Worst pub iv ever been to. Staff rude Toilets disgusting Entertainment is terrible Food is below standards

Popped into the mill house to catch up with a friend the other day and honestly couldn’t rate it here enough. Staff were all super friendly and helpful when we had queries about allergies and came to check out food was okay shortly after it was brought out. Food was really good especially for the price and nice atmosphere! Will definitely be back :)

Though there was a slight wait on food, our roasts were great. The staff were super friendly especially the lad with the hat, didn't get his name. We felt very welcomed and we will be back!

Birthday party, polite service, good entertainment, same the food was a bit lacking in quantity and quality.

The staff are always friendly but seem to never stick around, which is a shame every week seems to be mew staff. Seems to be the place could do with an influx of cash, and both lots of mens toilets have been leaking for months, and the wacky warehouse has been closed for months, which is a shame

Nice food great choice friendly staff

Called in to the Millhouse for lunch yesterday 19th September with family have used the Millhouse most weeks and found it to be excellent for the food and the service, unfortunately yesterday was the complete opposite waited around 45 minutes for the food to arrive it was not the best we have had there, most of us ordered the Hunters Chicken. the chips were barely warm and the onion rings were cold the chicken portions were the smallest we have ever had the dish with the cheese and bacon and chicken seems to have been in the microwave for far to long every thing was over cooked and was only warm. I hope this was an isolated incident and now not the norm but it has put us off returning for a while hopefully if we return in the future we will not have this problem again.

Was at wacky warehouse on Saturday 14th of September adults was on the softplay and was not told The rules of play for the softplay the staff is not asking the adults to come off the softplay .bigger children in the baby area ,

Came back here for the 1st time in 6 years. Changed decor and menu. We enjoyed our meals last night. Chicken shawa and hunters chicken. Very good food and service. Nice atmosphere but needs air conditioning.

I visit this pub frequently, the ambience here is fantastic, friendly staff lead by a competent friendly Soph, keep up the good work!

Had a really great time at the Mill House yesterday afternoon, the staff and atmosphere was so friendly and really enjoy it whenever I pop in for drinks/lunch. Went in with my friend for some drinks and props to the tall guy who served us at the bar for being so lovely and approachable, really made us feel comfortable and is slowly becoming our weekend local! 10/10

Really love it here. Such a nice vibe all round and the staff were really helpful and checked how we were getting on with our food. We had quite a bit of food and all of it was lovely! One of the ladies who worked there even came and gave my dog a treat and lots of cuddles. Will definitely be going back.

We went here with are granddaughter first into the whacky warehouse where she had a great time and where Helen was very friendly and helpful . Then we went to have a meal in the restaurant that was really good served very hot and delicious and the rolley polly pudding was mouth watering will definitely be going again.

Definitely shocked how great this place was, didn’t expect it at all, just thought it was another Greenking… I was Wrong. Great Food - came out fresh and hot . Service with a smile and great atmosphere. On way out we even noticed they go dog treats for dogs. This is what every Green King should be like. Definitely returning soon

We have been visiting the Wacky Warehouse with our grandchildren for over four years and have always had a great time there especially due to the very friendly and efficient service from Helen. The children love to see her as she always finds time to chat to them. Our grandchild looks for Helen and is disappointed when she is on holiday! Great tea, coffee and cakes served with a smile by Helen. A great place to go for kids, mums, dads and grandparents.

My nephews absolutely love the wacky warehouse here, and I love the food and friendly service. Prices are great, food is tasty and there’s a great selection of food and drinks for both adults and kids. I’ll definitely be back!

I had steak & ale pie with mash

This pub has has always been a go to with my grandkids. Lovely to see improvements being made to the decor. Staff are always polite and friendly. We'll be back soon!

I arranged to meet with a friend and her child to go to soft play in the wacky warehouse. I stupidly didn’t book. Helen was on reception and patiently explained she was too full to let us in and we could check again later. We returned, Helen remembered us and explained the area was still too full and to have lunch and check again. Helen then took the trouble to find us in the pub to tell us two people had left and there was now just enough space if the adults stood. She was so friendly and helpful throughout. She even let us know when a table was free in the corner, so us adults could sit. Helen is a credit to the Mill House in Emersons. Going that extra mile to ensure all the children had a great day, was so appreciated. Thanks so much!

