Wok&Go in Cheshire West and Chester

Noodles WAY overcooked, giving a delightful sludgy consistency, 1 piece of beef, 1 of chicken, that I could identify, 2 pieces broccoli (no other identifiable veg bar 4-5 sad and lonely beansprouts, and one piece of flaccid spring onion), spongy egg throughout and a number of small, rather sour, peculiar pieces of 'mystery meat'. Way below even average, if this was a primary school project, it would have red pen all over it, and 'MUST TRY HARDER, SEE ME.' at the bottom. Just don't bother, frankly. There are places doing better food for under a tenner a stones throw away.

Prices have gone up portion size is smaller noodles greasy and no broccoli three pieces of chicken two pieces of beef one piece of pork the rest was dirty looking spongy egg never returning unless new cooks/management

Ordered the black bean box and all I can say it was average. The noodles and sauce were tasty but the crispy chicken was horrid. Shredded chicken would have been better. The lady serving wasn't the friendliest either.

So, I arrive here having downloaded the app,ordered a regular seafood mee gee box. The lady who served me had no idea about the app, and when I asked her why I couldn't have a stamp for my order, she said she only deals in the paper kind. When I asked for that, she said she didn't have any!!! What pathetic service!

We had been looking forward to a wok & go for a while,we ordered 2combo boxes & plain egg noodle & chicken, we requested teriyaki sauce in all 3 boxes, there was absolutely no flavour, completely bland, which made us feel sick & waste the meal, there was more noodles than veg & meat, on the receipt it stated teriyaki sauce in all 3, a waste of money won’t be going again.

The food quality seems to be gone down from the previous visit. There’s is no balanced on the food. I had Singa Box but too much sauce and only a few ingredients inside, looks very wet.I blame the chef who’s cooking there.Maybe need proper chinese chef or Thai chef to do the job well.

Ordered two hot boxes - nothing hot about them, absolutely no flavour. Also contained seafood which wasn't detailed on the menu (could be dangerous if you have a seafood allergy). Boxes came cold. Asked for chopsticks - got one set despite the order clearly being for two. Avoid and order the noodle boxes from Kens Kitchen Chester instead.

Une bonne adresse si vous voulez manger sur le pouce. Dans une salle assez petite (il est donc préferable de prendre à emporter), ce lieu nous propose une carte complète et assez accessible. Les portions sont généreuses donc n'ayez pas les yeux plus gros que le ventre. Les goûts sont présents, compensant un personnel pas spécialement aimable.

Usually go the one up the road but tried this one today with the same result. Quality food at great price. The portions are huge and even the small is like a full Chinese from the chippy.

DON’T GO!! Really bad wok and super unfriendly service. Hannah is the most racist person I’ve ever meet. If you want to have more customers please improve the food taste and pay Hannah a training! She really needs to improve her manners...

My friends and I visit Wok&Go frequently, I have dietary needs and most of my friends are vegan or are very picky, however, there is something there for all of us. You have the opportunity to 'Build your own box" which means you can make sure that you enjoy your food and that there is nothing in the food that you cannot eat! I highly recommend this.

Ate here on way home from Wales and its definitely benefitted from the new management. Staff were great, food superb and great value, especially with kids eating for just £1 with paying adult. Can't wait to be back in Chester to eat here again.

Brilliant fresh food. Visited with friends. Not expensive, but fantastic fresh delicious food. I had the hot box, bargain at £6.50. Do it.

It was my second time visiting Wok&Go; and it is safe to say it will be the last. I made a large order and every single box was plain, oily and tasteless. I could not taste any flavour just plain, bland. The chicken was also not seasoned so the food was rather plain and unenjoyable. I would give no stars if I could. Awful experience. These pictures are about as much sauce as you will get for the whole meal!

The Veggie Hot box at wok and go is amazing - ~We have tried the Rice and Noodle versions and both are really good :) It is our new Friday treat !!

La comida era buena, pero una cosa realmente me molestó a mí ya mi pareja. La actitud de uno de los empleados. La señora que nos atendió fue encantadora, parecía que era nueva, así que parecía tener problemas con la caja fuerte, etc. Sin embargo, la manera en que uno de los chefs habló y le hizo un gesto hacia ella, frente a los clientes y otros miembros del personal, fue horrible.

