A lovely short walk from Blakeney, brings you to the delightful cafe with outdoor tables providing stunning views through cattle grazing marshlands to the sea. The food however leaves much to be desired. I ordered local crab sandwich with leaves, which seemed very crunchy, this was because I was eating sand in which the local leaves are grown, according to the Manger. My wife's soup was cold & the kitchen staff rolled their eyes when she asked for it to be warmed up. We noticed a couple on the next table also had to be re-served their food. Enjoy the views, but best to buy a tinned drink only!

We have been big supporters of Wiveton Hall and Desmond’s enterprises over the years. It is one of our favourite places to visit each summer. The vibe, the view , the food. We visited for our usual pizza night yesterday and enjoyed a great salad, fries, wine and the usual helpful and friendly staff were in full swing but oh what has happened to the pizzas? Far too heavy on the cheese, literally piled on making it heavy and greasy and no sauce to be seen. They used to be great but these were tasteless ( all 5 of them). A friend who visited 2 weeks ago said the same. Please sort out the pizza chef 🙏 so it can get back to being brilliant !

We enjoyed a lovely lunch of bacon and brie ciabatta and a crab sandwich. With one can of coke it came to a slightly eyewatering £30, but the food was excellent quality and portions very decent. It's great to find somewhere that offers a proper lunch menu. The staff are always very friendly and the views are worth paying a little extra for, too.

We had breakfast here twice during our short stay in Blakeney. Good quality ingredients well cooked. I would say that the portion size of the full English was a little meagre. But the Sausage sandwich is really filling! Atmosphere and restaurant itself are a tad 'rustic', but not in a bad way. Will we go back? - Yes

This was our first visit, we live in Norfolk and we wanted to try somewhere different but you can rest assured we will not be returning never again, there was not much selection on menu, we asked if they could do Ham sandwiches which they did with salad garnish, we ordered two of these with pot tea for two, paid £27.00 which we thought was expensive but excepted this. However the food was rubbish to say the least ham all full fat and bread was not fresh, we both tried to eat it but it made us both feel sick.We just got up and walked out and left the remains of the food on the table. We were waiting for someone to ask if all was ok but not a word spoken. I would not even given this sandwhich to a dog.

Wiveton Hall has a fantastic location with views over the salt marshes and on to the sea. An ideal place to stop for breakfast or a refreshing daytime drink as I’ve done over the years and have been a return visitor many many times. But sadly no more! In the past the food and service has been some of the best around but my experience this time left me feeling disappointed, no longer the friendly table service we used to have, but we now have those annoying table buzzers to alert you when your food is ready, which are more suitable to a noisy nightclub then an idyllic country setting. But the breakfast I received this morning was worse than I ever had from a roadside café, fried egg, which quite honestly should’ve gone straight in the bin as it was more like a frisbee than a fried egg, sausage which tasted very economy and bacon which I’m sure was locally sourced, but was poor. Sour dough toast, which you could break your teeth on, cans of drink which were expensive rather than the home made original drinks we all preferred. Missed opportunity to continue to be one of the jewels in the crown of North Norfolk.😥

On certain Fridays and Saturday evenings the have an Italian night when the serve a four course meal with a number of choices for the main and sweet courses. The food is not fine dining but of good quality. Before and during the meal there is music from a guitarist. Overall a very good evening for a reasonable price.

Finally made it to a Wiveton Italian evening, loved it! The food is rustic and has a homemade feel with a set menu but a nice mix of choices within it. Good drinks selection to start with aperitivi, spritz aperol was good at £6. The 3 courses are filling - Italian breads to start and then an antipasti selection. We had coppa, salami, melanzane parmigiano, grilled asparagus, and radicchio salad. Mains were good, we had a mix of pasta and fish with a vegan too who was catered for well. Deserts, nice choice too and plenty of things I’ve not seen on menus elsewhere. Location is always great, looking out of over the marshes.. but throw in Italian food, good drinks, some live music and Wiveton steps up a level. Bravo!

This place used to be my absolute favourite place to go. A delicious cup of tea with a homemade scone served on Emma Bridgewater pottery , set in a beautiful setting. Well, the views are the same- but that's as far as it goes. We...

We came in for Lunch today and want to start off by saying that the location is idyllic, the food is delicious and most of the staff are wonderful. However, our meal was completely bulldozed by one member of staff (don’t know her name, elderly, black hair, heavy makeup). Not only would she not leave us alone for the duration of our meal which was very off putting, she proceeded to try to force feed me mushy peas using a dirty spoon off of the floor. At the end of our meal we were sitting and enjoying our drinks when she then took them from our table, we were considering getting coffees but felt very pressured to leave after such disastrous service. We are honestly embarrassed for you at No 1, that kind of behaviour was not very becoming at all…. What would have been the perfect meal out ended up being a complete nightmare.

Stayed for one night, all the staff were friendly and helpful, the room was spacious, clean , light and comfortable with an excellent bathroom. Breakfast was very good with an excellent choice of freshly cooked food, cereals, pastries and fruit. Will definitely return and would certainly recommend staying here

Over priced! £11.95 for toasted sandwich that came with small side salad, small pot shop bought coleslaw and handful chips. Had bacon and brie filling with so much cranberry it tasted more like jam sandwich. With a coffee each bill came to £33. Most costly lunch I've had for ages. Won't be rushing back.

Down in Worstead on wee business trip, asked about possibility of lunch nearby and were directed to the White Lady. It was around 14:30 on a Sunday afternoon so expectations weren't too high (would have settled for a sandwich...). Friendly welcome, assured food would be no problem and we're given 3 menus! We're invited to sit anywhere we chose so opted for window seat in dining area to rear. We both opted for Sunday roast topside. Absolutely fantastic. Beef cooked to perfection, awesome roast potatoes and Yorkshire pud, came with glazed chantenay carrots, buttered green beans and zingy red cabbage, jug of lush gravy and topped of with dish of unctuous Cauliflower and cheese (each by the way). Thinking about making the 3 hour drive again just to have that experience again.
