Kennedys is a great little cafe on Walworth Road. We had a pizza and a panini both of which were very good and very cheap. Decor is nice and it has a lovely atmosphere. Would highly recommend.

Very good local pizza, sandwiches and chicken kebab. Everything is quite cheap and staff has always been friendly. I live nearby and we come often, it's a great local place that has kept it's design an decoration from the 1930's. It's in the heart of Walworth, which is the birthplace of Charles Chaplin and the scientist Michael Faraday. There's cakes as well (we haven't tried) and coffee is good and cheap. We like the Walworth Special pizza and the veggie one as well. You can also bring your own beers.

This is a hidden gem of a cafe next to M&S Wal worth Road ! Everything is freshly prepared and cooked and the price is really reasonable. You can't beat the freshy baked lemon tart or cheese cake. I couldn't believe it when the guy told me they were made not bought. The staff is very friendly and food arrived promptly. My friend and I share a pizza and bought 2 slices of Victoria sandwich and it's fresh cream not aerosol stuff. Very impressed.

Esta tienda pastel antiguo ha mantenido su original interior y baldosas de este lo hace un lugar realmente inusual para parar y tomar una copa y un aperitivo. También tiene libros para leer, prensa gratuita y grabados antiguos encantadores del barrio circundante. Es increíble relación calidad-precio y el café es estupendo.

Buena opcion de pastas para los que les gusta la comida italiana, el lugar es bien barato, perono esta en la mejor zona.

Este es mi lugar favorito local para el almuerzo. Lo que solía ser las antiguas mandaban salchichas y tarta tienda y han mantenido que exactamente lo mismo dentro que es genial, ya que es un icono. La comida es buena (mi favorito es la lasaña) y en los meses de verano sin duda no puedes pasar si hay tartas de fresa en la ventana! Una buena relación calidad-precio y el personal es encantador y no puede hacer más por ti.

This is a great cafe. A selection of pizzas which are always good, nice cakes, paninis too. The decor is good and it is one of the few shops in the Walworth area to retain its historical decor. Well worth a visit.

Hay una cafetería que está situada al lado de Mark y Spencer en Walworth Road. Me encanta parar a tomar una taza de capuchino y un aperitivo . Sus pizzas son geniales, recién horneados en el lugar y a un precio muy razonable. También me gusta su bocadillo paninis con tomate y mozzarella. Buena selección de pasteles.Es un lugar visitado principalmente por la gente : pensionistas, familias, solteros que tienda por Walworth Road East Street Market y a lo largo. Muy concurrido en sábado y tranquila durante los días laborales, fuma narguile en la noche. Hay un espacio al aire libre en la parte de atrás, pero aún no totalmente decorada. Me encanta las baldosas originales de la antigua tienda de carnicero. Orden al mostrador y pagar en el inodoro final.Siga recto en la parte trasera con un piso desnivelado!

Daughter had a excellent pizza, I had a chicken and pesto paninie which came with salad we also had a slice of cake. Had a great coffee, which was better than mcdonalds. Pizza is freshly made and is huge, fantastic flavour. My chicken and pesto was gorgeous, so much filling and hot. All was made fresh. They have a great selection of cakes, treat yourself to a slice of cake and a coffee. Very reasonable prices, wonderful owner and a lovely atmosphere.

My wife and I love visiting this restaurant. The owner/manager is a very kind man.Walworth let's support this restaurant. The food is great and the prices are very reasonable.If you are a meat lover try the Kennedy special.If veggie try the Walworth special.A proper pizza, with lovely coffee and cake. They have just started sandwiches.

The Walworth Road has long been in need of a friendly cafe that serves good food and drink. They have perfectly preserved the old sausage shop decor (Although the irony of a halal shop being in an old sausage chain is not lost on me). The staff are very friendly, the pizza good for the price. On summer days you can sit outside, and hopefully they will develop the garden a bit more. I've become very fond of this cafe and it's now a staple to the area.

The Cafe is in the perfectly preserved old Kennedy's sausage shop, which remains with all its tiling turned into a charming little cafe with a nice cool and quiet garden behind. The coffee is excellent, the very best on the Walworth Road. Try also the homemade cakes, they are incredibly nice! For food, there is a selection of hot sandwiches, pizzas, pasta dishes, an incredible Lasagna and in the afternoons and evenings also lamb and chicken swarma (like a kebab, but way nicer and more civilised) which are incredible. Prices are very low considering the pizza (£5-6), swarma (£5.50), coffee and sandwiches (around £3) are so very good! It is also a great satisfaction that everything is made right there, (even the bread for your swarma!), is simple and very tasty. I wish there were more places like this. Finally but not least, service is very friendly, amiable and quick. I heartily recommend Kennedy's, I go there myself a couple of times a week.

Absolutely great pizza here at an unbelievable price of £5-6. I wouldn't cross town but if in the area and you fancy a pizza at lunch time then this is the place!

This is by far my favourite cafe on Walworth Road. All of the food is freshly made and at a reasonable price. There's definitely an emphasis on simple, honest tasty food here. No bulk catering plastic condiments or everything in sachets and packets, complimented with friendly service. The decor is splendid. Tiled walls and marble fittings along with old prints of local history on the walls. An image of a lost London. Highly recommended.

Kennedy's was once a sausauge shop and left unused for many years. Located on the English Heritage Buildings At Risk List, the shop is now reopened as a sit-down Cafe that makes fantastic pizzas, pasta dish, eye-watering cakes, amazing coffee at extremely affordable prices. We visit the Kennedy's very often and know the owners and chief personally after several visits.
