Zizi in Windsor and Maidenhead

We always go to our local Zizzi which is in Windsor. It's a great location opposite the Castle. The food and staff are lovely particular Konrad. It was quite busy yesterday Saturday but Konrad always has a smile and check that we are enjoying the food and see if we needed anything else a few times during our visit. We always have the Rustica Pizzas. They are great choice to choose from including Veggies options. For the starter it always the Caramelised onions garlic bread and Fonduta Formaggi are both delicious and are our favourites. We also share our starters as the Ruscica Pizzas are quite bigger then normal round classic sizes. The Pizzas came in lovley and warm, freshly cooked from a Pizza oven. My favourite is the Picante it's spicy which I Iove!, my husband usually has the Primavera and my children go to is Meat Sofia & Chicken & fiery roquito. Both of my kids always asked to take the Spicy roquito out and although it says harrisa chicken it is not too spicy and my kids happily eats the harrisa chicken!. So don't get putted off by the description. Always booked so you don't get too dissapointed. Bonne Apétit!

The food was very tasty, service at first was quite quick and then very slow which was frustrating. It also felt it needed a bit of a clean, filthy under tables and ladies toilets needed addressing.

Although our food was ok, the restaurant looked decidedly grubby. The table felt sticky and the ladies toilets were in need of a good clean. Service wasn’t particularly good either. There are lots of restaurants to chose from in Windsor so Zizi’s really do need to improve in all respects. We won’t be returning.

My food arrived cold, I sent it back and it reappeared 20 minutes later (after everybody else had finished their mains), all four meals were a bit bland, unsurprisingly they were empty and despite it being well before their closing time, they were sweeping floors etc around us and making it clear we were an inconvenience to them. A pretty rubbish experience all round.

We visit Zizzi’s about once a month in Sheffield so decided to give this one a try when visiting Windsor. Very busy so glad we had pre booked. Main course was up to the usual high standard. However our lemon meringue desert was very disappointing. Sent both our desserts back as there was NO lemon in the dish at all. Waited ten minutes and desserts return but clearly had used what we had sent back with some lemon added and the ice cream we had started to eat was replaced either cream. Not impressed wishes we’d sent them back. When paying neatly £8 for a dessert I do expect to get what is written on the menu. Spoilt an otherwise pleasant evening.

Visited Zizzi for a family dinner. The waitress EMMA BROOKS made the overall dinner perfect. She was happy & smiling everytime she came to the table. Nothing was too much for her.

Fabulous dinner tonight with a view of Windsor Castle. . King prawns were immense. 4 of us dining, all had different main courses. Everyone’s dinner was served piping hot (except the mountainous salad) all meals fresh, tasty and well presented. Very busy but service brilliant....

We had dinner yesterday prior to our visit to the Theatre Royal, which is nearby. The food was delicious, the service friendly and informative. We will definitely return

Visited Windsor on the hottest day in the UK. It was fresh to have lunch at Zizzi. Lovely location, great service and food, amazing staff, as usual the Zizzi standard, thanks.

No longer just a pizza place, Zizzi really had a delicious lasagne, incredible bolognese and great service too. 10 in our group and we had a selection ordered but every dish was superb. Highly recommend hot chocolate

Zizi's does what it says on the tin and this one delivers. The difference here is that the waitress and maitre'd were very customer friendly. The waitress was exceptionally smiley and accommodating. The maitre'd was very welcoming.

Teníamos una familia reunida y éramos un gran grupo. Después de visitar el castillo y tomar una decisión de última hora, todos queríamos sentarnos y comer, ya que no lo hacemos tan a menudo. Siendo más de 11 personas, no pensamos que nadie pudiera acomodarlo en ese tipo de aviso. Llamé a Zizzi y las mujeres por teléfono dijeron que no sería un problema. Al estar a la vuelta de la esquina, estuvimos allí en 5 minutos, a la llegada, la mesa estaba preparada y listo. El personal fue muy educado y amable. Nuestra camarera (no captó su nombre) fue muy servicial en todo momento y quisiera agradecer personalmente por una comida familiar tan perfecta. Hay bastantes restaurantes en la calle principal, pero definitivamente recomendaría ir a Zizzi.
