First time ordering from Ocean City while we're away for the weekend. Fantastic food, we thought our local Chinese was the best but think they have taken top spot! Great flavours, lots of perfectly cooked meat in the dishes and generous portions. We'll definitely be ordering again when we're back.

Even though shop doesn't look to much of anything the chicken doner kebab I've been offered was best I have had for a quite while now! And bread and meat and sauce was spot on and better! Highly recommend it!

We stopped in for a breakfast and were not disappointed. The food was fantastic and for a little cafe, came in such a good time. The highlights? The hash browns were superb, the bacon had great flavour without being salty and the eggs! My oh my, the eggs were so orange! We left with empty plates and full bellies. The staff were also great at recognising that my wife was pregnant and asked about the eggs. The attention to detail goes a long way to getting happy customers, and we were certainly happy customers! Would highly recommend getting a breakfast if you're in the area.
Edit: as we were leaving we had an incredibly lovely chat with the staff. We left with even bigger smiles and a visit we shall remember. Will aim to return in the not too distant future

Great vegan restaurant and done the best hot chocolate. No other place in falkirk thats purely plant based. So gutted its closed down i really hope they are able to open up again.
Very friendly welcome and fantastic service throughout our visit. We were a large group of kids and adults and the staff went out of their way to be friendly and helpful, catering to our fussier members too. Fantastic food and loads of it. The service was incredibly quick too especially given the large number of us. Thoroughly recommend.
We were in the area so researched somewhere with good reviews on Tripadvisor. We were not disappointed.
The food was very good, prompt to arrive, and the staff were friendly and professional.
There was plenty of choice but in the end we settled for a Monster breakfast. The food was well cooked and plentiful!
The only criticism was that the toast had margarine on, not butter. Also the mushrooms were tinned and had an unpleasant taste and texture.
That said I would highly recommend and we will be back!
Despite the on-table menu saying that a bottle of Peroni zero was £4.50, the barmaid insisted that it was now £6.55 - more than the alcohol version. I think this is disgraceful and will not come here again.
The Beacon used to be amazing when it was run by Paul. I haven't been for a couple of years and decided to take some friends there for lunch.
We booked a table the day before, as one of our party has limited mobility. When we arrived, they knew nothing of our booking and ended up pushing two tables together by the door, so we were sat in the draft.
The standard of food has gone downhill immensely, and the available choices are limited. Nothing compared to what it was.
We were a party of five and all our food came at different times, so we weren't eating together. The food took so long that our drinks were cold by the time it arrived.
Lastly, I was SHOCKED at the prices! It cost nearly £80 for lunch for five people - and all we had were sandwiches and a couple of jacket spuds...
This is all such a shame as it used to be excellent!
