Drove past the other day and it reminded me of what a fantastic pub this is! We’ve never had a bad meal here, the food is always amazing! The staff are always so friendly and helpful which is lovely to see these days! 10/10

Google says I visited here yesterday. I didn't, I drove past. I have visited in the past. I had a roast dinner once. Very poor. Translucent slices of beef & prepacked roast potatoes.

Fantastic pub myself and my daughter visited whilst over in Bristol. Food was amazing, atmosphere really relaxed and staff were so helpful and friendly. Really highly recommend this place for both food and drinks.

A family visit we arrived on Good Friday, 2 adults and 2 children in the party. We were met by very friendly and incredibly helpful staff. It's noteworthy this place has a restaurant and an attached indoor playarea with some table seating. This is where we were seated, so this review is only of the attached indoor play area (the whacky warehouse). We were able to order food in the main restaurant and have it served in the play area. The Food. It was fine. This is a GreeneKing restaurant, so the food is preset and I have no complaints here. The portion sizes were a bit meagre for the amount you pay. It's important to point out my steak was cooked perfectly which is so hard to find nowadays. Just didn't feel full after finishing. Atmosphere. It's a kids indoor play area so you would be insane to expect anything but a lot of kids screaming, the kids loved every minute they were in the area. So you pay £5 per child and they get 90 minutes of play, which is more than enough. Whilst there is an attendant to the play area. They do ask that you have an attending adult to supervise your children. Facilities Plenty of parking, although the car park dedicated to the restaurant wasn't as easy to find as the main carpark into the retail unit it's attached to. The toilets were clean. There is disabled access to the restaurant. Although the two magnetic lock swing doors into the play area don't look wide enough for some wheelchairs I did notice an alternative entrance, so maybe that's used. Service. Staff were brilliant, the food we ordered was correct, and all came out together, we also didn't wait that long at all.

We've been coming here for about two years now, it's our local and the food is always good at affordable prices plus the childrens meals are brilliant at a very good price for meal drink and icecream. We came for food and drinks on a Saturday night. Our little one had a session in soft play and Jack was fantastic. Really friendly and engaging with the children. Highly recommend.

Great pub that is dog friendly with reasonably priced food and friendly staff, what more could you ask for? I often take my children here to go into the softplay and then we'll have something to eat afterwards. The children love it, you can choose to eat within the soft play or in the main pub.

Come to the wacky warehouse soft play almost once a week and have done for the past few years. Since Kelsey has started working here it has made such a difference she’s always so accommodating and engages with my son. He absolutely loves her.

We visited the Mill house for some food and so our 3 year old could play in the soft play area. Kelsey was super friendly and played with our son and his cars as it was very quiet. He had the best time and can’t wait to visit again to see Kelsey.

Had a great experience recently at the Millhouse - Stef the manager created a lovely atmosphere and the food was really lovely. Would recommend.

A good pub to go with the family, it has a paid playground, traditional pub food at a reasonable price.

Came for drinks with a couple of girlfriends, staff were friendly and served promptly. Manager behind the bar called stef was very helpful with gin selection and choices thank you!

Went here for lunch as love a greene king. The lunch menu was £8 something for a ciabatta or wrap and chips and a drink. Great price. Ordered a steak and cheese ciabatta. Took 45 mins. The steak was just gristle. My teeth still hurt from trying to bite through it. The cheese was just plasticy hamburger cheese chucked on top which I took off immediately. It just peeled off luckily as it wasn't even melted. I counted 10 chips. They were OK. It said it came with a bit of side salad. There was about 8 leaves on my plate that were not much bigger than cress.... Not a great experience and wouldn't go there again.

Customer service has been second to none. Served by a fellow named Jack who went through a lot of effort to make my nephew comfortable, and Kelsey was also amazing in the wacky warehouse, both went above and beyond!

Came here for my birthday treat. My steak wasn’t cooked to how it was ordered so had to send it back. Then when ordering desserts the server checked to see if they had brownies left and then didn’t put it through. So everyone had finished there pudding and I had nothing. The offered to put it through but I had given up as everyone had finished. We also said there would be a baby in a buggy and we had steps to go up to our table.

Had a lovely meal tonight, nice food and piping hot. Pity we had to go looking for forks and serviettes as there was only 4 knives on the table. Otherwise no other issues.

Xmas day food was fantastic - everything hot, fantastic service pub was beautifully decorated. Can't wait to return in the new year.

We are currently waiting for our Christmas Dinner. We were booked in at 1.30pm. It is now two hours later and the place is emptying out, our kids are hungry and we are fed up. We still don‘t have any food, and are starting to wonder whether they might have run out. It’s all gone very quiet and no one else is being served.

What a lovely bunch of staff I took my boys to meet santa and have breakfast they was able to play in ball pit meet santa then have breakfast and at an affordable price. Couldn't fault the morning my boys had so much Dan and staff was amazing thank you so much. Tasha xx

Service is always great here, food is nice enough for the price.

