Zizzi (Guilford in Guildford

Regretfully, I’m recommending you avoid this restaurant! It’s a beautiful place in the heart of Guildford. But I got food poisoning from here and was sick for a couple of weeks! I did contact the restaurant to inform them of this but never heard anything back. I visit Guildford regularly to meet friends for food and drinks. Because of this experience, I will never be returning.

Love this place. As a Guildfordian , I think they are super cool. Food is amazing and people really nice and welcoming. My favourite place for meetings now.

I just went there for lunch with my sister and wasn’t impressed. Looks like they have a lot of teething problems to resolve after recently opening. To start on a positive note, the interior looks nice and the staff are friendly. Unfortunately the music was way too loud, which added to the background noise and chaos on the first floor. They had no smoothies or pressed juices available to order that were on the menu so we went with Prosecco. I can’t believe they charge the same amount for Prosecco & non alcoholic Prosecco, obviously it should be cheaper if it’s 0 alcohol! The presentation of my meal (Baked Spiced Aubergine) looked nice, however lacked substance and flavour.. I did not enjoy it at all as It was very sloppy and soggy, to add to this, they forgot to add the wild rice to my plate. I had to order some bread to soak the meal up which they charged an extra £5 on our bill for. Lastly, the service was incredibly slow and inconvenient which left me feeling stressed as I had to get back to work afterwards, not a pleasant lunch experience.

When I paid at this restaurant, she charged me for 50% more than my bill. The waitress must have made a mistake!

We have been before for an evening meal which was good so we thought we would give lunch a go, we didn't know if to wait or take a seat staff just ignored us standing by the entrance, we decided to just take a seat, we had to ask if it was table service or do we go to the bar, we were told its easier to go to the bar yet other tables were getting table service! the food was average. Also dogs in restaurants is ok but please ask customers to control them and keep them on the floor not on the seats and dribbling on the tables! it was a very wet day the dogs were very wet, really not nice, put us off we decided to leave and probably wont be returning for lunch any time soon, a real shame!

We stopped by for cocktails, the decor is lovely and the cocktails were so good. Service is slow and we did have to keep trying to get someone's attention, plenty of staff around. It is really nice in so hopefully they can sort out the slow service.

Shame there is no option for “zero”. I had a really disappointing experience at Coppa Restaurant and Bar. After waiting far too long for our drinks, I asked the waiter about the delay. His response? He shrugged his shoulders.. saying “we are busy” with no regards to our long waiting time ..which came off as rude and dismissive. Hoping to resolve the issue, I spoke to the manager, but instead of addressing the problem, he brushed it off, claiming it was a ‘language barrier.’ This felt like an excuse rather than an attempt to make things right. Overall, I expected much better service and left feeling very disappointed.

I like this place. Good range of eating places or just coffee and cake. Great atmosphere and decor.

Went for a pre-wedding lunch with my fiancé. Part of the order was wrong, but our waitress kindly offered a discount for the inconvenience. When the bill arrived with only a £1.50 deduction, we politely queried this with the next waiter. He became rude, raised his voice, and implied we were being cheap, dishonest, and unreasonable. Eventually, the manager applied the correct discount, but the damage by this point was done. An otherwise pleasant meal was spoiled by poor customer service and unprofessional behaviour.

First time at the Coppa club and a mixed experience. The food was pretty good with decent portion sizes at a reasonable price. I went for the skillet breakfast for an early lunch option and it was tasty, cooked well and the black pudding was great! Our experience was let down by the slow service, the food arrived quite quick but everything seemed to take a long time. From receiving the drinks, to sauces and more water. It didn’t seem that busy with lots of empty tables so maybe they were short staffed or just forgetful. Would try again as the food was worth it.

