Lovely meal - friendly service.

Was in there for nearly 2 hours just to get a main and dessert. Had minute steak for main which was good however dessert was awful. Took at least 30 mins to arrive and had to chase it. When it came it was very watery and bland. Told the manager who took £6 off the bill…. Service in generally was very slow, heard the table either side of us also making complaints about it. Wouldn’t return.

We have walked past this restaurant / bar so many times when we've been to Eastbourne I've lost count 😞 but today we went in for a breakfast after a friend recommended it . I must say it's been our loss in all this time , the breakfast was fantastic very well presented & perfectly cooked , the sausages were to die for 😜 if you're in Eastbourne at any time " bills " is just before the Devonshire pub in the pedestrian precinct opposite the old Debenhams store , give it a try 👍👍

Gave our drink orders, which we received, and just prior to placing our food order we were only then informed of a list of items on the menu that weren't available. Had we been told this prior to taking our seats, we wouldn't have sat down. Needless to say, we left immediately after being told about the large number of items not available. I would have scored this a zero if that was an option. Ridiculous.

I've reviewed my review and despite the good location in centre of Eastbourne, I do not appreciate additional service charges on a simple order. It just feels a bit awkward. After all, it was only served to the table, not delivered to my home address.

The service was shameful. The pancakesdry and when asked for more syrup was made to feel like it was a chore and why would we ask!

Love the food and good portion sizes. Staff are friendly. Only grumble is that it feels a bit pricey but I guess everything is these days!

Very good food catering for vegan and gluten free. Burgers all round with some nice vegan and gf beer as well. Good gluten free dessert as well. Recommended.

Although very busy we were seat promptly and served bubbly atmosphere of all age groups..food types to suit all pallets .... I have not yet been to a bad Bill's!

Bill's is a good option for a meal in central Eastbourne, all the way from brunch to dinner. Lovely interior, we had a good dinner here, and would come again. Helpful and efficient service, and a menu that everyone should find something on.

Upon visiting the establishment, I opted for the triple pancake accompanied by eggs and maple syrup, a selection not featured on their online menu but present in the offerings of their Eastbourne location, which I found noteworthy. However, I observed that the pancake exhibited a dry texture despite the addition of maple syrup, suggesting a possible inadequacy in the syrup portion. Typically, establishments I frequent are more generous with their maple syrup portions and often provide it separately, affording patrons the opportunity to personalize their serving to taste. My dining companion selected The Garden Plate, which she found to be satisfactory in taste. Both of us indulged in the Golden Latte, which boasted an appealing presentation. Regrettably, the presence of turmeric was rather pronounced, exceeding even the preferences of someone accustomed to Indian cuisine. In my estimation, the turmeric overpowered the drink, detracting from its overall enjoyment. Can certainly make a flavourful one at home.

Orange juice was 90% Ice Food was fine but nothing special. We decided to go to Bill's as we have Blue lite discount of 20%. As we tried to pay we was told that the system was faulty and that we would have to pay without the use of our discount( we checked that we was able to get the 20% dicount before we sat down). In the meantime staff just left us not knowing if they were looking to resolve the problem. 10 minutes later staff offered to remove the service charge but this was a very poor experience and in the end the two breakfast and tea and orange came to nearly £40. Won't be recommending anyone visits any Bill's restaurants.

Good service, loved the vegetarian shawarma dish i had. Also, had the golden latte for the first time. Recommend to try at least once if u are a fan of turmeric.

Food was good as are with most Bills restaurants. Service was ‘okay’ not bad but not exceptional, tis could be due to busyness but got ignored a few time as staff where busy talking amongst themselves. Atmosphere was a little chaotic as it was busy. Over all score 4 stars

A nice restaurant with a good atmosphere and decor. The staff were very friendly and the food was great. I prefer this Bill's to the one in Lewes as it's roomier and the tables are not so tightly packed together.

We love bills! We attended for a girly Christmas meal and really enjoyed it. Great veggie options. Really swift service and lovely friendly staff. Food was excellent. Side note: the hot sauce comes out of the bottle really fast, be warned.

Was disappointed with bills eastbourne. A group chose the Christmas menu, but the table wasn't decorated for Christmas. It was very underwhelming. I find it very expensive at bills who charge a 12.5% service charge. I opted out of this as it was added at a whopping £52! We did leave a tip but that's ridiculous. Service was average. I wont be returning.

Whilst the service was good, I don't feel adding a service charge automatically is acceptable especially when its over 12%! I always leave a tip for good service.

5/5 for bills Eastbourne! The service was incredible. The wait staff super helpful, friendly, professional and smashed it out the park! We were attending a Christmas meal and not one complaint to give on a busy evening!

Oh my goodness...breakfast is huge! And very delicious..gluten free toast too. I'm afraid it beat me, but my husband polished his husband off!