Sadly I had to send my meal back twice as the first one was still frozen in the middle and the second one was still very cold, my daughter’s gravy was also cold and had to be rewarmed, I was offered something different but by this time everyone else had finished and the fact that 2 had to be returned it did put me off having a third meal and I didn’t want to sit alone eating with everyone else waiting for me to finish.

Fantastic food, fantastic service. Nothing too much bother for fantastic staff. Be back soon!

Don’t normally leave reviews unless exceptionally good or really bad. This was really bad. Food was awful. Cold, not served as described & would question how some of it was cooked by appearance/texture. Even the chips were uncooked & cold (how can you get a chip wrong! 🤦🏼‍♂️) Def won’t eat here again. On plus side kids enjoyed soft play & couldn’t fault staff serving

Popped into the mill house to catch up with a friend the other day and honestly couldn’t rate it here enough. Staff were all super friendly and helpful when we had queries about allergies and came to check out food was okay shortly after it was brought out. Food was really good especially for the price and nice atmosphere! Will definitely be back :)

The staff are always friendly but seem to never stick around, which is a shame every week seems to be mew staff. Seems to be the place could do with an influx of cash, and both lots of mens toilets have been leaking for months, and the wacky warehouse has been closed for months, which is a shame

Called in to the Millhouse for lunch yesterday 19th September with family have used the Millhouse most weeks and found it to be excellent for the food and the service, unfortunately yesterday was the complete opposite waited around 45 minutes for the food to arrive it was not the best we have had there, most of us ordered the Hunters Chicken. the chips were barely warm and the onion rings were cold the chicken portions were the smallest we have ever had the dish with the cheese and bacon and chicken seems to have been in the microwave for far to long every thing was over cooked and was only warm. I hope this was an isolated incident and now not the norm but it has put us off returning for a while hopefully if we return in the future we will not have this problem again.

Was at wacky warehouse on Saturday 14th of September adults was on the softplay and was not told The rules of play for the softplay the staff is not asking the adults to come off the softplay .bigger children in the baby area ,

Came back here for the 1st time in 6 years. Changed decor and menu. We enjoyed our meals last night. Chicken shawa and hunters chicken. Very good food and service. Nice atmosphere but needs air conditioning.

Had a really great time at the Mill House yesterday afternoon, the staff and atmosphere was so friendly and really enjoy it whenever I pop in for drinks/lunch. Went in with my friend for some drinks and props to the tall guy who served us at the bar for being so lovely and approachable, really made us feel comfortable and is slowly becoming our weekend local! 10/10

Really love it here. Such a nice vibe all round and the staff were really helpful and checked how we were getting on with our food. We had quite a bit of food and all of it was lovely! One of the ladies who worked there even came and gave my dog a treat and lots of cuddles. Will definitely be going back.

We went here with are granddaughter first into the whacky warehouse where she had a great time and where Helen was very friendly and helpful . Then we went to have a meal in the restaurant that was really good served very hot and delicious and the rolley polly pudding was mouth watering will definitely be going again.

Definitely shocked how great this place was, didn’t expect it at all, just thought it was another Greenking… I was Wrong. Great Food - came out fresh and hot . Service with a smile and great atmosphere. On way out we even noticed they go dog treats for dogs. This is what every Green King should be like. Definitely returning soon

We have been visiting the Wacky Warehouse with our grandchildren for over four years and have always had a great time there especially due to the very friendly and efficient service from Helen. The children love to see her as she always finds time to chat to them. Our grandchild looks for Helen and is disappointed when she is on holiday! Great tea, coffee and cakes served with a smile by Helen. A great place to go for kids, mums, dads and grandparents.

I arranged to meet with a friend and her child to go to soft play in the wacky warehouse. I stupidly didn’t book. Helen was on reception and patiently explained she was too full to let us in and we could check again later. We returned, Helen remembered us and explained the area was still too full and to have lunch and check again. Helen then took the trouble to find us in the pub to tell us two people had left and there was now just enough space if the adults stood. She was so friendly and helpful throughout. She even let us know when a table was free in the corner, so us adults could sit. Helen is a credit to the Mill House in Emersons. Going that extra mile to ensure all the children had a great day, was so appreciated. Thanks so much!

Well having not visited for 6 months through to bad management we can actually say this place is brilliant now with great staff and great food😀

Me and my partner came here tonight with his family for a meal . We ordered our food and drink at the bar that was ok. But when all food came table I ordered steak and chips and peppercorn sauce extra and it was missing on my plate and my partner had to go ask for it at the bar again. They forgot to put it on the plate. So I wait 10 more minutes for the staff to cook me aother sauce. My family was all ready half way though there meal, so they had wait for me to finish my meal. Then no staff came to clear our plates from the table. We wanted to order some desserts and coffees so we did my partner ordered them bar. We waited 50 minutes for desserts no staff came to table. So my partner had to go bar once again and ask where is our desserts and the bar staff forgot to make them in the kitchen and we had to wait for aother 10 minutes for our desserts. Then when they finally came to the table. My dessert was wrong one I ordered and I had to wait aother 10 minutes for the staff to bring me the right dessert one out from the kitchen. This as put me and my partner off coming here again
