It's quite a nice place for lunch and drink. The food is nice, and the atmosphere is good. Free, spacious car park, although I would recommend making a booking as it can be quite busy as well.

Great service lovely people they deserve Christmas party so give them one.

Four years ago I left a bad review, but after hearing about a change in management, I thought I would give it a try again. WOW, what a difference! Staff are now knowledgeable about allergens, kind, fast and efficient. Chef Mark was lovely and didn’t skimp out on the meat! He said he wants every customer to leave with a smile and come back - you can tell that by how he treats customers! He absolutely needs some recognition!

Absolutely outstanding evening tonight , people only write reviews when they are disappointed and It was a must to put this on . We have been out as a family this evening , the kids were made up they could play , it’s was an amazing atmosphere with Christmas parties , the decorations were great , the food was spot on , the desserts are next level !! Most of all the staff are so lovely , Josh has been amazing from start to finish , he made such everything was sorted and accommodated for , we also had staff ring to double check on the day . They are so friendly & down to earth . The prices are so cheap and all I can say if you are wanting an all round massive tick from everyone you won’t be disappointed. If your expectations are that carvery food will always be perfect it’s unrealistic . If you’re going out to have a good time and not to pick faults - you will not want to miss this . 5* from me and my family - thank you !!

A comfortable atmosphere with genuinely friendly staff. The meats are good but what I like most for the carvery here is the potato/veg selection. Always a good number of options with good flavour. Prices are also very reasonable.

We had a huge booking of 26 people for the festive menu, and considering the amount of us, the orders were bang on, all pre ordered in advance for ease. Staff were friendly and accomodating. Special mention for JR the manager, he helped me with pre ordering, organising and answered all my queries. Nothing was too much trouble. A great team 👏 👍 I would definitely come back again, especially for large group bookings. Thank you for a lovely evening!

Went there for a birthday meal , and I must say the portion of meat was small gammon and beef, the gammon was lovely but the beef , couldn’t even cut it with a knife, so tough !!!

Visited today 28th November with my Auntie We both ordered a Carvery. We hot plates for our dinner but when we sat down to eat it. IT was cold we could not enjoy it .also the fan on ceiling was on making us cold told the Staff they said they can't turn fan off. Complained about the food to Manager he was good at refunding our money for carvery. We won't vist there in a hurry again

Absolutely fantastic as always. Brilliant cooked carvery and cakes are amazing. It is the only place we visit that we order dessert as other places overpriced tiny portions and disappointing but your cakes are fantastic. On the 10th November 7 of us went out for a joint birthday celebration. 4 of us had the carvery 3 had food off the menu. 4 of us had up upset stomachs straight away after eating the food that afternoon. I had a double portion of turkey which was pink and watery. I didn't think much of it at the time as the food here has been excellent in the past. I was violently ill in the afternoon and tried several times to call but they were very busy and the phone was on silent. I had to call in sick on Monday as I needed the toilet constantly. I managed to get to the restaurant to tell them what had happened Monday morning and they reassured me that steps would be made to reimburse my friend for the four meals. Only found out today that they are not. Really upset with them as I spent 48 hours emptying my bowels due to badly cooked food. I am not happy with a company that promises one thing then let's you down. Danny

The food looked lovely. However, the roast beef was very tough to eat and the roast potatoes tasted like they had been reheated several times. I went on a week day about 7.45pm so maybe the kitchen was ready to close up. The staff were friendly.

Really pleasent atmosphere with friendly approachable polite staff. The carvery is top notch and the fish and chip shop meal was give high marks by my daughter. Highly recommended the pub.

The roast beef was tough ... Needed a samurai sword to cut. It was chewy and plain awful. I was looking forward to having a carvery meal. It was my dear friend's 60th birthday celebration.

Mark (the chef) was really welcoming, very happy and wanted to do his best to do everything he could to ensure you had a good time!

My wife and I went here for the first time today with our 2 kids and her 3 friends. Walked in and thought blimey its really busy, but the service was amazing and extremely quick, the food was absolutely lovely. Will be coming again, glad to find somewhere close to us where we can have a lovely Sunday roast. Cant believe we never tried this place before. From a happy and full up family

Not gourmet dining but fantastic value and lovely cosy atmosphere. The bar staff give incredible service, its almost as if they enjoy their jobs and want to be there! A rarity in todays world and makes me want to go back time and time again.

