First time trying Marstons Yorkshire Rose pub restaurant, I had fish&chips (a very nice big haddock fillet with crispy batter). My partner had the Sunday Lunch (Turkey), our son had a traditional home made burger with fries. We really enjoyed the food here. Try it, you won't be disappointed.

Just popped in for a couple of beers before football they allowed away fans in so appy days, nice pub lots of people getting food but I didn't take much notice of it but everyone was friendly had a chat with a few locals.

Clean, quick service through the app. Great for fuelling up before the football.

We were a birthday party of 14, so meals were booked in advance. All food served together, and piping hot. Very nice.

Friendly staff. Very easy to order via barcode on the table. Order came quickly. Very tasty food. Only negative was the 'Lighter' pizza was about a third of the size as a normal one and was the same price!

I love visiting this pub, the staff are absolutely amazing, the food always hot and delicious. Thank you today to Andrew, Pixie, Dan and Harry, Also to all other staff who work so hard especially the chefs. From the pic you can see both meals were eaten to the full Will be back soon

Food; all the same as the other chains, microwaves are there besties however, 3 stars just because the pizzas are banging. Service; average. You can tell who's new, and they charge £1.00, One whole pound for a dash of lemonade ontop of the wine. Why?? FU BEN. Atmosphere; good with good company, that's all. One star cause the boyfriend is below average. PS. Don't know if the name was Ben but, FU BEN, your halloween decorations are poor. Pps. Sort your hucking fair out. You're 12 you don't need to dye it black.

Met friends here today, for food and a good catch up, My friends had Chicken Tikka Masala, I had the Fish and Chips. Food arrived hot and delicious, staff were amazing, thank you to Beth, Shanigh, Johnathan, Andrew and Milad. Fantastic group of staff who always make you feel welcome. Thank you to the Chefs for the beautiful food. Keep it up, will defo be back.

Called for pub lunch and only had a jacket potato but the other food looked delicious and the people eating it said it was lot. The service was great and the staff were really nice and friendly.

Great service, the waitress managed really well looking after all the many breakfast customers. I was there the night before too (Saturday) for a meal. Quality of the food was good on both occasions.

Came in for a last minute Sunday roast lunch as unable to get in elsewhere. I would describe it as quite basic. We had turkey. The meat was average. Veg ok. Meat and veg served ready plated up. Service was good. Atmosphere was good. Cranberry sauce was provided on request.

We had lunch here. It was OK the usual concenience pub food (the fries were awful though).

Recently refurbished. Food selection not as good as it was. Too much emphasis on burgers etc. Used to go regularly but not so often now.

All around great experience, the breakfast was cooked to perfection- the bacon specifically was absolutely lovely. And the service was great, the staff were friendly and constantly checked in on us.

The food was lovely and so reasonably priced. All the staff were lovely to my daughter who was running around before we saw the play area. We were served by a lad called Hari who was pleasant and got everything we asked for with a smile such as extra plate and additional drinks

shannon was very helpful and did all she was asked of with no issues at all, she was an absolute pleasure.

I came in at the weekend for a family meal and Shanigh was my server, she was kind helpful and very attentive, food was great, will be returning with the family 👍

Our evening at the Yorkshire Rose would have been good, but thanks to the service from our waitress Shannon, it was absolutely excellent. Her service and conversation was impeccable, and we felt like a priority despite everyone else also seeming to receive the same quality of treatment. She is a credit to the team.

We have been to the Yorkshire Rose a few times and always happy with food served. The service always exceptional and Hari our waiter explained the dishes and ensured we were completely satisfied. Good service often gets overlooked and it should be recognised when done well.

The Yorkshire Rose is now open daily for breakfasts. We went in this week for breakfast. Good choice. Good value for money. Staff were really helpful, friendly and very polite. Beth was brilliant! Nothing was too much trouble. We will definitely be paying a visit again next time we are in the area

The best customer service I've had in a Marstons establishment and I've done few. We asked about the drinks and food offerings and their suggestion. I took note of our server Shane Blair because I felt he went out of his way and took the time so that we had the best experience. He came back to our table when he saw we had finished eating to follow up on what we had in hadn't enjoyed which is rare these days plus made us laugh.... a lot. You could tell he took pride in his work and it's not just a job to him. Big Thank You to Shane for a great dining experience.... We will be back!

