YOLO Newcastle in Newcastle upon Tyne

Visited many times but first time I have reviewed. Always a good experience hence the numerous visits. Food is excellent and service second to none. I recommend the nutella calzone as a dessert. Would definitely recommend but might be worth booking on a Saturday.

I arranged my wife's 40th birthday party in the Parlour function room. The booking process was very straight forward and hassle free, and the booking team were all extremely helpful. The food and drinks packes are very reasonable, and to a very high standard. The staff at the venue on the night were very attentive, friendly, and a pleasure to deal with. The venue itself is amazing, and had a great atmosphere. No real decorating was required, given the room was so perfect already. All our guests commented on how brilliant the venue was, and we would all highly recommend Yolo for a private function. Thanks again to all the staff!

Stylish bar that offers a place to have a drink or something to eat in cosy surroundings. Definitely recommend this city centre bar.

Sat down at 3:30 for 1 hour 30 mins brunch. Waitresses prioritised other tables - got 1st drinks at 3:50 - service finished 5pm on the dot. Had to go to the bar to get refill drinks Complained about losing 20 mins - got given 1 bottle between 15. Food was good

Our first time here for drinks. Thoroughly enjoyed it. Great location. We will be back. A good stop off point surrounded by other bars and restaurants

Would like to say a massive thank you to all the staff at yolo for making my wife’s 50th birthday a one to remember. They went above and beyond to make sure everything went brilliantly well . In particular a special thank you to Stacy for her excellent customer service

Lovely pub great music but unpleasant experience in the toilets when lady aggressively screams at us all to quote on quote “GET OUT MID STREAM”. Baring in mind we were all cubicles not causing any problems simply using the facilities. I understand the pub was just closing but there was no need for that tone or level of aggression. Really disappointing experience sadly won’t return.

Good food and affordable price.

Visited here on a weekend away with friends and what a great find. Food was super and tremendous value for money,no wonder it was full,also super service for the attentive staff. Brilliant night

Great Atomsphere good indie tunes, 2 for £7 Neck Oil on a school night carnt go wrong!

Quite enjoy the music in here and the drink selection isn't too bad, don't think drink prices were over the top either. Not the biggest bar in terms of seating but one of the nicer ones along that way and good blues, 70s and chill music.

Went on a Friday night and there were less than 10 of us in there so it completely ruined the atmosphere, which was a shame because the music was good and the place looked like it would have a great vibe if there were more people there.

Fab shop , top class service and great coffee which is far better than the big three commercial ones. Try there coffee of the day very worth the visit..they also do tea too and coffee to take away and brew at home

If I could give 10 stars I would give 12 stars 😎

My wife booked Yolo for a surprise reproposal party... They went above and beyond for this party... I can't say enough about how wonderful they made our night... Thank you to everyone involved.

We only came for a few drinks on a night out but I’ll definitely be back again! The staff are welcoming and helpful - one member of staff offered to take photos of our group - the drinks are great prices and the cocktails are lovely. Not to mention the place itself is beautiful!

TV signal is about as useful as a chocolate fireplace. Do not watch live sport here. Couldn’t be worse😂Honestly, you could get better signal on the moon. Absolutely unequivocally shocking.

Booked a bottomless brunch for 6 people only 5 could make it but we had the best time in very lovely surroundings. Staff were all very friendly and took time to explain to us how it works - prosecco was delicious and bottles were replaced very quickly once finished, and the food was delicious I could not fault it. We have all agreed we will definitely be going back again soon. Thank you Yolo for a lovely experience

Cool bar, really like the feel of this place. Came here a few times and never been disappointed yet. Service is really quick and you don't seem to get an idiots in there. The upstairs is decorated really unique too which adds to the ambience.

First visit for Bottomless Brunch with my sister and niece on 6 December and we were all very impressed with the food and fizz! The staff were brilliant and looked after us very well. Absolutely brilliant service and would highly recommend a visit here. We will definitely be back

Nice place with great music, the atmosphere can be a bit quiet however but all in all good! They have a great selection of draft beers although the price seems to vary (not sure if they do a deal day) but nice place all in all.

We hired out the snug booth for a group booking and the service was fantastic. We ordered a drinks and food package and the food was good and portions incredibly generous. Great cocktails and service added to the night. Would definitely recommend.

Thanks to yolo making this event amazing. We had our own bar and a member of staff with us at all times. They had blankets out for us and the place set up great. I would highly recommend to book this place out.

Cheapest pints in Newcastle if you go at the right time (Sunday-Thursday if I remember correctly) really enjoy the decor and the staff are sound. Really nice experience!

Gorgeous cocktails that come in the coolest of ways; a miniature bottle of booze plonked into a can of pop, upside down, so the more you drink the more booze flows through the can.

More orange than blue, floor was made of wax from non renewable sources and the sauce was made from wax of non refloorable news

We loved this quirky bar with fantastic music albeit on a low volume. Spending a night out in Newcastle was a bit lacking until we found this bar. The gentleman behind the bar was so helpful and accommodating (Canadian chap). Wish we had stumbled upon this place earlier in the evening as it was cosy , welcoming, good beer price and friendly staff. Once we get back to some form of normality our plan is to go back and have a great night here.
