Wok&GO in Nottingham

While eating my combo box I was tasting a strange chemical taste but continued nether less. I’ve suffered appalling stomach cramps 4 hours after eating here and regular visits to the toilet. I shall not eat at this place again,

The food was inedible, used to love a hot box from wok and go. Definitely not the same recipe. Please avoid the food that is awful….

Ordered on a night shift. Ordered 3 meals and only got two sent. Restaurant refused to refund. Food we did receive was poor.

I used to visit Wok&Go a lot in the past but on my first visit back after a while I was so disappointed with the quality of food and taste. Not sure what audience they are cooking for but the half bottle of soya sauce in my combo box killed all other flavour and ruined my meal. The other box was the chicken curry but this was again lacking flavour, so poor!

Been going here for years and great food but today was just crazy. Asked for a hot box and the cook made the wrong box twice and had to start again. I asked for no pork which is a simple request, no, start eating my food and yes, pork looking right at me. Went back to the staff and there was an Asian man, yes making Chinese food. Was so so rude, said it was beef not pork. I know what pork looks like and tastes like. This guy was so so rude, like a hood man. Nah man this, nah man that. Don't go here, it's nasty. Terrible customer service. You can't bring hood man attitude to work

I ordered the vegan lunchtime combo on the Deliveroo app (as I don’t eat meat or dairy) and when it arrived the main part or the meal which was meant to be a vegan teriyaki box was wrong, it had what looked like beef and chicken in it and was definitely the wrong box as it also had pineapple in it. I was unable to eat it and had to throw it away. I tried to ring to see if there was anyway they could refund me or correct this (as I had also had to pay for delivery fees for the driver) but they didn’t pick up. Additionally they don’t have an email address. I am really disappointed and would like a refund.

Been using here for years, can honestly say I'm in love with the hot box, they've changed there sizes recently which I'm not a fan of but the foods consistent and I'm never disappointed. Great location and can get delivery from the other location

If I’m paying good money for chicken wings I atleast expect more than 4 tiny little wings and some sause to improve the flavour. It was truly a disgraceful portion with no taste. Other members had self choose boxes which were tiny portions too leaving us all hungry at the end. But it’s ok there’s a Burger King to make up for it. Avoid ppl it’s a rip off and tasteless food. SCOTT the foodie!

Terrible flavourless pho and obviously oven cooked unauthentic spring rolls. The pho tastes salty and of nothing. It looks nothing like the photos on Deliveroo. Avoid at all costs.

I've been in Nottingham from past few months and I've tried almost each and every food item in Nottingham. Today i visited Wok and Go Noodlebar and it is best place to eat noodles. They've a great menu including veg food, sea food and chicken too. Even their side menu includes spring rolls, dumplings, chips and so on. I ordered classic vegan box and it was very delicious with fresh vegetables and spongy tofu coated by veg soya sauce and penang curry. In side i took spring rolls and it was fresh fried and mouth watering. Next time i plan to visit it with my friends. Thank you to the team wok and go for the great food and awesome services. Hope to visit it soon

I have been to wok for my meeting and me and my client had a lunch over there. I must say it’s was quick and superb noodles served in matter of time. Test was superb and staff was very polite and friendly and suggested the option which is good and vegan options are good too with vegan sides(Spring Rolls). Definitely this is the place for good food and meeting friendly environment. Future place for meetings and lunch.

This place has really gone downhill, avoid at all costs. Hot box always used to be banging but on the last 3 visits it's been 99% rice/noodles with about 3 pieces of flavourless meat/veg, even when paying for double meat. Will not be returning.

Ordered sweet and sour box. Chicken was not crispy like it said it would be and there was no flavour

We bought 2 make your owns. Both with added pineapple, peppers and broccoli at an additional 90p each. Got about 3 pieces of pineapple, one slice of pepper and 2 pieces of broccoli in each box. Unsure why there is an option to pay for additional veg if you’re not receiving it.

