The Well Coffee Shop in Bolton

We took our great grandsons for lunch. They are given a of 5 small choices from the children’s menu, such as carrot sticks, grapes, raisins, bread sticks, boiled eggs, a small sandwich and a cup cake or biscuit, all for £5. Lots of choices on the adult menu, my husband had a meat & potato pie with mushy peas & beetroot. I had a mushroom & cheese omelette (3 eggs), all the food is home made & delicious, all reasonable price. Can I add that all the staff are lovely & friendly.

Food is absolutely amazing. I had the cheese and onion pie with mash and vegetables. Had try the manchester tart which brought back happy memories of having pudding at school. The staff always give you a very warm welcome.

We visited today for brunch. I'm under doctors orders to loose weight, so I was delighted to see a slimmers breakfast. Unfortunately, the meal I received, wasn't. Karen, the lady in charge took it away,and brought me a freshly cooked, right meal. It was absolutely delicious, and I very much appreciated her prompt attention. Thank you Karen.

My friend had a breakfast & a potato cake. I had 2 potato cakes & ordered a 3rd. They were scrumptious.

A visit to The Well is a uplifting event. The atmosphere is always welcoming, they have the friendliest staff around. The way the food is presented is always fabulous. And the FOOD - a treat to be sure. The coffee is scrumptious to say the least. There is so much on the menu it is hard to choose AND then you see the specials board, this changes weekly/daily and it is always tempting. It is extraordinarily difficult to save space for desert, but a take home box is available The children's platter is amazing, I have ordered them for outings with younger family members - perfect So next time you fancy a scrumptious meal a visit to The Well is guaranteed to make you smile

Not only as a very welcoming place of sanctuary and as a different environment from home but the Staff are welcoming and warmly and extremely helpful and friendly and made me so at ease despite me suffering with Mental Health issues and illness Carlene is exceptional in her role as a Wellbeing and Benefits Advisor and ran me through the laborious processes of certain forms and helped myself to fill these in with confidence iI felt I'd lost. The staff put me at ease and their professionalism shines through along with their empathy. The Well is a wonderful place to go and I'd recommend it to anyone. Again Carlene is amazing. Came for breakfast, food was lovely and really well priced. Had a source of Victoria sponge to that was absolutely gorgeous. All the staff I spoke to were really friendly too. Will be coming again with my little one to try the lunch

The cafe at The Well is always worth a visit and the friendly greeting is always present. The staff are second to none. The food is delicious and made to order. The coffee is some of the best around Then there's the homemade cakes, OMG they are mouth watering good

Catching up with a friend, we enjoyed a lovely fresh lunch served with a smile ! Sooo many cakes they need a trolley TBH loved it all, highly recommend.

They offer an excellent level of warm and friendly service. Superb food and drinks on offer in a clean and bright eating space.

Had to call here for an appointment in the week I was greeted by a cafe... a COFFEE cafe. While I waited I settled for a latte, best choice I made that day. Staff was lovely, service was excellent, reasonable prices.

Waiting for an appointment in Farnworth but with 30mins to spare. The Well is a 5 min walk from Brackley Street but worth the effort. Fair trade filter coffee made the visit well worthwhile. Free WiFi and great decor - will visit again as we had toasted tea cakes and drinks and paid a fraction of what we would have paid in a branded coffee shop. Loved the motivational plaques too. .