Disappointing Experience At first glance, this place appeared charming and inviting. However, our experience quickly soured due to the poor service. The staff was not only unprofessional but also seemed indifferent and lazy. Dirty tables were left unattended, and even when they eventually cleared the dishes, they didn’t bother to clean the tables properly. We were forced to use the QR code to order and pay because the staff repeatedly ignored us. Although the food itself was tasty, the portions were disappointingly small given the high prices. A restaurant should be more than just a pretty setting. It’s about delivering excellent service, creating a welcoming atmosphere, and genuinely caring about your customers. Unfortunately, this place falls short in all these aspects. I wouldn’t recommend it.

Really nice food, drinks and service. Would highly recommend for a special treat. Would suit a date or birthday etc. Reasonable costs considering the high quality.

My husband and I came here for dinner before a show. The food was amazing. The layout of the restaurant was really nicely done and had a great vibe. We would definitely come back either for dinner or just drinks as it's a really nice classy venue.

We had an excellent experience at this establishment. Decor is lovely. We celebrated a birthday with a large group, orders were taken and brought quickly, the staff were very warm. The restaurant area is dog friendly and the waitress even brought a bowl of water for the dog we had. We were surprised by a free dessert for the birthday girl with a candle and a song. They go above and beyond.

Andrei was our server and he was absolutely fantastic! Very funny but also made sure to take all allergies seriously. We loved the Coppa Club and hope to see Andrei again very soon! Thank you so much

I always really enjoy coming to this Coppa Club - the staff are very friendly & helpful, the food choice is great & it's the perfect spot if you have a baby or small child with the facilities downstairs.

Popped in for breakfast. After our drinks arrived we asked to order food and were told our sever would be right over. Nearly half an hour later and after being ignored by 2 members of staff we left. Found some old fake nails in the sugar pot! Glad we could pay for drinks via the QR code or could have been there even longer waiting. Awful!

Loved my Saturday brunch in Guildford. The place is decorated beautifully, staff were so nice and all vegan dishes we tried were just right. Also, amazingly tasty coffee. Will definitely pop back in on my next Guildford visit. Thank you :)

June 2024 update- it's getting no better. I have been 3 times now because I like the atmosphere and the menu but the service is terrible and they aren't doing anything about it. I hope it goes bust and someone else can take on the fit-out and run it well. Great food and the menu looks good to explore. The service is charming but it's all a bit slow and inexperienced overall. The atmosphere could be better, it's noisy because it's quite an open bare space (decorated nicely but it's certainly in need of acoustic boards on the ceiling). Staff were all hanging around at the kitchen entrance end of the bar, needed to be out and about a bit more. Mains came out whilst our starters were still on our table and unfinished. I would give it a few months before I returned so the new team could get used to it.

I hosted a surprise birthday party for my husband at the restaurant, and the entire experience was fantastic. From the initial booking to taking our pre-order and allowing us to drop off a cake in advance, the team was incredibly supportive. On the evening of the event, the staff made serving our party of 15 seem effortless. Their attention to detail and excellent service made the night truly memorable. Highly recommend!

A nice restaurant. We didn’t feel the food was amazing and felt it was a bit overcooked and not particularly full of flavour compared to some similar chains. It was also quite expensive for what it was costing £53 for two people excluding drinks. We were also waiting a fair while to pay the bill as well, however the menu choices are great.

I've been to Coppa Club in Guildford three times now and the service has been really disappointing each time - I won't be visiting again. There are so many other nice cafés, restaurants and bars in Guildford.

Would recommend for wine and cocktails only, not food. They add service charge. Staff were really good, friendly and helpful. Food was very average so wouldn’t recommend eating there. Good wine and cocktail selection, beer limited. As others mentioned cutlery seems to be optional (why?) and they didn’t offer any dipping sauces either.

The food was overpriced for the quality although it was prepared well. On the face of it coppa club looks like a nice restaurant but you'd be better off eating at a nandos-esque restaurant if you're going for food.

