It's great to see a response from the venue on a review; however I didn't write anything the first time. So thought I would now as the venue had replied. We visited the Sandringham twice over the weekend of Beast from the East. Snow was not going to stop us visiting. We had a few drinks and played board and card games. Staff were friendly.

Nice lunch and couple of beers, friendly and efficient manager and staff.

If you book as a big group be prepared to pay extra as the till puts things through differently. We paid extra even though most of us went for the 2/4 courses. Bit unfair.

The food is always lovely and the staff are always friendly and helpful.

We had a family 90th Birthday for my Mum, we pre-ordered our meal and everything went without a hitch. Excellent food and great service. Paul went above and beyond to make sure everything was perfect.

Our local and glad of it too!. We go back time and again and Ember Inns offer consistent special deals. Also a good selection of beers, wines and ciders on offer.

Had dinner at this pub last night Friday 14th August. The staff were very helpful, polite and professional. The food was excelent. The steak was cooked exactly as my wife had asked. Scampi and fish dinners were excellent. All tasted as it should. Very quick service with the food, although they were busy, there was hardly any waiting time at all. Apparently the chefs name for last night was Pete. Thanks Pete for the great food and thanks to the rest of the staff for making our visit enjoyable. We will be back.

We ordered through To Good To Go. Turned up to collect the food and the management had cancelled our order. The member of staff tried helping but very poor from the management. We won't be back. *We regularly use Too Good To Go and this is the first time this has happened. We were informed the pub had set up TGTG but not yet ready to proceed. The order was not cancelled an hour before collection as mentioned in your response.

I made a brunch reservation for 10 people at the Sandringham to kick off my wifes 60th birthday celebrations on Saturday 10th August 2024 A few days prior I was asked to submit a food pre- order, this was plain and simple which worked out well on the day of our brunch. When we arrived on the morning of Saturday 10th we were met/greeted by Paul( the person in charge) and shown to our large table. In a nutshell, we had a fantastic bruch, the food was absolutely lovely, table sevice very good in a lovely clean pub setting. Really glad we made the right choice of venue as we really got looked after that morning!! Well done, keep up your good hard work! Vaughan

Had a night out with friends recently and just wanted to say that Ash was brilliant. Real positive and fun attitude.

The food was excellent, especially the halloumi salad. Both Ollie and Oliver were polite, friendly and excellent service at a reasonable cost. We will definitely eat here again. Jean Deb and Caroline

Booked for Sunday meal for 12 people. Mix of Sunday Roast dinners and Scampi/fish and chips. Food was delicious. Fast service and friendly staff.

Excellent two course roast beef Sunday lunch. Beef tender, selection of tasty veg, huge Yorkshire pudding and a gravy that was very flavoursome. Good choice of puddings also tasting very good. Prompt service, excellent value for money.

Had a lovely evening here. We went for a family meal - including our dog- for a birthday and even though six of us ordered and most meals had changes made to them everything came out just as we asked. The bar staff were very welcoming and nothing was too much bother. The manager in charge, Paul, was very accommodating and assisted in getting us a round table by the door so we could take our dog out. We will definitely return soon. Thank you

Went for dinner early Thursday evening. The staff were incredibly helpful and friendly, and the steaks were very good. Tender and very tasty. Also the peppercorn sauce was very good. Great value and really enjoyed our evening thank you.

Popped in for a quick pint today after two weeks away it was great to be back. Lily was serving today who is a great bar tender and always very approachable and great to chat to. Part of the dream team who help to make this a great establishment.

Haven't been to the Sandringham in a while. Had haddock and chips cooked by Sam. Served by Paul. The haddock was delicious and the service first class. Would recommend to anyone.

Recently visited for the live band and some food and drink with friends staff were lovely and the was very good service even though it was busy would recommend to anyone lovely local pub.

Well what can I say always come to this pub staff are always going above and beyond and the food is spectacular would recommend for a faimy meal or just a quick pint with friends

It was awful we were given glasses that were really dirty, my husband had to go get it change half way through his drink, then when our food came my husband steak knife had a really long hair attached to it, this was meant to be a celebrating meal and it was let down with poor food and lack of hygiene

We booked a table for 10am, the breakfast was really tasty and the meet of top quality. Staff lovely and friendly. Dog friendly. Definitely be returning thank you x

Came in to have a drink in the sun as this is our new local pub and had great customer service! The pub was lovely & clean and staff were very friendly! Looking forward to coming back!

Ordered food, starters came out fine, waiting ages for our mains to then be told one of the mains was not available, cold chips overcooked mixed grills, yes they did compensate but I would rather pay full price and not have to complain. #FAMILYTIME.

Come here quite alot, last couple of times have not been up to their usual good standard. Had to wait an hour for food last two times. When food did arrive it was good, steak slightly over cooked for what I wanted, forgot onion fries that is supposed to come with the main meal. Then had a dirty steak knife. While waiting for our food alot of people walking in and then back out and hearing alot of complaints as was sat by the bar. Shame things are starting to slide as was a great place. Bring back the onion rings!! onion fries ain't that great.

My mum's favourite place for lunches out. Reasonably priced, well cooked food and something for everyone. Since the menu has recently been updated, we've enjoyed the sea bass with prawns, also the updated Hunter's chicken and the salad with falafel. A local for all ages with friendly service.

