I lived in Blackburn for 2 years and loved Sultans. My favorite is the chicken on the bone curry with 2 rottis. Love it miss it. Is Billi boy still working there? I don't think alot of people understand that iys not the aesthetics, it's the food and it's back home banging finger licking tiffin!
Now live near Manchester but every time I visit the area I pop into Stuart's shop in St Andrews.
Top of the agenda are the unbeatable steak pies which are vastly superior to the offerings down South.
I always end up taking several to converts near where I live. They have been enjoyed as far away as the Isle of Man!!
My work colleagues always ask when I'm coming up to Scotland so they can savour the pies that cannot be had down here.
Remember Stuart and his dad from Tayport over 20 years ago.
Definitely the best butcher around with very helpful staff.
i went to this charming little tearoom with my 2 year old daughter...we both had a sandwich which was lovely and the coffee was great...owner was very busy but very welcoming to myself and my daughter, will deffinatly be going back and we are looking forward to it.
Absolutamente me encanta este lugar. Naeem hace jugos increíbles y es tan comunitario. Una visita a Wholesome Juicery es un placer para el cuerpo, la mente y el alma.
Best coffee on our trip through England so far and that includes some pretty big cities including London. We stumbled upon this container and counted ourselves lucky. The owner/barista was very pleasant and chatted briefly about the inception of the place and his expansion. We got 2 cappuccinos and the barista made some fancy artwork in the milk. I also got a piece of pastry from a local baker which was super fresh and to die for. The cappuccino tasted amazing, very rarely, outside of Italy, do you get a cappuccino that’s made with a great tasting bean, not bitter, but strong and a hint of sweet and then the perfect froth on top that’s not too milky or foamy. This one was PERFECT.
Aside from that, I loved the furniture made out of pallets and the tastefully decorated container. I could have happily stayed longer, sipping cappuccinos in the sun there, but unfortunately there was no bathroom on site. As the season picks up, maybe a portable??

Lovely chilled bistro where the focus is very much on the quality of the ingredients and the amazing sourdough bases. The pizza I had (Five) was probably the best one I’ve had outside of Naples. Friendly and efficient waitress.
The only thing that could be improved on would be a better wine list (many of the wines on the board were not available) and on the sides list, the option of a salad alongside the amazing potato dishes would be great.
Came here on the recommendation of others and really glad that we did. Great to see a local place that has genuine passion for what it does.
The ciders were great, we tried a fair few between us (thanks designated driver) from fruity to traditional to the driest thing I've ever tasted - good to try new things.
The pizzas were a real bonus - really tasty and a bit out of the ordinary too.
We did have a bit of an issue with one aspect of service and I contacted the Cider Tap afterwards to try and resolve but never heard back. That did put a bit of a downer on things but overall, excellent drinks and spot-on pizza.
Baja las manos por el mejor café de Westbourne. Personal encantador - gran café SIEMPRE! Opciones de desayuno para llevar también como tazones de batidos y tostadas avo.
VISITED TODAY WITH MY DAUGHTER FOR AFTERNOON TEA. THE FOOD WAS FRESHLY PREPARED AND PRESENTATION WAS PERFECT WITH CAKES TO DIE FOR 😋
HAVE VISITED ROAST FOR SUNDAY LUNCH QUITE OFTEN BUT WILL DEFINITELY BE BACK FOR AFTERNOON TEA.
I ALSO HAVE TO MENTION THE EXCELLENT STAFF, ALWAYS SO FRIENDLY AND CHEERFUL.
THANK A LOT FOR THE ATTENTION AND SERVICE YOU GIVE TO DINERS.
Nothing to fault. Staff were lovely and so was the coffee. Prices are very reasonable. Clothes to browse too. Very clean. Will definitely return if in the area.

Fabulous spot and very welcome coffee . There is food available and next trip down we won't eat before! Used by locals as well ,perfect recommendation.
We took our great grandsons for lunch. They are given a of 5 small choices from the children’s menu, such as carrot sticks, grapes, raisins, bread sticks, boiled eggs, a small sandwich and a cup cake or biscuit, all for £5. Lots of choices on the adult menu, my husband had a meat & potato pie with mushy peas & beetroot. I had a mushroom & cheese omelette (3 eggs), all the food is home made & delicious, all reasonable price. Can I add that all the staff are lovely & friendly.