I really don’t like leaving bad reviews, but it’s my second visit to Coppa Club last night and it was just as bad as the first time. I find it baffling that a well-known chain which presents itself as upmarket & no doubt markets itself well, pays so little attention to its actual guest experience. The staff, bless them as they all look like they’re straight out of school, have not an ounce of training between them so your starters are cleared before you’ve finished and mains are already on the table. Not a manager or senior member staff in sight holding down the fort, stopping them all from chatting in the kitchen or by the tills when they should be serving customers. The front of house girls look lost - we were a table of 10, but given a table with only 8 chairs. When we asked the girls for an extra two chairs, it sent them into a spin and we eventually found our own chairs 10 minutes later. The food is some of the worst I’ve had in Guildford. The beef ragu was just a plate of plain, overcooked pasta - not a piece of beef in sight. The texture of the flash steak was more like a burger than a steak, and the zucchini fries were basically the crispy leftovers from the fryer covered in way too much salt. The birthday dessert was bought out with a candle….but we had to wait 10 minutes for a spoon. Honestly I could go on, and luckily we could all laugh about it last night, but I’m afraid I will not being returning to Coppa club again. There are far better places to spend an evening, and restaurants who work hard on their customers service and their food - such as Theion or Positano - who deserve your money more than Coppa Club. They are relying on their reputation elsewhere and their monopoly on the high street to give a sub-par offering at a relatively high price point. I really hope whoever is in charge reads the reviews and listens to feedback, and addresses the major issues being presented by many of the customers. The one star is for our server Rhys, and for the barman who served us our first drinks while we waited for our table. They were friendly & doing their best under the circumstances.

There is a massive @ located on Guildford high street 😌 The three-floors townhouse serves as a cafe for working, a restaurant for dining, and a bar for socialising… all under one roof! 😯 The interior is absolutely stunning, perfect place to book for private dining, anniversaries or birthdays. On thursdays and saturdays they have DJ nights upstairs for good tunes and vibes, and they also serve amazing cocktails! ❤️

We came here on a Friday night. We hadn’t booked as a party of 8 but the host was more than happy to arrange this for us. The service was brilliant and the food was incredible. Drinks wise we had soft drinks and wine. Then we also had a few starters for the table as well as mains. The two kids had the kids menu. The food was delicious!!! Pizzas served on lovely wooden boards. None of us had been to zizzis for years, but this has made me want to go more! Will hopefully see you soon :-)

I actually felt sorry for the staff! Particularly the bar man who had to watch people queuing/waiting for take aways and to be seated. Not enough hands on deck. Took 15 mins and me asking if we could get seated. Barman was amazing professional attentive and polite. Found us a table and voiced hoped we would get served soon. They had a received lul an hour in and mass triage and cleaning commenced. Service for us was okay in terms of time. Waiter was lovely apologetic and professional. Just more staff on the floor needed

Poor experience on Saturday night. Starters arrived before drinks. Five minutes later we were told our mains were ready and getting cold so we needed to hurry up. We said we’d only just got our starters, then another member of staff came up and reiterated our god would be cold when it arrived if they didn’t bring it right away. We’d ordered pasta, shouldn’t have been started until starters were taken away. Very poor service.

27/4 was my five month anniversary with my misses and I brought her in with a reservation at 18:45, I had the best service I've experienced in Guildford, Tegan in particular who was our waiter was incredible, great service and very polite and friendly. Then Lilly invited us to experience the upstairs cocktail bar and gave us a free spritz experience! While up there, Cohen was amazing on the bar and fantastic service again. Over all this place has been my favourite bar far and will telling my friends and family about it. Also food was unreal! Thank you for a fantastic night and good luck with the future of the company. Well.. depends on how high your standards are.. interior and food presentation are good, but food itself is a bit basic. In our case, various bits were forgotten and had to be repeatedly chased, then large portions included in the bill where small ones were ordered. And even though the difference was eventually refunded, the compulsory 12.5% tip was not. So you decide.