Absolutely atrocious food from here, actually revolting ruined a trip for me and my family deciding on eating from here, £35 down the drain.. I’ve eaten at many places of this type and this has to be the worst I have encountered.

Llegamos aquí a la hora del almuerzo a mitad de semana, bastante tranquilo y lloviendo afuera. Pedí un gran cuadro combinado. Muy buena comida caliente hecha a pedido. Elija una caja prediseñada o elija fideos, cobertura y salsa por separado. Solo esperó de 4 a 5 minutos para que se cocinara. Encantador y caluroso para un frío y húmedo día de invierno. Didn't even get to eat! Advertised to close at 2200, went in at 2140, got told they weren't cooking anymore and basically got shoved out of the door. Have been to Wok&Go; before and rated their food. Never, ever again. Just rude!

After visiting many eateries like this place, we have rarely ever been disappointed by the food we’ve had. We thought this place would be no different to the other wok or noodle bars we regularly go to. Me and my partner both decided upon the vegan tofu and veg mix box with soba noodles with teriyaki sauce. Something we have had before at previous places. However on this occasion, the food tasted incredibly salty to the point it was actually making me feel sick. We paid extra for the tofu and veg but found there was hardly any filling but just a box packed with noodles. And what veg and tofu we did have was awful. Soggy and salty! My partner managed to eat his despite how awful it was but I asked for a refund and was told I was unable to get one but could instead order a different box. I no longer wanted the food as it wouldn’t have mattered what other box I’d have chosen. The veg and tofu would have still been disgusting! I didn’t pay £8 for a box of salty noodles and tiny slimy sheds of veg and soggy tofu! I was still refused a refund and told I had to order a different box instead so I was really annoyed by this! Don’t feel I was treated very fairly! Wanted a refund but forced to order more food instead as a replacement which I still wasn’t going to eat! Certainly won’t be revisiting this place again!

Go here all the time. Food is always amazing - would definitely recommend to anyone who loves noodles! Food is quick, never had to wait for too long. Staff are friendly! Seating areas are always kept clean.

hadn’t visited in a while so took the chance to go in and grab something while on my break. all i ordered was fried rice, it took about 25 minutes to get to me. Upon eating this rice i had found out from a friend that used to work at this branch that although stated as veggie, oyster sauce is used within in making in not veggie. I though this was ridiculous and i’m very unhappy with my visit. Not only that but my order was made as a small box rather than a medium meaning i missed out on food and money

Not been to this branch before I was very impressed, food was good I had the hotbox my friend had something called a Nasi. He didn’t like that one but they changed it to a Nasi seafood as that was fit

I asked for a vegetarian singapore noodle box. As I was on my lunch break I did not eat in the restaurant. By the time I got back to work, I opened my box to find CHICKEN! I was disgusted and so upset because I could have eaten it without realising. What a waste of money!!!!

I order a Pad Thai box saying I am alergic to soya and they gave me a box filled with bean sprouts and when I complained the waitress told me “this is what comes with a Pad Thai Box.

A box full of Noodles, no flavour and hardly any chicken. The wife had a different selection that was equally as bad. £23.00 including drinks and a side dish. Poor value. I won't be going back.

Food from Wok and Go is not worth the money anymore. Unprofessional staff, they don’t know what they are doing. For example, if you give them special instructions such as no pork and beef in a sweet chilli box they ignore that and you get the unwanted pork and beef. The noodles are dry with barely any sauce if any, or you have too much sauce which is basically inedible. It is better eating in so that you can make complaints straight away, but if you get the food as a take away you can just put the food straight into the bin.

Enjoyed lunch yesterday in this restaurant and was a great experience. Excellent food. Its the first time I have tried this type of cuisine and was impressed by the excellent quality of food at this restaurant. Nice decor in this restaurant and very friendly service too. I will definitely visit this restaurant again.

