Order from here religiously, owners are absolutely fantastic, food is ALWAYS fresh and hot.
Delivery times are quick!
Eating in has a nice atmosphere! Would recommend this little gem to anyone!
This is a lovely, friendly, welcoming and homely pub. The food is always excellent, well cooked and tasty with generous portions and it's very good value. Highly recommended!
Gower Pizza visitó LITELOK para deleitarse con deliciosas pizzas en la celebración de un hito empresarial. Tom era acogedor y sirvió una fantástica variedad de sabores. Muy recomendable!
Great way to celebrate Burns Night, fantastic food, the students are a credit to the College. Thanks also to Jon and Elaine, so sad to hear that Jon is moving on to pastures new, Good Luck mate.
We come here time and time again. For the meat eaters - don't miss out on the karaage chicken and the pork teriyaki don (on the regular menu). For those that like a bit of everything - I cannot recommend the set meals enough. These change every 2 weeks or so and include bento sides, miso and a main dish - either meat, tofu or fresh fish. All are great! I would also recommend the specials - these include things such as kimchi hotpot and tuna.
The staff are all super friendly and helpful, in relaxed surroundings.
This gelato shop is a real treat! The ice cream is absolutely delicious, and the staff were really friendly and patient while we took a while to decide what flavours to have! A few small tables if you wanted to eat in.
What a great place. We had two toasted tea cakes. And two drinks, best tea cakes we've had for a long time. Very friendly place, service excellent and people very friendly. Will definitely go back when in the area. If you're passing it is worth a stop.
The best place to eat in Elgin. Everything is fresh and delicious, soups, wraps, bagels and daily specials. One word of advice when you do visit, ALWAYS leave room for the cake! ( or get it to take away, you won’t regret it.)
I visited the flowerpot cafe with my wife and children for breakfast last weekend, we had a lovely experience. The breakfasts were lovely, fresh and of a high quality. The staff were very friendly, welcoming and nothing was too much trouble, they also had a great selection of children’s books and activities. I couldn’t recommend more, we will definitely be returning!
So, I decided to give this place a shot, and let me tell you, it was a *wild* ride. After placing my order, I was under the impression that "10-15 minutes" meant just that. But apparently, in this establishment, "10-15 minutes" is a fluid concept—one that doesn’t quite match up with the standard definition of time. Two hours and 40 minutes later, after the chasing calls, my food arrived, and let’s just say I wish I’d been told that sooner so I could’ve eaten a 3 course meal whilst waiting.
The Pilau rice? Nothing special. The onion bhajis were more like the supermarket versions you get. Bombay Potatoes were nothing but turmeric covered potatoes, no flavor. Mushroom rice tasted like someone tried to cook it in a burnt frying pan, and the Royal Chicken Korma... Well, if by "royal," they meant "nothing new," then they nailed it. The Chef Special Chicken Tikka Chilli Masala? That wasn't a masala, that was a *jalfrezi* that had been recycled with sad Mushy vegetables, yet firm, half-cooked chili peppers chucked in at the end.
Oh, and don’t get me started on the papadoms. Imagine biting into a cracker that’s been left out in the sun for days, soaked in what I can only describe as "tainted oil." The birds ended up getting them because, well, even they had better taste.
Now, let's talk about the price. £66 for two people? That’s a lot of money to spend on food that barely qualifies as acceptable. There are so many places that offer much better value, with actual flavor, texture, and perhaps even a semblance of warmth by the time it reaches you.
Safe to say, my money is going elsewhere next time.
Wow! I absolutely loved the hummus, it was divine!
The lamb was so tender and it just melted in your mouth.
The fish was so succulent not dry at all.
The mango yoghurt lolly was just yummy.
But, overall the hosts were so lovely. They were very attentive and explained the dishes. The server/ waitress was excellent too. Love every minute. We will definitely be back.
Mac - you're a legend! Thank you so much for all your help on the lead up to our Christmas Party! Obviously, it helped that I am the queen of organising Christmas parties!!! ;-)
We had 27 people on Friday 6th December for a 3-course dinner and drinks. Nothing was too much trouble for the team, even asking for paper, and a bucket (don't ask!)... only a few grumbles but you can't please everyone. I'd personally say the Lamb Bon Bons were a little on the dry side, and the Chocolate Tart was a little bland, but when you're serving that many people, I understand why it's sometimes not perfect! My Christmas Burger though, was delicious! There was a LONG wait in between main and dessert but for me, I just think it was a nice opportunity to mingle and chat!
There were a few people from downstairs who came to get drinks upstairs - I think maybe a couple maybe got a free drink on our tab, I'm not sure - maybe we should have a password or something else in place in future!
It was great though, thank you all!

It was a warm spring day as we wandered around the town. Good choice of ice creams and we opted for pistachio for me and honeycomb for my husband. Lovely ice cream ad a real treat!