Good spot for noodles, varied choice of options. Portion sizes are large but not the cheapest for a box of noodles. Pad Thai is good but don’t add peanuts as it’s a 50p charge for about 7 peanuts. Overall very enjoyable. Seating available also

I love wok and go don't get me wrong, but sometimes their quality can be awful. One day I asked for a Pad Thai which is not even spicy or include carrot in it and when I got home and opened my box all the noodles had in them was carrot and the noodles were so spicy I couldn't even eat them. I've given up going to the one in the city center in Chester! Love the one near the Cathedral tho, everyone is lovely and the cookers always do an amazing job!

Really enjoyed my Hot Box. Much nicer than the Foregate St branch.. very clean and tidy inside. Would recommend.

Been here a couple of times after a shopping spree for a pit stop. Every time we have been, we have had brilliant service, served quickly. A family member ordered the wrong item from the menu and they still swapped it no problem. Tasty and reasonable.

been to many wok and go resturaunts over the country. usualy good fast food. been to this one a few years ago and wasnt happy. seen as though its mad a make over and it under new management we thought why not. mistake. staff rude. no chop sticks and forks looked unclean. both orders appeared ok at time. later upon opening (did not eat in resturaunt) discovered both orders wrong. didnt bother to take back as we were pressed for time. noodles didnt taste right at all (2x singa boxes) tasted of grease. hardly any meat. specific requests ignored. lucky we didnt have a food allergy. would not reccomend at all.

Noodles, chicken, Asian veg and oyster sauce piping hot in a little box for £5.95. Difficult to beat for value and freshness.

Mushy all noodles broken bits, grissely meat. Panko prawns very greasey -tasted like old oil. Will not be going to another Wok and Go. Ovsr all lavor wasnt gfeat to be honest !

I'm a frequent visitor of Chester and I always go here. My friend who was my dining companion that evening is a student in Chester and also loyal to this branch of Wok&Go;, Let me start by saying that I've never had a bad meal experience here, and the food is always up the standards. However, I really think you should consider replacing some of your staff. Me and my friend both got our orders messed up - they fixed it and gave us new meals but they wasted a lot of our time. What's worse, we were met with a certain very impatient till worker when we last visited. He's repeatedly been rude to us when we've been there, in that he makes us feel like we're a nuisance for just placing an order. I'll be back but I expect them to improve. Not good enough!

Always my go to place after a day on the beers around Chester, quick service, huge portions and very tasty.

Los asientos son todos taburetes dentro de los cuales no podíamos estar siendo discapacitados, pero hay cosas normales. asientos y mesas afuera si quieres comer tu comida allí

Trabajando por una semana en Chester con otros compañeros de trabajo. Visité 5 días durante la semana para el almuerzo. El personal era amable y acogedor, la comida era genial. Se sirve fresco y cocinado rápidamente. La joven nos reconoció y nos ofreció una tarjeta de estampilla entre todos, terminó con 2 cajas gratis para nuestra visita el viernes. Definitivamente regresaría si estuviéramos en Chester, su personal es excelente.

Solo llamé para llevar. Comida terriblemente horrible! La caja de fideos clásica era desagradable, seco, fideos viejos y muy pocos otros ingredientes. La caja Classic Nasi era en su mayoría blanda, arroz insípido, verduras demasiado cocidas y viscosas. ¡Vamos a darle un giro a este lugar a partir de ahora! No malgastes tu dinero.

Fui a Wok & Go hoy por primera vez en meses. La caja regular sigue siendo grande para mí para terminar. Está fresco, hace calor y puedes ver qué tan limpia y abierta está la cocina. Había una chica nueva en la caja registradora que no estaba segura de cómo aplicar mi descuento, pero resolvió el problema rápidamente y fue amable al respecto. Siempre es difícil cuando eres nuevo y aprendes. Gracias por una comida deliciosa y un gran vientre lleno. No puedes equivocarte con un servicio rápido y comida fresca preparada justo en frente de usted! Realmente lo disfruté y siempre me encantó wok & ir Chester. ¡Seguid así! ?