Been here half a dozen times after going to the Arena . Always had good, hot food which you can see being cooked . Thai Green Curry with Udon noodles is my regular . My partner goes for the hot box .

Lo siento por la novela. Chester wok & go fue mi restaurante favorito hace 6 años, los mejores fideos que he tenido. Siempre con mucha carne y salsas con un montón de verduras. Se alejó, probé montones de fideos, toda la basura. Finalmente tuve la suerte de visitar un lugar con un wok & go y pensó "finalmente, NOODLES". Me preguntaron si podría tener un cuadro combinado pero fideos de arroz y chili dulce en su lugar. ¿Y podría mi novio tener cacahuetes en su por favor? El personal dijo que no hay problema en absoluto. Lo tengo en casa y me decepcionó amargamente. Puré, fideos de arroz sobre cocidos. Los "fideos de arroz" solían ser fideos de arroz de cinta gruesa. Este lío de almidón sin sabor tenía poca o ninguna salsa, casi nada de brócoli, cerdo asado mínimo, y la carne estaba llena de grizzle. Bf es insípido, pero al menos no era una caja de almidón blanda (no había cacahuetes adentro, le dieron una tina separada de cacahuetes enteros). Me obligué a comer la mitad por los viejos tiempos. Tal vez bf se lo coma. Claro, los lugares pueden cambiar con el tiempo, pero ahora es la misma basura inglesa que puedes comprar en cualquier otro lugar, excepto que son mucho más caras. Ya no hay alma en ello. No volveré a ir.

Used to be good for quick lunch or takeaway but the quality has gone down. I Hope that they look in to it because I used to go there a lot.

Tristemente, olvidé mi teléfono y no pude tomar ninguna foto. TOH estaba fuera, así que tuve que arreglármelas solo. Fue en una húmeda noche de lunes justo después de las 6 que llegué, así que no estaba demasiado ocupado. Elegí la caja mediana Pad Thai y 4 rollitos de primavera de verduras y una salsa dulce de chile. Me alegro de haber tenido la caja mediana muy llena de hecho. Estaba bien tal vez un poco salado para mi gusto, pero está bien. Los rollos de verduras eran muy agradables y crujientes. En general, estaba bien, debo decir que me impresionó el servicio.

i walked into this fine establishment one quiet saturday evening at 3am where the very patient staff gave me a delicious meal of meegee which was most outstanding, in conclusion the meegee was most delicious

Im a veggie and was more than pleased with not only the quantity but the tastes and textures of the food which was piping hot and delivered on time by polite and courteous staff.

I ordered on Deliveroo, I don’t normally leave reviews but I was really impressed with the delivery time and my food arrived hot and was really nice. I also had a mixed platter and really enjoyed the sides. I liked that it wasn’t greasy for a take away so I didn’t feel guilty after eating it, it also came in cool boxes so no dishes! I will definitely order again!

I was visiting family in Nottingham and saw this place as I was walking on my way to get the train home. What a pleasant surprise, I was greated by friendly staff, food was cooked in an open kitchen which is always good and my food was ready in five mins. Considering how quick it was the food was hot and tasty and I really enjoyed it! I will be checking on their website to see if I have one near by!

I ordered from Deliveroo a few nights ago and was extremely surprised with the quality of the food! Everything I ordered was cooked to perfection and I got everything I asked for(something that doesn't always happen with takeaways), and was vegetarian as requested. For the price you get a lot for your money. Good food and delivered on time. Thumbs up!!

Yes! So happy they have brought the large boxes back. Food is always cooked fresh and tastes great and staff are nice. My mate is vegan and now they have new boxes for vegetarians as well so today you have two happy customers!

Average noodles at a good price when they did the "two for Tuesday deal" (241), this has not unfortunately gone up in price to nearly double at "£10 Tuesdays". Did the job for an office lunch treat but can be slow when there's a queue.