I've visited a number of coppa clubs and this is by far the most baffling. If it is just a restaurant then it is a poor one, with poor service and average, overpriced food. If it is a meeting place, then the atmosphere is terrible, loud, badly designed space. My friend and I booked a table on Friday night for dinner at 6.45pm and were told the table needed to be returned by 8pm. No where on the booking for did it say this. We were told we had to read the Ts&C's when booking and yes, there is a time limit of 1 hour 30 for 2 people. But it's buried deep in the Ts&C's. Do people not like each other anymore and want to spend more time together?? If you want a genuinely cool place with great food and service, head to Cosy Club a few doors up the road. Much better.

Ordered the Club Breakfast x 2 this morning with additional eggs and bacon. Perfectly good food. When the bill arrived we queried it and were told that we had not had the Club Breakfast and that we should have been aware of this because of the size of the plate. Really when we have never visited before? Having paid I said to a member of staff that this was really rather unacceptable and the bill should have been reworked. This was shrugged off as a misunderstanding by the waiter. It seems their customer service is rather lacking. Avoid.

Greeted warmly at the door and served quickly. There is a lounge area for coffee which is cosy and was relatively quiet. Staff are welcoming and happy to help. It was nice to catch up and have a coffee without being disturbed. I’d like to visit again as the food looked delicious!

I organised a surprise birthday party for my husband in the cocktail club. It started a little shakily as, once the booking was made, the events team in HQ stopped replying to my emails and I couldn't get information on dietary requirements. However, once I went into the restaurant and spoke to the manager, I was reassured that we would be taken care of and indeed I started getting emails from another lady (Sophie Donovan) who couldn't have been more helpful. In the end, the evening was a great success - the atmosphere was fantastic, the food and drink were great and the staff were extremely friendly and helpful. I would definitely recommend this space if you're looking to hold a party in Guildford.

Myself, my husband, my friend and my mum intended to have dinner before a concert at G Live this evening. We arrived at 6:15 and despite having no booking we were told that this wasn’t an issue and we were seated. The restaurant was quite busy however there were a lot of staff on duty. I’d suggest a reasonable amount to cope with the demand. We waited some time before a drinks order and then further time for the drinks to arrive - 4 soft drinks. We then waited longer before our order was finally taken for 3 pizzas, a pasta dish and garlic bread. We waited an hour and our mains were no where to seen. After an hour of waiting and our concert just minutes away from starting, we asked the waitress for an update on our food. We were advised the pizzas were in the oven but the pasta hadn’t been started yet. We asked if we could pay for the pizzas and then get them boxed up to go. After about 5/10 minutes, the waitress came over again and stated that in fact the pizzas hadn’t actually been started yet. As such we advised her to cancel our order as we didn’t have time to wait let alone wait and then eat. She bought us the bill for our drinks and garlic bread with no real apology or any offer of a reduced bill. £30 for four soft drinks and garlic bread for us to walk out hungry and disappointed. We saw so many take away orders been boxed up and every time we got excited thinking our food was on the way, it was packed into a box and handed to a delivery driver. Why a restaurant wouldn’t prioritise their customers in house is really bizarre to me. In addition to all of this, our waitress (who was professional with us) was so incredibly rude to her colleagues. She shouted at bar staff twice and then shouted at another waiter. This was loud enough for us to hear sitting at our table. So unprofessional and I felt sorry for them! I wouldn’t return and I would recommend.

This was the second time myself and my daughters have visited Zizzi in Guildford and both times have been 5 star. The welcome, the service, the atmosphere, all the staff are friendly, the food and the drink and the decor, all 5 star. Bosh.

Great food, especially the butter with dates at the beginning. The steak fries weren't great, but the service and vibe were awesome.

We ordered a clic and collect yesterday it was 2 pizza and a pulled pork fries Absolutely awful, fries undercooked and plain pork,, had no seasoning at all , a handful of soggy pork on a handful of chips( there’s a picture how it’s advertised at the menu and a picture how we received the pork fries ) We paid for extra ham 2£ something and got maybe a slice all over our pizza , there’s barely topping on a 17£ pizza , needles to say we didn’t eat any of it I used to like Zizzi but this is unacceptable, I just throw out over 40£ for a meal I was not able to eat Shame on Zizzi We are never going to eat at Zizzi again and I can’t recommend to anyone If I could give a -1* I would !

