Drive past most days Costa is my preferred coffee (flat white) the croissants are the best by far. Staff are great and provide a fast and efficient service

Visited here today with my family (4pm) Weather good, hence many people were sat outside. Upon entering, MOST of the tables were unoccupied and piled with cups, plates and left over food ! We had to clear a table to sit. I sat there for 30 mins and NONE of the tables were cleared or cleaned. It was an unpleasant experience, dirty and untidy! Numerous customers entered and were unable to find a cleared / clean table even though they were very few customers inside. If this is the best you can do Costa ( Leeds Rd, Huddersfield) we won’t be back ! )

Good coffee shop and fairly quick service

My only issue here is the bacon rolls anything else pre prepared is fine, sausage baps are fine it's only the bacon and i aren't sure it if it's one rash per sandwhich or what the rule is but it's not worth the price this is a 50/50 chance of getting it like this

Great place to visit and chill out. Staff always very friendly and efficient. Excellent coffee. If I could mention one thing, could do with a deep clean particularly the toilets.

Food and drink were good, it was busy but staff were coping admirably. Only down side is (as with a lot of coffee shops and the like) it can be harshly noisy when busy!

one member of staff was a bit rude asking 5 times if I'm paying by card when I clearly had my card out on my hand which you could clearly see so if you can't spot the obvious then you need to get some education and the cup I was served was stone cold so my tea went cold pretty quick

Food range is limited and all very carb heavy. Good coffee but floors are always dirty! No matter how early in the day you go.

Called in for a coffee and hot strawberry milkshake. Was quiet at that time so quick service and the usual Costa coffee served drinks.

This is a Costa coffee shop with pretty much no character… It’s basically a box in a car-park, selling overpriced coffee and soggy stodge-based snacks. But it’s open when other cafés are closed, and located between the football stadium and retail parks, so it’s still busy.

I asked for a few different things, because I was working with a disabled client. Nothing seemed too much trouble, and Ben was very helpful. We'll done mate.

Service was fine, but I ordered the caramel coffee hot milkshake, I had one before from a different branch so I know what they’re meant to be like. But this one was a thin as water. It was just a regular hot coffee. No thickness to it, very disappointing.

My favourite coffee let down by the food selection makes you wonder who picks the food for these places

Queued for 20 mins for 2 drinks. Tables not cleared or wiped. Staff not helpful at all. Too busy concentrating on the drive through. Won't visit again

Busy and a shame that most of the tables for 4 were occupied by only one person, working from their laptop sat with cold ,or empty cups of coffee ☕️!

Costa drive thru staff are always happy and make a great hot chocolate

Tables could have used a clear up, customers were coming in and having to move dirty crockery

The simplest of orders done wrong! Attended at 1231 on 11.11.23, order 243. 2 double espressos, done wrong, I mean how is that even possible. Weak single shots that's how! Que so long, no point in going up. The place is rammed and wholly inadequate for purpose. As a Costa regular this was a highly dissapointing visit!

You just have to go for one nothing else as good

Quite a nice Costa. Free carpark so good for meeting up either with friends or for work. Friendly staff and nice and clean.

Very convenient for a quick, hot drink with a swirl of fresh cream. Great for the long drive home.

Rubbish and disgarded cups all over the car park. The bacon roll was poor, very little bacon. Service good, however the tables and floor filthy. Toilet seat broken and toilet generally poorly cleaned.

Nice place on a very busy road so perfect for a quick stop to refresh and coffee up.

Is horrible service ,staff very rude and grumpy tried to make a complaint to the manager he doesn’t seem like he is bothered I tried to get in touch with the head office through the phone I couldn’t so I had to email them I received an Apology from them and a free 10 beans is like my dignity worth a free coffe,I will never give up.

Just pouring it in. No measuring ended up with a drink that practically tasted of water. She could have made another two drinks at least with what she threw down the sink. Paid for coffee but don’t think she put it in. Waste of money

Not very good cappuccino not frothy just was like a flat coffee

Love the chicken wrap they do. All the cakes look wonderful but when you see flies crawling on them as they're all open, it quickly forces your direction to something in a wrapper.

Standard Costa. The dude behind the counter acted very brusk with me when I didn't understand what he was saying. Tall and skinny. Said he was making it over the far side. I didn't understand and he just got annoyed.

OK but now as good as the one on New Street. Appeared understaffed and having difficulty coping with the cafe as well as the drive through

No cold drinks because they ran out of ice and the A/C was broken. Had to make do with a hot drink in humid conditions

Very disappointed.. came to the drive thru which was closed at 5.30 so went inside no cold drinks available and we had to have takeout!!

The female barista just lovely. Greeted every customer with how are you. Genuine, polite and friendly. A credit to this store.

Watch the Barista while making the coffee shots for your drink, you will watch half of your shots that you bay for are wasted because he/she too lazy to use a bigger cup to collect the coffee shots from the coffee machine , and what’s wrong with air conditioning? That’s why I always go to Costa in the New street and avoid the Costa in Leeds road. And please smile to your customers it’s free 🙂.

Enjoy the selection of drinks but can be rather expensive only thing wrong was drive thus was not operating

No longer have any gluten free sandwich choices, Very busy unit especially at lunchtimes most staff usually friendly and helpful

The hot and cold drinks here are better than cafe Nero and Starbucks no doubt about it! I felt a little bit let down yesterday by the service as I was given no spoon to eat my cake and the takeaway box was just left on the counter. I had no idea it was mine. It wasn't even as busy as it normally is so there was no excuse really.