I have been coming to wok&go; since I was a student in Nottingham. The friendly staff bring me back, I noticed a few new faces and was worried but the new manager is just as lovely as the old manager and the service is always quick and the food tastes great! My favourite is the mee gee seafood with no chlli flakes! Never disappointed with this place!

I ordered tofu noodles to take away, and received my order (tofu, mushroom and pineapple) with chicken and pork in it, but only realised once we were home. Really not happy!

Ordered beef teriyaki noodles and they came with zero sauce...asked them to put more sauce in and the chef pretended to put more in. I saw him and told the guy at the till who tried to lie and say they had put sauce in. I had to beg him to put some sweet chilli sauce in because the noodles were barely edible. Bad service and bad food don’t waste your ££

Prix raisonnable mais ça n'en vaut pas le coup. ça baigne dans le gras, on peut voir le jus au fond de la boîte et ça dégouline des noodles. Tout ça pour un goût loin d'être fameux.

Two for One on Tuesday's is a good option for lunch if you have a friend or colleague to go with. Service is the quickest but there's a good choice and decent enough food at the end of it. Not the best Asian take away convince food but by no means the worst.

Ordered a meal deal with drink, 2 spring rolls and 1 box of sweet and sour rice with chicken. There was barely any chicken in the box and the 'sweet and sour sauce' just tasted like pure vinegar. Spring rolls were OK. £8 is quite a rip off considering that I could barely bring myself to eat any of the rice. Disappointing.

It was my second visit I thought I'll give it a go. First time was even worse than now. £8 for tasteless box of noodle pasta with 2 prawns, 3 tiny pieces of chicken and no sauce (requested teriyaki).Its a bit overpriced don't you think?... For the same price you can go to Cosmo and get proper meal!

Unlike some recent reviews, I found the place bright, cheery, busy, and the food was excellent. Service was prompt and efficient.

The food was very average and the service was really really really really bad as in bad no smile not made to feel welcome at all would never return to eat here again I was expecting better but it just didn't feel welcoming and when I got back and tried the food honestly my own cooking is so much better than this may aswel make myself

Eventually got round to trying Wok to Go for lunch. Speedy service, cooked to order so worth the wait of about 10 mins. Food very hot and fresh. Good selection, I would imagine something for everyones' taste. Great offer on Tuesdays 2 for 1 so that was a nice surprise. Cannot understand the negative remarks. This is not a restaurant, it is a fast food place and very nice too!

Szczerze to spodziewalam sie czegos lepszego. Bardzo duzo makaronu troche mieaa w za durzych kawalkach I nie dogotowanych jak na wok. Brak warzyw. Jedyny plus to mila obsluga.

Vi blev, af medarbejderen, anbefalet at bestille Padthai, idet den indeholdt flere grønsager, som desværre ikke var sandt!Retten havde intet med den ægte Padthai at gøre og nudlerne var hakket til ukendelighed under stegningen. Portionerne var god størrelse og mættende, men smagen var desværre jævn og kedelig.Ellers var der pænt og rent og betjeningen høflig og effektiv.

It took 20 minutes just to take the orders of the three people in front of me in line. They somehow were out of peppers, even though there is a supermarket right next-door. It took 45 minutes to get my box, which means they managed to deliver a single order about every 10 minutes. When I did get the box, it was missing 2 ingredients, broccoli and fish cakes. I was told I that they were too busy to fix it and I'd have to get in the queue (which was now 3 times longer than the one I first waited in) to reorder. I asked to get my money back instead of waiting for over an hour, and she told me I needed to wait in the queue just to get a refund. I raised a ruckus and finally got a refund. Btw, the 2 forkfulls I had while digging for broccoli were beyond bland.

Just nipped in before we went home. Got told by the girl serving will be a minute. She then spent not 3 mins scanning receipts in. Then she vanished off and started boxing up, I was Told I'll be a min. After another 3-4 mins I walked out and went to another noodle bar, in and out in 5 mins. You have a lot of catching up in the customer service department in afraid.,

Have not been for quite some time and there is a new menu available. We had the prawn crackers which are always nice with a bit of a kick to them. The new Thai Green Curry box was delicious, the veg a little over cooked, but for what it is (a quick meal in a box) it was good. The hot & sour pork soup was a huge disappointment and we won't be having that again!!