Had a fab time this evening, bangers and mash was excellent, didn’t have to wait long like some places, I once waited 3 hours for a delivery with 3 separate deliveries from another pub but not here!!!!! loads of space in the exotic car park, so much space I could bury the ex under it!!!! Wow. This place was busy today, Sunday. We booked a table which was free and clean for when we arrived. We had a carvery for Sunday lunch which was good. I had a piece of beef that was mostly fat, but after I let the waitress know, she brought me another much better piece without question. She also came back over a few minutes later to check that it was okay. Everyone enjoyed their food, and we ordered a dessert to takeaway. There was a definite lack of staff, though, and that meant that those working had to, in my opinion, work too hard. A nice experience overall with good food and helpful, but busy staff.

The staff are amazing! Had a great chat with the assistant manager while ordering food and drinks. Even though they were very busy, he made it feel like he had all the time for us.

Visited on a Saturday and was promptly met and sat down, ordered at the bar quickly with a lovely guy called Mark. Food came out in good timing and was all freshly cooked! All was very tasty and definitely will come back to try some other things that peaked my interest.

Visited with a friend today. Placed our drink/food order with a friendly and polite young lady by the name of Sara who although was tired after attending Uni earlier in the day, she still had a kind, friendly and warm smile on her face and was very polite and pleasant towards us. Really enjoyed the food also and it was a calm relaxing atmosphere.

Last time I visited Winterstream Park it was not good, however this visit was so much better, the service and food was very enjoyable. I will certainly be visiting again in the future.

Went for a mid week roast. Was served by Mark the chef. My niece had a few requests and he was more than happy to help. He could also see that there was not much food left to choose from so went out the back to get some more. Lovely guy.

Had a fab time this evening serving staff were as always friendly and cheerful, I was particularly impressed with how one of the staff dealt with an unhappy customer and how professional and polite they were even though the customer was being rude and ridiculous they seemed to do all they could for them. The food was lovely I’m a big fan of the carvery and have this most times we visit. We will be back many many times over

Went this morning for breakfast. First time in about 3 years. The system has completely changed and the quality is awful. Half the breakfast choices weren't available at 20.10am but Yorkshire pudding was on offer. The coffee was in flasks that didn't work as was the milk. The toast is mow remade for you instead of self serve and it was burnt and cold no jam on offer only marmalade. I'm afraid that will be my last visit the quality of food and service has dropped significantly and the prices soared.

Two Roasts and Fish and chips all very nice thanks

Had a carvery around 7:30pm. Food looked like it had been there for hours. Dry but cold veg and pigs in blankets were burnt beyond edible. No turkey, beef was more grissle, the gammon was nice but again cold. Redeemed only by the very pleasant server on the bar. Managed to up the one star rating to two.

I have been living in Bradley Stoke for 4 years, and today was the first time in this restaurant. I asked for a large carvery which cost £14.99, and a large glass of soft drink which cost £3.60. If I also wanted pig in blankets, it would cost an extra £2. The cuts of meat are small. Half of the thin slice of beef was tendon, which could not be eaten. I paid 18.59 pounds. To this price I add 4.40 pounds, and go to an all you can eat restaurant. So this restaurant is a robbery. Potatoes, and vegetables are very cheap.

Me and my wife came today as we had a code for a standard carvery and a cake for £10 each (we had codes for 4 visits so we had been coming once a week for the past few weeks) We were always made very welcome at the bar with the super friendly staff ..we placed our food and drinks order there. We were served at the carvery by Mark and JR who were super helpful and super friendly… Mark made sure I didn’t go hungry and was happy to hear that I love my food and if it goes on the plate it goes in my belly 🤣 Had a great choice of items which you serve yourself (except the meat and Yorkshire) I especially loved the roast potatoes and the mash also broccoli was available today. The smiles on our faces should be all you need to know. 🎈😃 Our desserts (chocolate fudge cake and carrot cake) were massive and so tasty they were brought over by Harrison who remembered us from previous visits he was super nice and friendly. Overall for £35 between us (we had a bottle of wine) it was unbelievably fantastic value. We ate every bit (but I doubt I will need feeding for 24 hours or so 🤣😁) Thank you winter stream for looking after us so well ❤️❤️❤️

Really great value for money. I’m so full and have leftovers for days!!! Mark was a wonderful bartender and really helped me out