The girls stopped by Saturday afternoon for coffee, cocktails and some nibbles. The bar team were very accomodating, drinks fab, food good, but we shared 3 small plates, slightly over priced for what we got. Brilliant atmophere, we loved it. 🥂

Louise- the manager was fantastic- made us feel very welcome. My youngest , two years old adores the manager and enjoys coming to the restaurant- our weekly/monthly get away. Great space for prams too

Lovely long Friday lunch for my wife’s birthday. Emily C was a fantastic host , attentive and thoughtful. Couldn’t fault the experience. Copper Club Town house Guildford has better food, service and more space around the tables than the Ivy. If you’re thinking Ivy, try CCTH Guildford.

Our first visit here and a very pleasant one. We were well looked after by the team, and the food was great. My wife has specific dietary requirements (lactose intolerance) and the online menu is accessible via a QR code on the menus. Interestingly this didn’t work as the web page had been deleted/moved - nevertheless it was eventually found by browsing the website. It was a touch noisy where we were sitting, but all in rather good. I’m sure we will return.

Cai was a fantatic waiter. Definitely go again for great food and service. He gave us space but still attended and available when we wanted to order. Really enjoyed the light atmosphere. The tea and starters were lovely.

Really disappointing. 5 of my friends and I went for dinner to the Guildford branch and had the worst service. My friend had to ask for a glass of Prosecco 3 times to 2 different staff members, eventually having to physically go up to them and ask for it, which still took a good 10 minutes to get to us.One of my friends asked for information about a dish, the waiter assured it was large and came with lots of vegetables; turned up very small with no vegetables only a few salad leaves. We asked for table sauces 2 or 3 times, eventually one waitress coming back with the tiniest amount of tomato ketchup barely enough for 1 person. I asked for a second ginger beer and got given a ginger ale (at this point I gave up trying to correct the mistakes and just let it go). Worst of all, when we received the bill we were looking through it and my boyfriend who was sober due to dry January had ordered a 0% Guinness, which was £5, however, the bill claimed it was £6.50... ...we eventually worked out that he had actually be given an alcoholic Guinness (this wasn't even on the menu) from the bar. We were all really shocked, he had broken his dry January streak- he was upset and disappointed yet not the end of the world, but, imagine if he had been a recovering alcoholic or on medication that doesn't allow alcohol. Really, really poor service and attention to care of customers. Will not be recommending this place to others or coming back in a hurry!

We booked the top bar for our engagement party and the venue, staff, food and drinks were all perfect. We had the venue to ourselves and the staff did everything they could to make sure we had the very best time. Dan and the team were phenomenal, making wonderful cocktails and ensuring the champagne stayed flowing. We had some very specific instructions but nothing was too much trouble for them. I couldn’t recommend the venue enough for a special occasion.

Went for drinks in the early afternoon. Waited 20 minutes for my order to be taken. I ordered simply a bottled cold press juice. Never came. I ended up drinking tap water. Left after a while.i was never asked if I want something to eat nor I was approached a second time.

We popped in to have a final drink to celebrate our 10th wedding anniversary. We were so touched with a complimentary glass of bubbles and had a wonderful time drinking espresso martini while reminiscing over photos from the last 10 years.

Phoned ahead to ask if available for walk-in drinks on New Years Eve and spoke to a delightful man who was very accommodating. After being told plenty of room downstairs for drinks we made our way to the venue. On arrival, greeted by a really rude member of staff who denied us entry saying no space in the venue and that we’d have to wait at least 30 mins to get in. Explained just spoken with staff who guaranteed entry and met with a firm “no”. Similar to another review on here it was empty behind her (like the man on the phone said it was) yet for a party of 2 who just wants drinks - no food or table service - just drinks at the bar, still wasn’t budging. Eventually we ended up demanding we enter having made the journey to the venue, only to have words muttered under her breath as we walked off to sit at the bar - we pointed out the lack of people on the ground floor to which she then couldn’t really argue with. Not quite sure if the conversation was lost in translation, perhaps? Bar staff really friendly and good at their jobs. Unfortunately won’t be returning due to the service experienced by the reservations/door greet host. Real shame as the chain itself I absolutely love.