Not my first choice, but have visited often with friends. Food often leaves me with a nasty taste in my mouth and stomach pains, very salty. Despite this, the staff are always very friendly and the place is well kept and clean. Shame about the food.

My partner and myself pretty much walked in and out again. My partner needed to use the toilet so I grabbed a table and waited for his return. The area area it's self is a bit dodgy, surfaces are sticky, grubby. when my partner returned he told me there was dead cockroaches in the toilets. We left immediately.

So utterly disappointed been using this place for years but today will be my last visit! Took 6 minutes to get served, they'd only been open for 6 minutes. Wasn't told that they didn't have part of the ingredients for my create your own box until I'd paid £12.15!!!!! and had been sat waiting for a good few minutes, anyway the guy was delivering the ingredients. Half an hour later I asked for them to make it regardless of the lack of peppers They gave me 80p back Oh and they're right opposite a Sainsbury's which probably had a couple of peppers Fire cracker prawns too hard to enjoy Noodles had the wrong sauce hardly any beansprouts no carrots virtually no onions And all through this time the door was left wide open for the comfort of the delivery guy Appalling

been here numerous times and can always guarantee great, fresh, hot food. they do a wide range from full on meat eaters to vegans. Prawn crackers and spring rolls are really good too :D

I'm shocked really, How long does it take to make noodles? I've been into the shop and it's been cooked in minutes. Waiting almost two hours is a joke..After an hour of waiting we rang up and asked what was going on and the man on the phone said the driver would be with us in 10 mins.20 mins passed and still no sign so I rang up again and he said he would find out where the driver was, again he said he was 10 mins away. He obviously just made that up because the driver didn't arrive until just under half an hour later. The food wasn't hot when it arrived and to be honest it wasn't anything special. Next time we ring up we will apparently get a discount and we have to ring up tomorrow because there was no one in to give us any money off. What a joke! - I don't think we will be coming here again.

Shocking service, orders take a lengthly time to make even when they Are minute orders. Staff are always miserable and don't look like they have a club what they are doing . You shouldn't have to wait 20 minutes for some noodles

Filthy weather and a desire for Asian food we dove into Wok & Go for a quick eat rather than get soaked trying to find a restaurant. The attraction of a cheap meal was also top of the agenda after a busy day Christmas shopping! First impression was that they had stopped taking orders as I stood at counter for at least 5 mins watching the only member of staff on view cleaning the work surfaces. Turned out this was an early introduction to the quality of service. Call me old fashioned but a smile, a hello and how can I help wouldn't go a miss. Acted slightly irritated when I ask for chop sticks....."don't have any" isn't this an Asian fast food restaurant and no chop sticks! Food was average at best. Yes it was hot so freshly cooked but hot dish with egg noddles very greasy with limited ingredients....plenty of noodles though. Panko Prawns had half with missing prawns and Pad Thai a very loose imitation. Previous reviews have said this place has to "up its game" and I have to agree.

We fancied quick bite to eat so popped in here before out on town...so glad we did! Great choice of dishes with noodles or rice and different size boxes served in! Free refills on draught soft drinks....No wonder is popular place! Food is cooked great - you can see it being done by serving area!

Visited here late on a Friday night and ordered to take out. We had a mixed noodle box and extra deep fried dumplings and prawns both were excellent. Great concept and we will be returning.