We recently visited The Yorkshire Rose while staying at the nearby Travelodge, and we had a brilliant time! From the moment we walked in, the staff made us feel welcome. The food was excellent – fresh, tasty, and great value. We enjoyed a few drinks as well, which only added to the relaxing atmosphere. A special shoutout to Shane Blair, one of the managers, who went above and beyond to make sure everything was perfect. His warm hospitality made our visit even more enjoyable, and the entire team were friendly and attentive throughout. Overall, it was a great evening full of laughs and good food. We’ll definitely be back the next time we’re in town!

Absolutely love coming here with my family. Lots of choice at a great price. The manager Shane is so warm and welcoming, nothing is too much trouble for him - especially when you have kids who are fussy eaters! We've always been served quickly and food is fresh. Highly recommend a visit 👌

Never been here before, got the gammon and for a change from other places I got runny yolks, miles better than the usual over cooked one's served elsewhere. Good portions as well. Definitely going back

I enjoyed its atmosphere, it was so peaceful, I had a cowboy burger and fries, which were super scrumptious and enough for me when I could eat a horse. The service was great and the waiters are so guest obsessed. I highly recommend that pub.

All in all, had a nice meal here with my mum. Unfortunately had to ask for another steak, however was dealt with very nicely by Shanigh. She had such a smiley personality and also came back to check on the replacement. She was very kind and helpful, thank you Shanigh! Also, Yorkshire Rose, what are these onion rings? Really bad food for the price, it was dry and un fresh. Did not have enough veg options and the food was so unappetizing and dull. Wasted money

Not local to this pub but I enjoyed my experience here due to seeing family for a visit, it affordable for all, for the price you pay the quality is more than adequate, atmosphere is good and service was also good from the staff, nice and friendly and helpful as required. Would recommend if you want a chilled out experience and want some decent affordable food.

Always a great night for the quiz on a Thursday. The food is typical chain pub fare. We come for the quiz, not the quality of the food.

We have used this venue on numerous occasions and generally it was fine , not used it now for a couple years until Monday evening when we thought great idea to take our nephew snd his wife there for an evening meal as the were on a visit ftom Perth Australia . We were so disappointed with the food ,my steak was tough and chewy peas were hard znd not been cooked long enough the .mushrooms were just enough to fill a tea spoon I eould say just one chopped very fine ,,I did enjoy the chips. My wife's steak was thin and tough , she asked for no chips but got them ,,and the rest the same.e as mine , my nephew has a pie looked vert nice o complaints from him or his wife just ours ,,won't be going again

The roast dinner was poor, mash was Smash, the roast potatoes felt re heated and the beef was like eating leather. Mac and cheese came with BBQ all over it which ruined the meal and the child’s sausage mash and peas came without peas and with cucumber and raw carrots. Can’t say they didn’t have pease because I found a rogue one in one of the roasts. Drinks cost nearly as much as food. Absolutly terrible

A lovely setting to celebrate my friend's and my cat's birthday. The BBQ cauliflower wings are a must! Although, awkward we thought the sharer portion was a starter... We spied the board games in the corner just as we were leaving, so we'll be back to play some, plus some evening pints.

Visited in 2013 and had the Sunday roast. Wasn't overly impressed however returned aug 2024 and thought to try a roast again and was seriously impressed. Great portion, very tasty and presented very well. Will return again. The sherry trifle cheesecake was to die for !!!!! Great service by front of house and bar staff.

What do I say about the yorkshire rose? The place was absolutely buzzing and I was served quickly. There were enough seats for my 4 brats and the misses to sit down and enjoy what was a fantastic meal. The little one even got his own bowl of chips, which the server had no hesitation in bringing. My steak was proper good. Even the misses enjoyed her time! That's a first. Anyway I would highly recommend the yorkshire rose, proper good place, will be back.

Wow, all I can say is wow. Greeted by a beautiful young man who showed us to our table, me and wife shared a bottle of the house red recommended by said young man. It paired perfectly with the Mains of Mac and cheese and the double quarter pounder burger. Would recommend to anyone and everyone !
