Both excellent food and service. Their steak night is fabulous, well priced and generous. Drinks aren’t exorbitant either. Dogs allowed throughout which is helpful.

We were staying local and had read the reviews for this pub and it did not disappoint! Good atmosphere, locals all friendly. Staff were fab. We had the lamb faggots which were lovely and the veg was just as good. We had lovely puddings as well. My partner had apple crumble with custard and I had a huge piece of cheesecake! Was great value for money. We had booked as we heard it gets busy but as our night out clashed with a World Cup match it was quite quiet initially! Cannot recommend highly enough!

Wonderful local rural pub in the heart of the village. The food was delightful, great produce and great taste. Good selection of drinks as well. Atmosphere was welcoming and for a small village really busy. Can't wait to return.

This pup was recommended by our Air BnB host, we booked a table for two evenings, a party of four adults. The staff were very friendly and professional all our meals were served promptly and very well proportioned, they were also prepared beautifully. The waitresses made our two eying visits very enjoyable, they are a credit to the pub. We would highly recommend eating there if your in the area.

We live locally and yet have never eaten here up to now. Friendly pub in an idyllic location, there is a nice atmosphere and the staff are welcoming. The menu was quite slim as would be expected from such a small country pub, but we had 3 excellent meals and couldn’t fault the foot at all. Now we’ve tried it, we will definitely return again.

This evening we paid a return visit and enjoyed another lovely meal. After my last recommendation someone enquired if this pub would be serving Christmas lunches - assuming the Covid rules remain the same, the answer is yes for groups of maximum six. Bookings being taken subject to the above provisos.

We enjoyed an excellent meal at The Ring'o'Bells in Priston on 17 September 2020. The front of house staff were charming and very helpful; the menu included a good range of fish and meat dishes. The crushed avocado and smoked salmon was served with a delicious sauce and everything we chose met every expectation. We definitely benefited from the expertise of the chefs. Highly recommended.

Always get a warm and friendly welcome. The menu is on the blackboard and changes daily although there are several popular choices that remain. Always good value for money and freshly prepared by Darren and Alan the proprietors who experienced chefs. The two dishes that stand out for us are the Thai curry and Fish & Chips.. yummy. If it’s on the menu and you enjoy spicey food try the Sai Oua, it’s a northern Thai sausage.

This pub has a lovely local feel. We received a friendly welcome and good service despite there being only one lady behind the bar and a skittles match on. Slow cooked Beef was delicious. Mr B had the Ox liver equally good. We shared some perfectly cooked veg which was a side order. It was a bit chilly at 8pm

We went to buy a trailer and a google search threw up here. It looked good on the web and it didn’t disappoint. The menu is short but excellently prepared and cooked perfectly. The ingredients are local and the rump of lamb was sublime. Ham, egg and chips was a it the eggs runny in the middle and the white set and not greasy. Starter of crispy pork with chilli sauce arrived promptly and was little pockets of piggy delight with a spicy but not too hot sauce. Beers were in perfect order and sourced locally. Another gem of an old fashioned local more than worth the travelling to see. Very dog friendly too.

Visited Bath on a weekend away when the Christmas Markets were on. Enjoyed a fabulous Champagne Afternoon Tea at The Gainsborough Hotel by the fire. Delicious food and a very impressive location. Staff were also very helpful. Overall a very very pleasant experience. Would 100% recommend for anyone visiting Bath.

A small, atmospheric venue with amazing and attentive staff. Have to call up the restaurant for a booking and easy to let them know of any allergie/intolerance/dietary restrictions(quite accommodating as well!). The 7 course surprise menu lived up to the mystery, the bread in a bag with soup is all I want to eat all the time now! (Pictures will be added) We also had an amazing, sweeter orange wine, it went really well with all of the dishes. We had a voucher and only spent £40 on the bottle of wine, but I do believe it is £100 per person.

Straight forward simple food at very reasonable prices and plenty of space to sit and enjoy. Very nice to be able to find a cafe in such a central position in Bath without the usual high st chain paraphernalia.
