Ye Olde Hob Inn in South Ribble

Booked a table for lunch for a family members 93rd birthday. Was promptly served with drinks and our order taken. Just after a party of 8 people arrived. They were served with their food before us. The waitress told us that they had pre ordered their food when she heard us talking about this. An hour later we received our food, which is unacceptable and the standard of the food was very disappointing. I feel that it spoiled what should have been a special celebration. We shan’t be visiting again, after being customers since 1995.

A hidden gem ! Stopped by this pub on a sunny afternoon and was thoroughly impressed. The beer garden is a real highlight, spacious, relaxed, and perfect for enjoying a drink outdoors. I had a lovely gin from their impressive selection; there’s no shortage of choice when it comes to alcohol here. The staff were warm, welcoming, and genuinely friendly, which made the whole experience even better. Definitely a spot I’ll be returning to!

Couple of well kept cask ales on First time here for food. Everything spot on. Slightly expensive for food but it is home cooked so worthwhile

This pub has got a bit scruffy but last time we called the tables were clean and it was unusually quiet for a Wednesday teatime. Usual Wetherspoon fare and busy but friendly staff. Worth a visit for the good value.
