Food wasn’t fresh and there was very little filling. I’ve also overheard how he speaks to his staff and it’s cruel.

Popped in here with the lovely Ursula for coffee. Super friendly staff greeting us and an extensive menu. I had a deelish steak & kidney pie with my latte and the boss had a hot fruit scone with hers. Very reasonable prices and overall a most enjoyable visit

Booked three weeks in advance yet were seated in a far corner although lots of tables by the window spare. Group came in after us and had no booking and were seated in window with view!? Then waited twenty mins for staff to offer drink. Food came out very fast and was good standard. Mini hash browns went down well and the Spanish coffee was delicious. Waited and waited to catch eye of staff for the bill, had three or four different wait staff so had no idea who was meant to ask for it Average experience with this restaurant

Visited Bill’s this weekend for a bank holiday brunch. We really had such a lively time. The food was zingy and fresh and our server Esme ensured that we were comfortable and felt like we were VIPs! Thank you Esme.

Do not confuse this cafe with OLD TOWN CAFE which is about 100yds west in Church St. A cafe but with training facilities for disabled adults.

We had a lovely afternoon tea in the conservatory, all of it was enjoyable, I was delighted that my fruit scone was able to be replaced with a plain one. Everything we had was enjoyable. The staff were friendly and attentive. Would definitely recommend it.

Excellent food quality. Nice "old school" ambience with efficient service. Good location in Eastbourne's "Restaurant Row" 🙂 note they prefer cash.