Let's be right about his place, the noodles are pretty nasty but in an oddly satisfying way, I had the NAS which I translate as a take on Nasi Goreng the Indonesian classic. The rating was three on the hot scale.There was no spice heat in anyway, the noodles had been cooked in a very greasy wok and the egg and Pork limited, there was a healthy number of prawns thought. That being said they tasted kinda good but in a very guilty pleasure sort of way. I would not eat them again for lunch but at 3 am I would be tempted after a few beers.... alas those days are behind me so that's not going to happen.As a reflection of Asian food I was disappointed hence my average rating but as something I oddly enjoyed that saved it from a poor rating. FYI people are waking up to bad interpretations of Asian food and at 7 pounds for a large container you might need to up your game

A quick walk around town on a Friday, working in the city you get bored of the same lunches day in day out, Often I've walked past Wok&Go and ventured to other places instead, But as I was alone today and wanted something warm and quick I decided to try it out.The Place looks new inside with light and clean decor, leather esq seats for the diners and neon menu signs for your orders. I have to say I went into Wok&Go at 2.30pm and it was empty, not a single other diner in there. I decided to have a pre made meal which was the Beef In Black Bean sauce box, size small for £5.25 it was a good size although a little expensive in my opinion, I think its one of those places that encourage you to upgrade with smaller price increases to larger boxes.I have to say the food was very nice, good flavour and speedy service, it tasted fresh and warm which is what I wanted, Id go again, and happily recommend!

Visited here after a few drinks out on a Saturday night, very surprised to see that it was open until 3am. A nice surprise instead of having the morning regret of eating a pizza takeaway! I had the sweet n sour chicken noodles which were great. The portion size of the box was very good and good value for money. They remained warm throughout the whole box. However, I also ordered the chicken spring rolls which were priced at £3.20 and I only got 4 tiny ones in a box. Very disappointing and overpriced. Would recommend the noodles for a filling lunch or even after a night out, but would not recommend the spring rolls as they are overpriced

I come here all the time with my sister for something quick to eat. The service is always good. The wait for the food is only 5-10 minutes. This place never disappoints me. The food is always cooked to order and fresh.

Food was really tasty and moreish but took ages to get the food. Some of the tables were not wiped and food was on the floor. The choice of food is good but really quite pricey for a weekday lunch. It was lovely to see the food being cooked in front of you nice and fresh and love the boxes but the food was way too hot. I had to wait 20 minutes for it to cool enough to eat and steam was coming off and my first attempt to eat ended in a burnt tongue. The top food in the box was ok but as you got to the centre of the standard medium size box of pad Thai udon noodles it was boiling even with stirring.Went to the toilet but didn't use it. It is one room shared gender, really disgusting. Sticky floor, dirty walls, dirty tiny sink and the lid was up and covered in filth....yuk.

Haven't had wok and go for about a year. Got one and won't be going back any time soon. Far too much soy sauce (the noodles were dark) two pieces of veg, 4 prawns and three pieces of chicken (large box). If it wasn't for the fact I had a distance to travel, I would have taken it back. On top of the lack of ingredients, it was tasteless.

Can always find good food in Wok&go, they are good with Noodles, probably because you can see there are asian people cooking, so is probably why is good.And happy that is being refurnished, now look way better.

Been there lot of times.The food is so tasty same big portion all the time,but different quality - between the good and the excellent.Even I can find a dish for myself when I don't like a hot and spicy food.

I'm so upset because I wasn't feeling well and I craved a spicy soup to help with my tonsils. I ordered the soup with the fish and vegetables. Instead, I got a big pot of noodles with no soup, there was probably a drizzle of liquid at the bottom of the pot. Flavour wise it tasted nice but I'm so disappointed. I didn't even finish the meal.

Easy, fast, not many options but... is a WOK. :) Service sometimes is a little bit rude, but you can understand that is a fast-food place that sometime get really busy. Anyway, fast and good nooddles

I've been a couple of times.While it's a very basic cafe style interior, it's also in the heart is Nottingham, opens late, is excellent value (£5-7), and is tasty! The staff always seem nice, they are efficient, and the food is FAST. So long as you don't mind searching out if a box, it's really convenient, nutritious, and enjoyable.
