Staying nearby for the weekend. Friendly welcome by the guys at the bar, pub was quite busy which is often a good sign! It’s only wood fired pizzas on menu but we knew that and we love pizza so not a problem 😀 Lovely pizzas and Greek salad, good value too. Their ciders and Perry really god too.

We came for the Summer Soree Weekend. Honestly it was fab. Great music inside & out throughout the day & night. Booked in for the Cider Tasting which was insightful & well worth the extra few ££. Would recommend the Wine & Beer ones too… Oh and the food is epic. Homemade wood fired pizza & triple cooked chips and those Sunday Wraps are absolutely worth coming back for on their own. Staff were all friendly. Can’t rate this place highly enough!

Though slightly shabby sheek on the inside, this pub has a wonderful atmosphere, is warm and welcoming and serves up great value food. The menu was along the lines of the the Monty Python Spam spam, span sketch only in this case it was burgers burgers burgers. They only sold Bergers on that particular night. An absolute belter of a village Pub! We visited here last Friday evening as we were staying in the village for the weekend, they were serving freshly cooked pizzas all evening. we called ahead and placed our order. On arrival we were greeted by the Publican who took the time to tell us about the pub and the Cider farm associated with it. we had an opportunity to sample some of their many Ciders! We took a table in the bar and there were a wide selection of pub and board games to play whilst we were waiting for dinner. We didn't have to wait long because our pizzas arrived promptly and were delicious. Drinks and food were very reasonably priced and the atmosphere was just perfect. After dinner, Martin, the third generation Cider apple farmer treated us to a personal tour and talk in the Cider shop. We then walked off dinner with a stroll through the farm orchards. A cracking evening all round, good food, good cider and great hosts.

Stayed on the campsite for a weekend in February, most other campsites are closed at that time of year so was great to find one that was open with facilities. We paid £44 for 2 nights on a hard standing pitch with EHU- 2 people and 2 dogs. The toilets and shower were immaculate. Only a 5 min drive to ross on wye town, we parked next to the river on the Saturday morning did a lovely walk along the river and into the town. It was a 6 nations weekend so was looking for a campsite with a pub near by to watch the game so this campsite was perfect for that, both games were being shown on the Friday (even though the England game wasn’t on until the Sunday) The pub was small but cosy and traditional, huge array of drinks (beers, coders and gin’s) on offer and reasonably priced. The pizza kitchen in the pub was awesome, top notch pizza! Overall, lovely campsite, great price, clean and great location with a fab pub. Would stay again!

Quite a long wait for the pizza but sincere apologies & thanked several times for our patience. Not sure the locals like outsiders, we were waiting at the bar for our table & a lady pushed in front of us. Not the best first impression but not the fault of the pub although they must have seen we had been waiting. Prices very reasonable. Huge range of beer & cider. Well worth a visit as long as you like pizza as nothing else on the menu.

The beer was good. It was off putting to see large England flags flying always wonder what statement that is making...but we didnt notice until we had paid 2 nights camping. The biggest disappointment was no evening meals... we must have hit lucky last time we camped here... they appear to serve meals on pie thursday and lunchtimes... camping area ok but noisy by the road and there was one child that never stopped shouting.. as we were hoping for pub food we prob wont come again as there are cheaper pub campings with food near by and hopefully better behaved children and less flags. The camping facilities are good and site is generally well kept but there was broken glass about.

We were at Ross on Wye Cider and Perry for cider tasting with cider maker Albert and at Yew Tree Inn Peterstow, for lunch. The wonderful variety of fine ciders stand out as among the very best in the region and definitely gives you good examples of what cider is about. Definitely a locals pub , with decor best described as rustic but a warm welcome for all We had the pie and pint deal which was worth every penny, reduction in price given if soft drinks preferred Note for first timers get there early on pie night as was crowded at 630Ordering is done at the bar and was bit chaotic but food and staff made up for that minor inconvenience

I stopped in here for a ploughmans lunch and was delighted to find the place was like pubs used to be, my ploughmans had chunks of bread and cheese, plus big pickled onions, an apple and a decent salad, local ham is included if you eat meat, as is a piece of delicious Xmas cake ... NOT served on a piece of slate, etc but a plate The bar is well kept, the bar staff very friendly and accommodating, as it was cold I ended up having a hot mug of herbal tea, nothing seems to be too muchThe choice of cider is possibly the best in the country, most are stored in an outbuilding, there are so many, if you like cider get someone to drive you hereI now make a point of calling in here if I'm within 15 miles just for the lunch and the company

We walked to the pub as it was near to my friends house, where I was staying. There is ample car parking off the road. We were given a warm cheerful welcome when we walked in.We were there kn a Wednesday evening, their 'pie and a pint for a tenner' night, what good value for money. There was a selection of draught cider, beer or lager available. There were three choices, including one vegetarian. I ordered the cottage pie, it came served by more friendly staff. My plate was full, the pie was served with julienne strips of fresh carrotts and courgettes. I had a job to eat t all, but as it was so good I wasn't going to leave any. There were about five home made puddings, including a fruit crumble, sticky toffee, and a delicious chocolate mousse laced with brandy. I couldn't quite finish the chocolate mousse, it was luxurious, but beat me! A dessert added only four pounds to the bill, again such good value for money. We left to a cheerful goodbye and promised we'd be back. Soon.If you're looking for good, simple home made food then this is the place to go.

First time to the Yew Tree, and it won't be our last. We were greeted with a welcoming friendly atmosphere. The kitchen serve good portions of excellent and well presented food. I had a scrumptious 'lamb and apricot Moroccan pie' made with the best homemade pastry I've had for years, followed by a mouth watering 'creme caramel'. All the food is fresh and made on the premises, We were a party of four, and everyone was impressed. I would recommend this restaurant if you are visiting the Ross-on-wye area, but make sure you are early as service starts at 6pm and the tables fill up quickly (plus you can't reserve unless you are a group of 8+)!

Wednesday Night ~ Pie & a PintYou have to get there early on a Wednesday Night to get the full selection of 'Pies' on offer, but you still won't be disappointed with the quality of the (homemade) mouth watering fare thats available. The locals know to get there early; if it patronised and supported by the local population, you know you can be sure of a good treat. The pub is small and welcoming to strangers abound, and if you are a cider conousare (you are in for treat also), as all the cider is produced on the landlords very own orchard at Broome farm. Excellent value and great food!!

Such a great pub. The staff are so friendly & accommodating. Always a great selection of beers on tap & the infamous award winning ciders. Last night I had the most delicious haddock & prawn pie. It came with roast butternut squash, peppers & fennel all perfectly cooked. It's simple food done very very well. One of my favourite things about this pub is how welcoming it is to all including your furry friends. Great atmosphere & come a Friday night, great music. Looking forward to the next acoustic session this Sunday.

Had intentions and eagerness to visit Kiki’s for the first time after finding it online. Drinks were lovely. Mocha was a perfect warming beverage for the rainy day. Partner enjoyed his tuna panini soo much he ordered another! Staff are incredible and comforting when speaking to. A friendly environment with the occasional doggies!

Popped in to meet with a friend. I decided on breakfast and had poached eggs on toast with smashed avocado and bacon. It was superb. Good coffee too.
