A very pleasant experience. Pleased to discover the wide range of prices from reasonable to expensive (to me anyway😅). And there were more bargains to be had in the sale. Staff were helpful when asked. The young woman in the Pause cafe was brilliant. Working solo and doing really well.

Would be brilliant if a member of staff could man the phone. Had a measurement for a blind and I’ve had to chase up a purchase price.

Called to huddersfield store on Beck Road, asked one of the staff about an offer I had seen in the newspaper, she was not helpful at all, very rude and ignorant, started to walk off as I was still talking! I couldn't get her name as she didn't stick around! She was either rushing for her lunch or rushing to go home! Rubbish service

Call in this morning, had a lovely coffee. Staff very pleasant as always. The girl on the check out down stairs went above and beyond, as the staff usually do. Just a very chilled morning with excellent helpful staff.

Lovely store, we go and purchase often. However it has become a lottery as to whether the cafe is open or not. Last experience the cafe would not serve meals or drinks as it 'closed' at 2pm. Two members of staff at the cafe said it was because of staff shortage?????.

Lots of lovely fabrics and stuff for the home. It's a great place to visit for inspiration. The cafes good too though takes a while to get served as usually short staffed but it's reasonably priced but food is nothing special, panini etc. You're not rushed though so that's a plus and they have a disabled toilet and a lift up to the cafe.

Great place to do homeware shopping. There's also a lovely little cafe inside

Large store. Lots of items that are well signposted so you can find what you want. Good value especially when there is a sale on. Onsite cafe and toilets.

Not all staff are great here young guy was supposed to help me out taken a huge rug down for me,he wasn't interested at all ended up having my friend with me taken it down rolling it up and lifting to the till for me,lovely girl was serving me explained what had happened asked if I would like to speak to manager I said yes I would like to put a complaint in,spoke to manager who ended up apologising on his behalf about is behaviour that was it,the manager didn't seem to bothered either,I've bought lots of items from here won't be returning again I will shop online in future

Order placed and confirmed, then a few hours later I get a message saying no stock available after I have paid for the item. Most annoying is that they have stock available at two nearby stores - I had to search for this information myself and instead of offering me alternative locations to collect they have just refunded the order. If this is their idea of customer service then I will be shopping elsewhere.

Gone badly downhill. Cheap imported textiles and tat for the house but twice the price of Home bargains or b&m. I called in for basic bit of sewing equipment. Lady on door (welcomer) didnt look up from her phone. Dirty tissue on floor with what looked like blood or worse. May have just been the Huddersfield branch but not what I'm used to from them. Save your money.

Good store easy to navigate around isles are a bit narrow in places so not the easiest for wheelchair users but the staff are very friendly and will help when asked.

My sister and I love taking our dad for hot chocolate and cake in the cafe area but always buy lots when we're there. Great selection of goods. Dad is 89 and in a wheelchair. Access is easy and staff are always very accommodating at the Huddersfield store.

Went to check out toaster seen on Web site was it worth £48 Decided to buy another 2 slice one to match other one for £16 not at dunelm but worth a look

It's OK a bit of a mix and match .lots of stock missing and shelfs empty.didnt get what I wanted as was advertised but empty shelf

Not always enough staff about to ask questions however, always full of items and good offers when they have them

This is the only store I know where you can buy harbadasherie items, maybe wrong but I did google it to see where the nearest store was for what I wanted.

Exhorbitant parking charge demand received the following week because after shopping we stayed for lunch. Lovely goods and nice lunch but won't be going again.

Spoke to a staff member as I wasn't sure with measurements, she was great worked measurements and cost out, nice thing is I didn't have to go looking for her but she wasn't hovering and pushy, wish I'd read her name badge so she could have been told how helpful she was

Everything you would expect from a Dunelm store, decent range, excellent value and very friendly staff. Think were putting new stock out for weekend [i visited Friday lunchtime] as store, particularly around the till area was a bit of a mess.

Great for soft furnishings and small items of furniture.

To the male staff member unpacking chairs near the entrace door on Sunday 27/8...I would not recommend talking via your earpiece about a customer with your colleague on the till when that customer is standing close to you listening to your every word. It was discourteous, highly unprofessional and rude. If you are the assistant manager or similar then God help your store. No reply wanted or needed, I will not be returning.

We go to the cafe there, staff are lovely. Sonya especially very friendly. When we walk in on the ground floor staff are very nice too, makes you want to go back.

Oh dear! On this occasion, I went to return two sets of duvets, which were packaged as double in size. They turned out to be single and not what was expected. Explained once, the manager was called. Whilst waiting, a nosy cashier came across, and I ended up explaining to her. Finally the manager arrived. Explained for the third time what had happened. He didn't listen well. Looked at the receipts and said it says single on the receipt so you have got what you have paid for. At this point, I could have sworn gloss paint would have dried quicker than this dude understanding what I was saying. He then almost refused to serve me. The cashier intervened and told him the packaging said double and single popped out. To which he went and got one to exchange even though I needed two. He then had to go back again to exchange the other. Was just glad to get out of this store.

You can get everything here to make your home beautiful and very cooperative staff and customer services.

Today I went in for a couple of items...Two storage units one of which was a display item. I asked a gentleman for help ....two be fair he was busy but didn't seem to want to help. I found a very helpful lady called Georgina who after helping us even reduced item and helped us out to car....The lady that served us at till was great too. 👍

Got the plate I was looking for and it was relatively inexpensive.

Fine , but unfortunately they didn't have the size of throw I required ! But I was given the opportunity to purchase a slightly smaller on but with 22% offered as it didn't have any packaging with ' but the packaging consisted of a small piece of cardboard wrapped round the centre ' so no problem in that department, but the offer had been given to me! So that was my perogative, very helpful staff . Thanks once again M@.

Whilst the place has some nice things it’s very difficult to access the upstairs which houses the cafe and kitchen wares if you are disabled as the lift is often out of order. We were told there was no other way of getting upstairs

Although I had gone there to get a hose pipe, they didn't stick it. The staff were very professional and helping. I would definitely go back again

On the negative side some of the shelves look like a jumble sale and sometimes have damaged items on them. They also insist on email receipts which is fine if they actually arrive.

As a full paying customer I was made to wait whilst kitchen staff sorted colleague drinks out, even tho the que was getting longer. Once the server could be bothered to take my order she was ignorant and rude. I will never set foot in this place again. Shame on you

Dunelm has some beautiful things for the home, from bedding to furniture. Never come out empty handed. Bought ready made curtains and a new trendy pole. They look great!

Excellent service was given and advise on the large sheepskin rugs we wanted .The assistant ordered for us the colour matching rugs we wanted and with free home delivery.

Got cushions at a decent price, good quality.

Picked up a click and collect order and the service was brilliant.

Just amazed at a shop lifter was able to just walk out with his arms full of goods

Nice stuff but overpriced and forget about the cafe, over priced food, dirty tables and no hot food left & it was only midday when I went. This was Huddersfield but had same experience in Halifax. You need to get a grip as the shops are pleasant and they sell quality items but won't ever go in the cafe again!
