Yorkshire Rose in Kirklees

It was to celebrate my daughters 18th birthday and there were 26 of us. Your team did very well at delivering all the food together and it was lovely.

Christmas lunch with friends starters and desert were ok but the main course was awful dry turkey veg and roast potatoes at best lukewarm ,definitely won't be booking again

Nice enough inside. Food average, Cruz Campo £6.20 a pint and fruit cider £6.50 a pint, orange cordial n water £4.55 a pint. Disgusting prices. Wont be going back again purely cause of the rip off drinks prices.

Great beef sunday roast ..love it and wife loved her chicken roast..staff are friendly with a smile on there faces and there is always a table to sit...I've been to a lit of places for a Sunday dinner...this place beats them all..

We had a great family meal here there were seven of us. Great service. We tried to do the QR code ordering!! Ended up going to the till as that was easier with the large order. They were quick at bringing all our cutlery etc. We all shared our starters, the mains were all cooked well and it all arrived piping hot 🔥. Puds were fab too, except for the sticky toffee pud was a bit tasteless but we still gobbled it up 🤣. Ooohh dog friendly too xx

Average food. Typical pub grub.

Nice quet area choosen so we was able to enjoy our meal with family. Service was really good and the food is fairly priced and bonus I was able to use my blue light card so got an even better price deal.

The only thing was that through the bar code I couldn't order a coffee Americano with NO milk so I had to go to the bar to get my order sorted. Other thing I would suggest is to have more EV charging points as sometimes I had tried to go for a meal while I was charging my car, but the only charging point was occupied so I had to go somewhere else.

Haven't visited for probably over a year but decided to pop in for a late breakfast ... so glad we did. The Bar man Shane, who was also our server, was so friendly, welcoming and attentive, even when it got busy and he was on his own; a star 🌟 thank you 😁 The food was delicious - not very often I finish a cooked breakfast completely, but felt relaxed so enjoyed it 😊 We will be back, sooner rather than later for sure 😁

The ease of booking on the website was really easy and the staff greeting was very pleasant and the serving staff were very efficient with the order. The food was excellent with the pricing spot on and I would have no hesitation in recommending the pub for a drink and/or food, Keep up the good work.

Went here for a get 2 gether with friends on Monday evening and we had a really fabulous time. The 3 young ladies on the bar and waitressing were just brilliant. Happy, friendly, efficient and could not do enough for you. Lovely girls. One of them, who I think was a supervisor/Manager kept checking everything was ok. The food was really good and everyone enjoyed it. We couldn't fault a thing. Its a really good pub and the staff are great. Thanks to all the staff for such a fab evening.

First time trying Marstons Yorkshire Rose pub restaurant, I had fish&chips (a very nice big haddock fillet with crispy batter). My partner had the Sunday Lunch (Turkey), our son had a traditional home made burger with fries. We really enjoyed the food here. Try it, you won't be disappointed.

Clean, quick service through the app. Great for fuelling up before the football.

Just popped in for a couple of beers before football they allowed away fans in so appy days, nice pub lots of people getting food but I didn't take much notice of it but everyone was friendly had a chat with a few locals.

We were a birthday party of 14, so meals were booked in advance. All food served together, and piping hot. Very nice.

Friendly staff. Very easy to order via barcode on the table. Order came quickly. Very tasty food. Only negative was the 'Lighter' pizza was about a third of the size as a normal one and was the same price!

I love visiting this pub, the staff are absolutely amazing, the food always hot and delicious. Thank you today to Andrew, Pixie, Dan and Harry, Also to all other staff who work so hard especially the chefs. From the pic you can see both meals were eaten to the full Will be back soon

Food; all the same as the other chains, microwaves are there besties however, 3 stars just because the pizzas are banging. Service; average. You can tell who's new, and they charge £1.00, One whole pound for a dash of lemonade ontop of the wine. Why?? FU BEN. Atmosphere; good with good company, that's all. One star cause the boyfriend is below average. PS. Don't know if the name was Ben but, FU BEN, your halloween decorations are poor. Pps. Sort your hucking fair out. You're 12 you don't need to dye it black.