Service is usually good here but just tried to go in for one drink and were denied. Place was half empty and we asked to just stand at the bar. Not great customer service. I understand if we wanted a table or food but a drink at 6 shouldn’t be a problem. Have had hit and miss service before. Drinks and food are good but need to up their service as there are plenty of other places to go.

Quality of food for the price was unacceptable. Meat was undercooked and different to menu, bottle of prosecco was bought out warm and when we complained and told a new bottle would be bought out, nothing arrived. We spoke to two different managers and given different answers. Service was slow and mains were then bought out when we were still eating starters.

Food was pretty good. Had the roasted aubergine. Being constantly reminded of the time we had left at the table became irritating. Haven't you left yet?! Was what that sounds like.

The service was absolutely dreadful. I will NEVER be going back. The staff were basically BORED AND THEY simply couldn't be bothered...AVOID!!!

Shared starter which had the smallest mezes even for 1 person, very slow service, and I had to push our finished plates to the edge, before the staff who were all gathered at the station chatting finally noticed.Then a further 40 minutes waiting for our main, I ordered a burger which was suppose to be pink, not dripping out red blood! very bad service and for a late Sunday afternoon with lots of empty tables not good, then to have a £15 service charged put on the bill, really not acceptable. We booked Coppa Club as a last minute dinner out with the family! We were served by Katie who was honestly the most polite person I’ve ever met. She was so kind and made every effort to make sure the evening was lovely!! The food was also excellent but Katie made this experience for us!

Birthday lunch for me for 8 people, initially staff and service was good - we all ordered and to be honest the food wasn’t great! I ordered the prawn small plate at £11 and they were totally overdone, barely edible and not worth the money - we all ordered separate orders of fries which all got sent back because they were so cold and even the replacements weren’t great. The pasta dishes were cold and sent back, just got dinged in a microwave and one salad took forever to arrive. Overall - wouldn’t go back again and for a special event it’s made me really sad. I also had a full glass of fizz on the table and said to a waitress could I leave my stuff and go to go the toilet to which she said of course (some people were also away in the loo so the table was empty of people but not things) and when I came back, my glass was gone - when I asked where it was, I was given a replacement glass of flat, awful fizz - happy birthday to me! Great location, has the ability to be fab but good was totally pants and no offers or apologies for the amount of food sent back!

The evening was marred by an unsettling scene as the restaurant staff engaged in a heated argument, creating an uncomfortable atmosphere for people having their food ! To compound matters, the wait for our food was excruciatingly long. It became evident that the internal turmoil among the staff had spilled over into the kitchen, resulting in a noticeable delay in service. Our orders seemed to be lost in the chaos, leading to an extended wait that tested the patience of all. As we observed the disarray, it was disappointing to see the impact it had on the overall atmosphere of the restaurant and the anticipation of a delightful meal was overshadowed by frustration and disappointment. When our food finally arrived, it was apparent that the kitchen had also suffered from the situation. The quality of the dishes was subpar, lacking the attention to detail and finesse that one would expect. It was evident that the discord among the staff had a cascading effect on the entire dining experience. In conclusion, my visit to Zizzi's was marred by a disruptive staff argument and an unreasonably long wait for substandard food. It's disheartening to witness such a decline in the quality of service and overall experience at a venue that I had previously held in high regard. I hope the management addresses these issues promptly, as they significantly detract from what could otherwise be an enjoyable dining destination.

Came for breakfast at 9am opening. The carpet floor hadn’t been cleaned from the night before (there was still chips and other things on it) Toilets dirty. The food was ok but very small. Menu is very confusing. They offer a dish with coffee included but they ended up charging for the coffee and tea because we added eggs and bacon in our dishes. Dishes were served in dirty dishes. Service was slow, mediocre, no attention to details. Very disappointing. We will not be rushing there anytime soon.

