talking to each other whilst people were waiting.
This said we will try again as food was great.
Our Landlady recommended it to us when we asked about somewhere to eat Italian.
Small and bijou.Great staff and the food is outstanding and reasonably priced .
A must to visit would go back in a heartbeat.
Just intended to grab a coffee and quick snack before heading off home from Plymouth but could have stayed all day and chilled out watching the world go by from the window.
Friendly, attentive staff and contemporary brunch menu which feels sophisticated.
Good coffee and our food, Chinese style duck on sourdough, with poached egg, from the new menu was superb and the portion size was hearty too.
All in all, excellent.
We booked a table very last minute and the staff were able to get us in. The food was absolutely amazing and very well priced. We had mains, desert a bottle of wine and some additional drinks and the bill only came to £70 which we thought was amazing value for money.
Staff were super kind and attentive to every little detail and were happy to help. The music and ambiance had a really warm feel.
Cannot wait to go again!!
On arrival we thought this looked a nice place for breakfast. We found a table by ourselves we waited then went to the staff. God forbid they actually looked after their customers and asked for a menu for breakfast to be told they have stopped serving breakfast and there will be an hour wait For the switchover of menu I am so pleased that they clearly with only three tables used could afford to turn down our family of five whom would’ve all had food and drinks.
Sadly, we can’t come in on the food or drinks because they were too busy on their phones and talking to each other to worry about the elusive paying Customer
The Weavers received strong recommendations, which often come with inherent risks. However, I must emphasise that my experience with them was consistent with the positive feedback I had heard.
The Weavers is a community pub known for its friendly atmosphere. Recently, I had the opportunity to enjoy their Sunday Lunch, which stands out as one of the best experiences I've had in Wiltshire.
The food at this establishment is presented appealingly, with generous portion sizes. The flavours are outstanding, and the service is exemplary. As a result of this positive experience, there is a strong likelihood of returning; a return visit is planned for today.
This a a lovely little cafe in a beautiful setting with very friendly and helpful staff.
I’ve given it 5 stars as I could see the quality of the meals coming out but I have to be honest and say that my friend and I had sandwiches, one white and one granary. Both of us, sadly, found the bread very dry with pretty much inedible crusts. The contents were really good but were a bit spoilt by the chef using margarine rather than butter. I do wish this didn’t happen as the sandwiches here and in many other places are quite pricey so you would think we could get butter?
Anyway, we would go back but not for the sandwiches
We had a really good evening together celebrating an 80th birthday. all of us want to come back to Old Hall for another experience.
Some ideas that would make the evening even better.... a menu without the prices so that we could identify each of the delicacies..... something to deal with the flies..{a minor irritation}... a method of attracting someone to attend the bar when we needed it. These did not spoil our evening but would have made it even better. Grazing
My partner and I attended the Reggae flava night on Friday because we are big fans of Reggae music and Caribbean cuisine. We had heard great things about the live band that was scheduled to perform, and we were not disappointed. The food was fantastic, and we indulged in various dishes including Jerk Chicken Wings, Jerk Bao Buns, Jerk Spring Rolls, Mac & Cheese Balls, Rice & Peas Tacos, and a curry bowl. It was all delicious.
The music at the event was also top-notch, with a DJ playing reggae classics that we both enjoyed. The live band had everyone up and dancing, and we stayed until the end of the night, enjoying more music from the DJ and a singer. We had such a great time that we plan to attend more events at this bar in the future.