Met friends here today, for food and a good catch up, My friends had Chicken Tikka Masala, I had the Fish and Chips. Food arrived hot and delicious, staff were amazing, thank you to Beth, Shanigh, Johnathan, Andrew and Milad. Fantastic group of staff who always make you feel welcome. Thank you to the Chefs for the beautiful food. Keep it up, will defo be back.

Bar staff were very welcoming, we were looked after by 3 staff all as helpful as the other, The food was just lovely. Highly recommended We will return.. soon.

Great service, the waitress managed really well looking after all the many breakfast customers. I was there the night before too (Saturday) for a meal. Quality of the food was good on both occasions.

Came in for a last minute Sunday roast lunch as unable to get in elsewhere. I would describe it as quite basic. We had turkey. The meat was average. Veg ok. Meat and veg served ready plated up. Service was good. Atmosphere was good. Cranberry sauce was provided on request.

We had lunch here. It was OK the usual concenience pub food (the fries were awful though).

Recently refurbished. Food selection not as good as it was. Too much emphasis on burgers etc. Used to go regularly but not so often now.

All around great experience, the breakfast was cooked to perfection- the bacon specifically was absolutely lovely. And the service was great, the staff were friendly and constantly checked in on us.

We have been to the Yorkshire Rose a few times and always happy with food served. The service always exceptional and Hari our waiter explained the dishes and ensured we were completely satisfied. Good service often gets overlooked and it should be recognised when done well.

My server Shannon was very helpful, kind and generous and served our drinks and food with a smile and we felt really welcome with her. Will definitely be going back. Highly recommend the food as well

Our evening at the Yorkshire Rose would have been good, but thanks to the service from our waitress Shannon, it was absolutely excellent. Her service and conversation was impeccable, and we felt like a priority despite everyone else also seeming to receive the same quality of treatment. She is a credit to the team.

The food was lovely and so reasonably priced. All the staff were lovely to my daughter who was running around before we saw the play area. We were served by a lad called Hari who was pleasant and got everything we asked for with a smile such as extra plate and additional drinks

Never been here before, got the gammon and for a change from other places I got runny yolks, miles better than the usual over cooked one's served elsewhere. Good portions as well. Definitely going back

We recently visited The Yorkshire Rose while staying at the nearby Travelodge, and we had a brilliant time! From the moment we walked in, the staff made us feel welcome. The food was excellent – fresh, tasty, and great value. We enjoyed a few drinks as well, which only added to the relaxing atmosphere. A special shoutout to Shane Blair, one of the managers, who went above and beyond to make sure everything was perfect. His warm hospitality made our visit even more enjoyable, and the entire team were friendly and attentive throughout. Overall, it was a great evening full of laughs and good food. We’ll definitely be back the next time we’re in town!

The Yorkshire Rose is now open daily for breakfasts. We went in this week for breakfast. Good choice. Good value for money. Staff were really helpful, friendly and very polite. Beth was brilliant! Nothing was too much trouble. We will definitely be paying a visit again next time we are in the area

The best customer service I've had in a Marstons establishment and I've done few. We asked about the drinks and food offerings and their suggestion. I took note of our server Shane Blair because I felt he went out of his way and took the time so that we had the best experience. He came back to our table when he saw we had finished eating to follow up on what we had in hadn't enjoyed which is rare these days plus made us laugh.... a lot. You could tell he took pride in his work and it's not just a job to him. Big Thank You to Shane for a great dining experience.... We will be back!

I enjoyed its atmosphere, it was so peaceful, I had a cowboy burger and fries, which were super scrumptious and enough for me when I could eat a horse. The service was great and the waiters are so guest obsessed. I highly recommend that pub.

All in all, had a nice meal here with my mum. Unfortunately had to ask for another steak, however was dealt with very nicely by Shanigh. She had such a smiley personality and also came back to check on the replacement. She was very kind and helpful, thank you Shanigh! Also, Yorkshire Rose, what are these onion rings? Really bad food for the price, it was dry and un fresh. Did not have enough veg options and the food was so unappetizing and dull. Wasted money

Not local to this pub but I enjoyed my experience here due to seeing family for a visit, it affordable for all, for the price you pay the quality is more than adequate, atmosphere is good and service was also good from the staff, nice and friendly and helpful as required. Would recommend if you want a chilled out experience and want some decent affordable food.