Really good menu lots of choice of food and puddings good for Sunday lunches very good service from the bar staff and very good waitress at the tables very clean tables and fast about clearing your plates away from the tables when you have finished your meal. I would definitely recommend and would definitely come back here. But I would highly recommend that you book a tables because it gets very busy on weekends and bank holidays.

A party of eight. Seven of us had eaten half of our meals before the eighth was served. According to the waitress it was the chefs fault. No apology for this oversight.

We booked a last minute table at the Sandringham, they happily accommodated 18 of us. They gave us our own area, which was lovely for our Easter family celebration. Ordering food was easy on the app and some people went to the bar. Food was prompt and lovely, and seemed good value for money. Staff were helpful and didn't seem fazed by the big table and the fact that we'd ordered separately. Food pretty much came out together. Thank you

I drink here quite regularly and the bar staff Ash, Olly, Meg, Izzy Zoe Iris and Bailey, who light the pub up with their friendliness and the odd banter. If you want great service and a chilled atmosphere come here, you won’t be disappointed 😀

I recently visited this delightful pub with my two elderly neighbors Pete and Boris and it was a truly memorable experience. From the moment we stepped in, we were greeted with warm hospitality and a cozy atmosphere that instantly made us feel at home

Popped in last night on way home from work, ended up staying until closing, had a great meal and really enjoyed the service and atmosphere. Will be heading back next week for second visit.....

Woman who served our table was rude(youngish lady with tattoos), forgot one of our meals despite ordering as a group and food was poor.

4 of us visited on Mother's Day, what a mistake. On arrival we were told our table number and after finding it discovered that there was 7 half empty glasses on it. They were cleared after about 20 mins but the table not wiped clean. I ordered some drinks using the QR code on the table, after chasing they arrived about 25 minutes later. The pre ordered food took 65 mins to come out. Chips were missing from the mixed grill and gravy from duo roast. The duo had sub standard veg and roast potatoes, the gammon was bone dry and the chicken was a small leg rather than half a chicken. All in all in was a disaster and a waste of time and money. We will not be returning or recommending. Quite clearly they took far too many bookings without the capability to service them.

Waited TOO long for food. Apparently both the chefs were off sick. Maybe give your chefs more incentive to work on such a potentially busy day, ruined our day and lost my deposit. We ended up walking out before our main course.poor,considering we pre ordered too

Sign saying wait to be seated 5 minutes before someone said forget that, go to bar. Ordered on app, having had to pay 20 pounds deposit to have the privilege of eating here on mothers day, starters came out late but ok, nearly 30 minutes between clearing starters to 2 of 4 mains coming out, then nothing for 10 minutes, asked at bar, they went looking but didnt come back, 10 minutes again I asked another member of staff who went to find out. "No chefs in kitchen, so waiting staff are preparing your other meals". My food was now cold and ruined, my young daughter had eaten on her own, and my son and wife... ON MOTHERS DAY, had no food. We have eaten here several times and had perfectly reasonable food, but this time awful

We went as a family of 7 to the Sandringham Friday 8th March, joint birthday/mothers day meal. We had a good experience, All food cooked well, no complaints. The pub was busy as usual but we were served in a timely fashion. Reasonably priced, friendly staff, nice easy going local pub .

Visited on Mothers Day. Prebooked as 9 dining. Booked for 1pm Arrived at 12.45 as per instructions from booking. The first 3 of my party to arrive were told food would be served at 1pm, this 'story' then changed to 'an hour' delay. There was a sign for no walk ins and the pub was fully booked. Despite several chases with various staff, the food was eventually served at 2.20 !, luke warm. The hand carved gammon was more like bacon amd had been stood under hot lamps so was crusty. The medium steaks were well done (again due to standing under hot lamps ?), my Sunday Duo was advertised as half a chicken with gammon but was just a think chicken leg with no breast. The greens/ cabbage were mainly stalks with no leaf and the roasters were sub standard Aunt Bessy style potatoes. The whole experience ruined mothers day for us as a family. There were other families leaving before their food was served as the delay was too long. Never visiting again.

Such a shame that my local pub displayed such shocking customer service when I ordered food today. Also not great to sit next to someone indoors who was blatantly vaping in front of staff. Gone really down hill. Shame

A last minute jaunt brought us here instead of our planned venue. We got there in between busy spells which meant our food did take longer than we'd expected or wanted. When it was delivered it was your standard pub fare which is what we expected. Tasty as you'd expect, nothing groundbreaking but good portion size for sure. One gripe would be that the menus are all very sticky with food residue, and honestly so we're some of the tables which looked otherwise serviced. It would perhaps be prudent to clean the menus by wiping them down when you clean the tables as this was a little grim if I'm honest.

Went with the Family Thursday evening, we were going to treat the children to dinner but when we got in there it was remarkably cold. Customers were sat in their coats, there were no fires on ( 3 in Pub ) We decided that it wasn't comfortable to stay an eat so we left to find somewhere warmer. We decided that we wouldn't go back until the Summer.

Food was average pub food and averagely priced

Absolutely fabulous a great place, extra friendly plus great community hub we always make a point of going there traveling from Manchester to visit family & friends

We visit The Sandringham a lot as its local to us, however we also held a family birthday there on 18/02/24 and it was excellent. The staff took great care of us. The Sunday lunches were fantastic, but we could also order from the normal menu for those that wanted burgers, pasta etc. A really lovely occasion for my elderly father in law's 88th birthday which we really appreciated.