Had a delish crumble! Served by amazing staff, super smiley waitress think her name was Dorothy ? Only thing I can fault is the blackcurrant squash being a little strong for me! Definitely will come back to see all the lovely staff ! See you soon

Well having not visited for 6 months through to bad management we can actually say this place is brilliant now with great staff and great food😀

Me and my partner came here tonight with his family for a meal . We ordered our food and drink at the bar that was ok. But when all food came table I ordered steak and chips and peppercorn sauce extra and it was missing on my plate and my partner had to go ask for it at the bar again. They forgot to put it on the plate. So I wait 10 more minutes for the staff to cook me aother sauce. My family was all ready half way though there meal, so they had wait for me to finish my meal. Then no staff came to clear our plates from the table. We wanted to order some desserts and coffees so we did my partner ordered them bar. We waited 50 minutes for desserts no staff came to table. So my partner had to go bar once again and ask where is our desserts and the bar staff forgot to make them in the kitchen and we had to wait for aother 10 minutes for our desserts. Then when they finally came to the table. My dessert was wrong one I ordered and I had to wait aother 10 minutes for the staff to bring me the right dessert one out from the kitchen. This as put me and my partner off coming here again

Went for a family breakfast yesterday being Good Friday. Was extremely disappointed that the premises was so quiet yet the service was so poor. Didn’t even have any milk for breakfast drinks yet you’ve got a lidl within walking distance. Food was very poor quality and cold. Will not recommend or come back again.

what a run done pub in need of a refurb, seats are ripped and dirty,the toilets are terrible,my kids used to go to the wacky when they were younger and since i work across the road it was very handy back then. i wrote a review for this pub before when me and my son were there after our holiday i might have had a bit of jet lag ( tired) but i will still not return here after the pints i had,they were horrible as 3 weeks before the same . *******The wishing well is a lot bigger.as my brother goes a lot.************* the locals seem friendly and the staff and there is a great Italian restaurant across the road which i will be going this week and good supermarkets near by and a huge car park

Wow, wow, wow, what an amazing place. At first, I was sceptical having previous reviews, but how wrong they were! The pub was clean, tidy, and well managed. Staff were a delight. Especially the fringed girl. Is she single? Best pint of Guinness I've ever had, and the food was worthy of Michelin star. Not a pound land in site. The wacky warehouse was fantastic, I took my 1 year old in and felt completely at ease. Couldn't fault it. Her first work was infact "wacky" and safe to say she's a big fan. Overall 10/10 would recommend.

The food was okay. But the glass wasn’t clean much. Lipstick stains from previous user eww 😷. Anyways maybe I should have given 2 stars as my partner suggested but nah. The hunters chicken breast was tiny and dry. One star is for the good small plates . Only the small plates menu was good. Thank You

I met my friend for lunch today and we both remarked how clean and tidy all the tables were. The food was very good and the young man who brought our meals was very polite. The man behind the bar was also very pleasant and helpful. Well done!

Attended Wednesday 21/02/24 - waitress that served us the whole time was lovely, very friendly and very helpful, food was acceptable and with a blue light discount was fairly reasonable. Lager here is off and quite headache inducing, not sure why, must be poor barrels. Atmosphere not great. Overall an ok pub with amazing service from bar staff, very attentive, just a shame about the low quality beer.

Wacky warehouse is good for little children

A lot of the meals are lovely here but not the steak, so tough could barely chew it. Katsu Chicken is nice. So is the chilli.

Can't complain about the food 3 great roasts, 1 veggie. Mac and cheese great and steak pie. Great food, but we asked for a extra gravey. 78 pence for 2 little jags of gravey! Never been asked in any pub to pay for extra gravey.

It was great the food was good the kids loved the play area and we were served by James he was a very nice guy will go back there next time I am in Bristol

Great location, loads of room for big group events, big enough to accommodate kids parties plus quiet areas for couples etc. Good value for money with a wide range of food on the menu. Polite & friendly staff. I've not been here for a while but plan to return.

we got our food after 40 mins of waiting then we didn’t get our drink after a whole hour, we asked the waiter whether our drink is ready, but he forgot about it. we left after spending two hours in the restaurant without getting the drinks we ordered and paid for.

Had a really poor main meal from the festive menu… the meal had been microwaved I think as the pastry was soggy and the vegetables inedible. The cheese and biscuits dessert was good and the Christmas trees and decorations were nice for the meal but...

We came here today, which is the first visit in roughly 6 months! The service was excellent, the food was delicious, the kids loved the wacky and we left feeling very happy. What a difference in atmosphere since our last visit, the staff were all lovely, it was nice to see some staff we recognised from our last visit. It really adds to the experience when you see familiar faces.