Mi nueva oficina está a solo unas puertas de aquí, así que estaba intrigado por probar lo que Wok & Go tenía para ofrecer. I popped into Wok&Go; on my break from work and ordered a box and some spring rolls. The service was friendly and fast, the food even better (and good value for money) I’d not tried it here before and I can say for sure I will definitely be returning! :)

Came here because I love Asian food and this was amazing! They catered for me because I don’t like vegetables and literally did me plain rice and sauce! And they do student discount! Cheap price, good food and you get quite slot of it!

Popped in after work and was welcomed by two happy young girls. Asked how long the wait was, received my order in less than 10 minuets. I was offered a loyalty card to join which is definitely worth it. Food was hot even when we got it home. would definitely return, food was what you'd expect and the service was friendly and bubbly. Also a plus that kids eat free.

Visited on Friday evening, quite late. Staff were friendly and chatty and bought my food to the table. Food was nice and good value. Not been in a while but would definitely come back.

I grab a noodle box from here quite often, not bad value for money & food is tasty & freshly cooked, my only complaint is that there is never enough meat in the box for what yu pay.

Came in for some quick food to satisfy our noodle need. For the price the portion sizes are good and the food is tasty. Was just what we needed

Visited this store on my lunch hour today, have never been to a wok & go before so wasn’t sure what to except or how it worked. The two girls behind the counter were really helpful and able to explain the menu and make suggestions on what I may like to try. In the end I had a combo box meal deal which comes with a side of spring rolls and a drink!

I had delivered, Nasi, Tom yum and rice, and Chinese curry and rice. All rubbish. I contacted Deliveroo to complain and was told the food was prepared like always. So no enjoyment there then. Good bye W

Tenía que entrar en alrededor de las 3:00 pm el sábado, no había nadie en el mostrador y el lugar parecía sucia. Windows no se ven limpias y el interior no parece mucho mejor. Quería comprometerse a ser cliente, pero era sencillamente. Sé que este es un medio de revisión, estoy seguro, el lugar es increíble o lo que sea, pero si no puedo llevar yo mismo al cruzar el umbral, algo que se debe hacer.

Esta es la primera crítica negativa que he escrito, pero tengo que hacerlo. Ya hemos aprendido para no ir en una noche de sábado como esta es tan concurrido esperar por la comida es a menudo más de 30 minutos, y es inconsistente si el personal del hasta menciona este sobre pedidos.

Pasé mucho tiempo en la calle, comida fácil tan rápido que realmente sabe bien es una rareza. Wok & Go fue un cambio refrescante para mí. La comida estaba lista en 4 o 5 minutos, el personal era muy cortés y educado y lo más importante es que la comida estaba buenísimo un no cuestan demasiado o mucho. Me gustó mucho en realidad, yo fui dos veces en un día. La próxima vez que esté en Chester, sé donde me merecerá mi cena.

Hoy entre las 14:30 y 15:00 el hombre que me atendió, y mis dos amigos era muy servicial y amable con nosotros, incluso me dieron una silla que cubriera mi confort.

The place is grubby and seriously in need of a update in decor etc - but position wise it is perfect! When you visit a city sometimes all you want is a quick bite to eat on the go - this place is PERFECT for that.. I always go because the food is yummy and reasonably priced - would recommend it.. like I said - decor and cleanliness is awful but for what you actually go there for (the food) you can't fault it! Would recommend going if your looking for something quick.

Popped in on a quiet Thursday afternoon around 3pm. I hadn't had time for lunch so I fancied an early dinner. Ordering is easy, plenty of selections for everyone. Cooked in minutes. For a can of Sprite and a classic box (small) it was £6. They filled the box to the brim so much so they couldn't close it. There are plenty of spaces to sit and eat if you wish including outside seating. It was tasty and the small box for me was enough to last until breakfast the next morning. Will definately return!

One of my favourite Chinese places ever. Small menu, but everything is so tasty, and you can pretty much make your own meals.

Staff borderline rude. Noodles greasy. Not the usual. Need staff training in customer service. Would say clean , but also was empty. Had to ask for soy sauce and it was so just handed to my daughter with not one word.

For a quick & filling meal you can't go wrong here. What you get is always great & I always find that despite how small the boxes might look, I'm satisfied by the time I've finished it!

