Zeyfin Seafood Restaurant in Horsham

Sat down on a Monday night, quiet but the food was good and the service was great. Cost was pretty good value for money. Overall a very pleasant evening

Very disappointing. Starters pleasant but no finger bowl provided for the mussels. Main dish arrived before the starters had been cleared. Main course of lobster Thermidor was poor - very little meat, no dauphinois potatoes ( chips instead), lukewarm and no dressing for the salad. Trying to offer fine dining but failing miserably. Fine dining prices! Will not be returning.

I wanted to pop on here and say a huge “thank you” to the lovely gentleman who was working yesterday afternoon (14/4/23) behind the take away counter. My coeliac son and I popped in to enquire (and did purchase some chips) if your chips are gluten free etc. My goodness I had a very very delighted child who has said your chips are the best thing he’s ever eaten. Sadly he’s never really been able to access takeaway due to his coeliac disease so yesterday was epic for him. The gentleman behind the counter was so kind and lovely as well. We absolutely would recommend any to visit. The premises were extremely comfortable and utterly immaculate. I even commented how gleaming everything was! Many many thanks again. It’s so hard and extremely rare to be able to walk into anywhere and eat in comfort and with ease. Knowing that it is safe. You should absolutely make more of the fact you can cater for gluten free, to an extent. You’d be surprised (or maybe not) how many gluten free folk really want to eat out but can’t due to safety and lack of availability. We don’t always want to visit Pizza Express etc so it’s fantastic there is a local alternative. Thank you again 🙏🏻

Amazing meal Zeyfin This was the first time I have been to Zeyfin and what a delightful night we had. The restaurant was fully booked and with a great atmosphere. The food was cooked with the highest quality, and as a qualified chef, I don't say that easily. We had a very good waiter who was attentive all night and fully explained the menu. Our 2nd visit to Zeyfin and again not a disappointment. Definitely the best fish and chips in and around Horsham and we’ve tried them all. Eat upstairs in comfort. Batter perfect not thick or soggy. Cod large and thickly cut. Chips large and perfectly fried. Each plate comes with mushy peas. Tartare sauce in a bowl and small portion of salad. Do try you can just have fish and chips upstairs in restaurant or choose from an a la carte menu. Our only go to fish and chi shop now. Not the cheapest but certainly the best you get what you pay for. But until you try you won’t know.