Brilliant little place (didn't use the drive through). Staff were excellent. It was quite busy, but service was on point. Toilets were also very clean and tidy.

Wake up and go! Always a good coffee and nice selection of warm sandwiches or cold. Reward scheme is very rewarding if you use them often

Drinks good, customer service good but so filthy! All free tables had previous customers plates still on them and tables free of dishes were dirty. Seating was also dirty! There was no enjoyment of the drinks as were all sat on edge trying not to get our clothes dirty. Wouldn’t order to sit in again as can’t risk sitting in unclean environment again

Staff gave me a medium instead of a large Awful treatment drive through staff Taste is awful like their smells

Service with a smile anyone?! I think not… felt like I was served by the grim reaper today. Resented spending my hard earned pennies here and somebody needs to know about it. Below zero customer service and filthy tables. Even Greggs do it better, cmon Costa. Try elsewhere folks, I certainly will be.

Very busy staff rushed off feet very friendly

Unusually good experience for a Costa. It really showed how important the demeanour and behaviour of the serving staff can be. The counter staff were happy, helpful and genuine. It was so good to be served by someone who was able/permitted to be themselves.

What can l say lm a costa convert. Hard to beat toasted current teacake and a cup of tea and chill

This place is going downhill fast. None of them here can make a decent coffee anymore. The WORST Costa in Huddersfield. Go to one of the other 3.

Lauren who was serving was bubbly and cheerful. Adam who was keeping everything clean was efficient. No sooner were the tables vacant he cleaned them ready for the next people. Excellent visit!

Staff are very friendly and helpful. The small cakes and pastries are very dry and not worth buying. All drinks are very well made with good quality ingredients. Good is really enjoyable. Tables are often left too long without cleaning. Overall not a bad place to visit and would go again.

Been coming here past year the last few visit , tall Oliver . Bad attitude absolutely rude towards customers , like he is being forced to work there. No customer service skills at all. For that reason I will Not be returning to coffee. Giving coffee with stain cups with coffee running off the cup I picked it up my hand had coffee all over it I asked him to wipe the cup and he looked at me made me wait for few mins then he wiped it with a dirty wet cloth , we felt like we did something wrong to him , maybe he was racist towards us. the other staff there are wonderful always helpful polite and smile never goes unnoticed. Oliver is his name everyone , watch out for for him. He has ruined our experience as we love coming here but won’t be returning. I didn’t end up drinking my hot drink I don’t know where that dirty cloth had been.

Asked me if I wanted the left over hot chocolate from another customer! When I said said he was indignant and challenged me. Not sure why other colleagues did not point out to him how odd an idea to pay the same but get leftovers! Then when I had barely finished he cleared my tray. I was clearly marking notes and not ready to leave. This left me sitting with empty. It was not busy and the space was not needed. It made me feel very uncomfortable and not what you would expect from him to me an older lady on her own. Very disappointed I will not be back

Great staff, and decent coffee. The choice of food can be a bit hit and miss. Best coffee in Ashton.

Only used the drive through - but the staff are always nice to speak to - must admit - for what you get, it's a little pricey for the food stuff. Drinks are amazing.

Service was very poor, the shop ran out of cream on that day, so all the Christmas range and more was unavailable. To be honest not very often in our days you meet the staff twisting the faces and doing the job like they do me a favour, especially considering the price we pay. Very unprofessional place in general. Not recommended.

I went to costa for a mint hot chocolate which is my most drank hot drink. However, this time we got it and it looked disgusting and the amount of mint syrup put in was horrendous! I thought I was eating tooth paste, I couldn’t taste and chocolate and it got poured straight down the sink when I got home!!!!!! As a barista you should have been able to tell by the colour that it was way too much! Absolutely disgusting! Horrible and rushed!

Coffee was disappointing as the milk was scalded due to over boiling.

Friendly service although a bit slow, considering I saw 5 staff around, but only 1 serving. Food and drinks always nice.

Google and door signage says open from 0600. Costa not open, bloke inside does cutting throught signal, no explanation or indication of when they ARE open.

Flies were crawling over the cakes so had to order wrapped biscuits. Cakes need covering. Seen this at other venues. Not hygienic. This no reflection on the staff. More for action by the company.

Decent coffee (because you can always rely on Costa for that) great cakes, but not much seating so it can get busy at times.

Came here today got our coffee and cake Very quite inside but to choose a table where could we sit most tables full of ppls left overs and trays, food etc, floors covered in food, tables not cleared or cleaned, Cmon guys stop cutting staff and get cleaned up

Although i was initially impressed with the new refurbishment of the Leeds Road Costa Outlet, it looks great , and i do find ' most ' of the Staff to be very professional, i feel i need to complain about most of the 'wobbly tables' in there and the fact that the air con is always set way too cold. Theres nothing worse than sitting down in the freezing cold and then spilling your coffee as a result of the increasing number of 'wobbly tables'. We're paying a lot for an expensive drink in what should be a comfortable environment, please get this sorted asap.

I have finally defected from Starbucks. There are more offers and incentives with Costa. Plus Costa seems to be more cleaner, organised and amiable.

Need to fix opening times on the door and on google. It appears I am not the first and not the last one, who got confused by those. Staff also could have been friendlier.

Iced latte, perfect for a warm, sunny day. Really good. Fast service, even though it was busy.

Apparently only the drivethrough is open at 6am. Despite the front doors stating 6am the staff at the drivethrough said the doors don't open until 8am and blamed management