I should have turned the other way when the dirty door knob ringed an alarm in my head. I went inside and ordered Seafood Lucksa Soup . While I was waiting I saw a giant house fly flying back and forth in the cooking area and none of the workers seemed to bothered with it sitting on the food. The cooking area looked dirty. The lady who took and prepared my order, was wearing dirty blue gloves. The food tasted really bland. I couldn't taste the fish in fish cake. The sea foods were mushy and the squid was rubbery due to overcooking. The broth was watery with no taste of coconut milk. The floor and table ares of the eating place were dirty as well.

Very nice for a change in venue. Food was all good. Staff were friendly and helpful. As I was only popping in for lunch I did find the whole experience quite slow considering the food was already cooked. The staff took ages to clear the last customers plates away and I had to ask twice for them to do so. Other than that a nice lunch was had by all. Want to go back on a Monday as they have special offers on then.

First time I have tried this chain and I got the meal deal small All made in front of your eyes in a wok .Couldn't wait to try it . Came with chopsticks and a fork in a box crammed full of fresh noodles and fresh meat and prawns . Very nice and massive portion for a small ' would hate to see what a large looks like . Phew I could barely eat a small . But as it was so delicious I just about managed it Cost about a fiver and well worth it I will definitely go again and look out for this on my travels . Come here for lunch every now and then as work nearby. It's quick, convenient food but it tastes really good too. Usually get the Pad Thai box! The staff are very polite and helpful. Would recommend!

This is my local Wok&Go and I have to say I've never been let down. The portion sizes are great and if I order a medium there is normally enough left over for lunch the next day. Their sweet boxes are very tasty, lots of egg and meat. Staff are friendly and offer menu suggestions if you haven't visited before.

Nice, Fast, Simple, Tasty. You really cannot go to far wrong with Wok and Go, It has become my go to whenever I fancy fast food.Pro Tip! -- Try having Tofu in your box! It really makes it good!

Have been having wok and go for years. but all of a sudden here in chester its nose dived. ordered a large combo and a large sweet and sower and both had no flavor were stodgy and full of grease. polite staff member. shoddy food.

I can not even rate the food after being turned away half an hour before they shut. I was furious as the reason was because the chefs are to lazy and dont want to cook. Never going there.

Good food and though a little on the expensive side they don't scrimp on their portions so it works out well. Would recommend to someone who hasn't experienced their food before.

I have never had a meal as bad as this. Customer service was good but food awful. At Wok&go you order and the food is cooked as you wait. I ordered chicken but what I didn't realise was that this meant chicken skin, there was hardly any meat in it at all. I could not believe just how much chicken skin there was in it. Absolutely disgusting, I'll never come here again.

The service was okay. Very quick from ordering to receiving food. Food was okay. Not somewhere I'd rush back too, but then, it's convenient and something different to the normal sandwich meal deal for lunch.

Terrible service, this is the second time I have visited Wok & Go and I wont be returning for a third. I thought I would give it a second chance after the poor service I received the first time. had to wait to be seen to. When asking about their Monday offer which was written all over their website I was refused the offer because it was no longer valid apparently. Payed a lot of money for two boxes of noodles and was refused extra soya sauce unless I payed an extra 20p per sachet. Refused offers and charged more than we was expecting, hardly any meat in the noodle box mostly noodles it's a Wok and No Go for me sorry.

small selection, but can make your own meals as well, good food to pick up and run, when you have a mobile job,small is a good size, large is to feed two of you, or the very big eater.

Wok n Go may be a little on the expensive side but they really do create the best noodles in town! The 'make your own' box is especially good as you get to custom make your own selection and it's definitely worth a trip of you like noodles.

Even the small size box packs in a massive amount of food. Lots of choices (although I always have a hot box). i guess they could put a bit more meat into each box - and definitely more veg! Usually find one piece of brocco per box. Like it here though, will be buying more noodles from these in the future for sure

If u want something quick, good n fresh try wok n go on foregate street! There is another one somewhere near the cathedral but i don t find the food as food as the one on foregate street!The portions are good n i find the noodles tasty...they prepare quite fast n u don't have to wait ages.. U can eat on the spot or take ur noodles home.. Warmed up they are pretty good too!

A wide variety of choices. Good noodles, but lacks a bit of something in the taste / portioning of the ingredients (noodles vs others). 3/5 is about right. Not bad, but not the best.

For £5 I expect more than 3 pieces of chicken, it was just all noodles. Not the best portion control.