Food was excellent. Service - not. Us and everyone sat around us had to wait for ages to have our orders taken. The cutlery does not come with the food so we had our food sitting in front of us for a few minutes before we could actually eat it. Same for the table next to us. All the servers were hanging at the back around the front of the kitchen and would rarely check on the cafe area. I heard everyone around us complaining about the service - it was embarrassing to hear. One server was very friendly though. Decor was nice. Toilet was less than clean. Edit: the cutlery issue has been mentioned in many other reviews and still there has been no improvements made.

A miserable solo customer treated me it’s utter respect. Yesterday I ate elsewhere it was as awful. Hated every moment. Today was an unplanned meal in a city I did not expect to be. Treater like a prince . I won’t say the staff are working off their feet - no - they have stepped to the plate & gone so far beyond it is totally unexpected. Best meal in a long time!!

Disappointed that despite being advertised as open until 1.30am when friends and I braved the rain and arrived at 11.30pm on Friday to visit the cocktail bar, we were advised they'd already done last orders! A shame as when it has been open we enjoyed our previous visits. Puts me off going again.

A cozy establishment with a pleasant atmosphere. We enjoyed cappuccino and hot chocolate. Friendly service. The toilets are clean. Nice quiet music. I recommend!🥰

A perfect break yesterday afternoon accompanied by an excellent beer and many delicious things. Attention to detail, attentive staff. Absolutely fabulous environment.

Antipasti plate is very poor, normally with variety of cheese score 4 of 10 Chicken Milanesa without flavor, something you can prepare at home score 1 of 10 Drinks are OK, score 6 of 10 It's PET FRIENDLY 😍 Lovely atmosphere and decorative furniture 10 of 10.

Came here in a medium sized group (7) for a small work celebration from Vodafone and I had a fantastic time, food was amazing, drinks were perfect and every staff member we interacted with gave amazing service. One person in particular, I can’t remember his name, went above and beyond and whilst a few minor errors were made, these were handled professionally and with a smile. He said it was his first shift and for a first shift I think he did excellently, always smiled back to me. If there was some way to let him know how amazingly he did, please do. Started off with drinks, followed by a 3 course meal and then cocktails, a true celebration. We had a wonderful time and we will be back I’m sure of it.

The atmosphere of the restaurant I think was top tier. The food was yummy and the servers were so lovely and kind, coupled with the ambience, I would rate this place highly. And definitely would go back!

Visited Coppa club Guildford for a lunch today and to our huge disappointment it was a poor experience. The quality of the food was just hideous Lack of flavours, undercooked and what's funny the portions were smaller than average toddlers size meal Not worth visiting and spending your money

Food ok, service good, atmosphere good but not great quality food. The worst thing is when you pay by card by scanning the QR code on your table, after you've paid the bill including the service charge, they ask you if you want to tip, with no thanks 0 or great service £2, excellent service £4 etc. This is totally out of order where it makes you feel guilty for not giving a 'tip' when you already have paid the Service Charge!! They need to get rid of this prompt, sly attempt at guiding customers to pay above the service charge. If they accepted cash, then Im sure people who are v happy with service will pay more than service charge. Either way terrible idea. Someone had Corp Head office needs to hang their head in shame

Do NOT eat here with severe allergies!! Zizzi the most unfriendly and unaccommodating restaurant we have ever encountered. My daughter has anaphylaxis to egg milk sesame and nuts (also to traces). The kitchen could not cook anything for her, but she was also not allowed to eat her own allergy free food which she had brought along just in case. She ended up eating nothing and felt very unwelcome and embarrassed. She was with a group of six friends who were also shocked about the way she was treated. I never write reviews but this was really out of order.

Great new restaurant in Guildford town centre. Service was great, good food and we can bring the dog :)
