Waited at counter to place an order staff did not even acknowledge I was there They were busy reheating food and I saw them emptying a jar of sweet and sour sauce into a jug,heating it in microwave and then adding it to chicken before serving it.Whilst I stood patiently waiting to be served ,another woman came up to the till and was served before me.At that point I left and had my dinner in Grouchos up the street.

Great variety of food served at this restaurant. Fresh and great quality. Very reasonably priced and the customer service from the staff is 10/10. They also cater for events. I have placed orders for meetings at my office and all those attending the meetings always ask for details on where the food was ordered from. Delicious and can’t be faulted. Lovely food and great for families. The menu is traditional Irish food, really tasty. Potential for entertainment with music, and can book for large gatherings.

We stayed at Windlestraw for the last night of our summer roadtrip. It was amazing and the food of a level we were not expecting. It was a set menu, everyone gathered for canapes and pre-dinner drinks in the lovely garden room before going through to the elegant dining room. I failed at a task I usually much better at and only took a couple of photos as I was enjoying my meal too much but every course was presented as beautifully as the two I did remember to immortalise.

Having wanted to go here for an age, we finally made it and wasn't disappointed. The small restaurant was a delight, with the owner (I'm guessing) being very knowledgable and attentive and the food was very, very good. Highly recommended.

I have just had a great cheese and mushroom fluffy omelette with chips and garden peas. It was very succulent and tasty. I can highly recommend this cafe. Prices are cheap, and great value for money.

El loft es el mejor lugar para comer. Organizado dos partidos grandes aquí en dos ocasiones y todo el conjunto es impecable y siempre tan complaciente. La comida es increíble, el personal es excelente, el servicio es excelente y el precio es fantástico.

Excellent! Visited Friday night for the first time and the food was great! We had the mixed large tray and a chicken kebab...all delicious! Heaps of good! Freshly cooked in front of me and so much salad was added (as I asked) which I love! Nothing was too much effort. Chicken was very succulent and lamb was so tasty. Great service and excellent food. I will be back! Definitely recommend. 10/10.

This bakery is not what we remembered from pre-pandemic days. The sourdough is flat, and not very tasty any more. No idea what’s happened, but hope the lovely proprietors are all right. We made a special journey to get the best sourdough bread in Lancashire, and were disappointed by what was on sale, so sadly, I’m guessing we won’t be back again.😢

Just WOW, we ordered 20 sandwich platters for our end of year picnic for our preschool. Laura was amazing at making sure that all our sandwiches were absolutely free of any egg or nuts, she went above and beyond with the variety of ingredients. The selection of sandwiches were all so delicious, 100% will be using again. Also 100% positive feedback from our parents and children. Thank you so much Laura and your amazing team.

Lovely little set up here and my coffee was perfect, especially on a cold weekday morning before getting the train. Would definitely recommend to anyone, never mind just coffee tasting lovers. There was also such a lovely vibe with the music playing and warm set up.