Called in on the spur of the moment. Jess came to greet us with a warm friendly smile. She gave us a choice of where to sit. As we only wanted a light lunch we chose the sour dough garlic bread, olives and the large calamari. It was a good choice for us. Jess came over to make sure everything was ok. It was nice to have a waitress who was pleasant, helpful and cheerful.

I have always found Bill's to be very consistently good with their food. I've eaten in quite a few around the country and often choose to go there as I know I won't be disappointed!!

Amazing food. We were a group with our dogs who were all accommodated. The service was 10 out of 10. The staff were really friendly and food delicious.

When we arrived the staff were friendly but then when we asked to move tables they seemed a bit annoyed. The food was tasty but was slightly cold. The atmosphere was quirky and everything was clean

Came here for a meal with my family to celebrate my mum's birthday and we loved it. All 5 of us had nothing but smiles and appreciation. Food was excellent and was the right amount. Started our farewell tradition to our Holibobs by coming into Bills. Ever since we started coming here in 2022 everyone had been professional, Friendly & welcoming; especially on our 2023 visit Jess made it that special by accommodating everyone needs and dietary requirements

Came for lunch on Sunday, we've never been to a Bills restaurant before but I highly recommend! Our server, Cain, greeted us with a lovely smile and was very attentive throughout our visit. The food was amazing too! i had the bills big brunch which was massive and very yummy! Will definitely be coming back during our next visit!

Firstly we really enjoyed the restaurant vibe and decor. The resturant is well located and close to the beach front. Further more we had a friendly greating from the staff and the food was really fantastic. Great portion sizes and reasonably priced. Definitely recommend!

Good food and amazing service, food is good but it is expensive and not a cheap meal out, if you have small kids who don’t eat much wouldn’t recommend due to cost

This is a great place to eat for lunch and the food is do good we had lunch and it was incredible alot of flavour nothing was pland and the staff are so friendly.

Best pancakes in town. Fluffy, thick and filling. True American style buttermilk pancakes. With fruit, maple syrup. They also do bottomless pancakes on weekdays which I can imagine would be a challenge but a fantastic price. Simple but an absolute winner. Served by the manager...

We went here before going to see Giles Brandreth and it was exquisite, we didn’t expect a lot from this chain restaurant. But Tim our server was great and made our visit with recommendations especially for dessert the brownie was lovely!

What a surprise finding Bill’s a short walk from the station! A very vibrant and flora restaurant featuring delicious shawarma brunch to fuel our seaside walk. The smoothies were thick and fruity, the Ice to bevo ratio was astute, and the service was friendly and diligent. Only lost a star bc the gf bun was flimsy BUT I’ve been hard pressed to find decent buns. Go here!!

As a chain restaurant, you can't go wrong with a Bill's. I ordered the Chicken Two Ways and my partner ordered the Seafood linguine. Both dishes were hot and presented well. My chicken dish just felt a little bit confused... The fried chicken part of the dish felt more like a starter that had been added to the main. I think some hot vegetables would have been a better fit. However, I was left satisfied, and the rest of the dish was really tasty. My partner also enjoyed his linguine (it had plenty of seafood in it, we were both very impressed). We ordered a beer and a gin and tonic along with our food which were nice, and the service was friendly and quick.

Had a lovely dinner this evening, staff attending to us were kind and helpful, Rory especially was happy to assist with any request and made us feel welcome.

I came in for a lunch with my partner and it was perfect. Laura my waitress, was fanatic. Very attentive and polite. I have a severe nut allergy and she talked me over the menu and made me feel at ease and that I was safe eating the food. Very quick service and food was amazing. Would highly recommend to friends & family.

We took the kids to Bills in Eastbourne in the school holidays and were blown away with how good the food was & the service was fantastic. Our Waitress, Laura, was so smiley, cheery & helpful. We’ll definitely be returning xx

We tried here whilst around for the Airshow after my wife recommended it. It was early evening so not much of an atmosphere, staff were good but the food let it down for me. I had a the brisket burger which tasted like it had been cooked from frozen with no flavour whatsoever and the fries were so dry, my wife had a cajun chicken dish and liked that. Restaurant had a weird smell like unclean but did appear clean. Quite an expensive bill with the service charge and left feeling disappointed, not sure if I'll try another branch.

Staff were wonderful, friendly and incredibly attentive to the large inquisitive dog we had with us. The food was served promptly, reasonably priced and delicious. For once in a restaurant, the dirty vegan burger looked almost identical to the others and was the best I've had in a while. They also happily catered to my request to avoid an ingredient. We were more than happy to pay the additional service charge which had been been added to the bill, was clearly stated on the well worn menus and the receipt, and also by the waitress as we prepared to pay.

Nice restaurant, food very good but very pricey. I didn't scrutinise the bill as we were treating our friend, I gave a decent tip then realised a service charge was already on the bill.. I won't return.
