Wimpy in Swale

I have just had a bender in a bun delivered by Ubereats. The bun was stale and hard. The sausage was cold and dry. I only had half a packet of chips. This cost 8.90 and when I rang the manageress told me to get ref und from Uber. She never knew who she worked for and there was no customer service. I order from there a lot but never again. Stay away

Ate outside,got served the drinks but the did not but the rest of the order soh ad to but waiting to. o long and re-order the food.

Went to the local wimpy with my partner,Daughter and my severely autistic brother on arrival we was reminded to use sanitizer. Then we was shown to our table and a menu given, they allowed enough time to establish what we was going to eat and drink. Drinks came straight out followed by our meal 5 mins after and it was so so good I love a wimpy burger. My brother was a very slow eater so I paid for our meal straight away as the littlest gets restless so we popped to some shops whilst my partner sat with my brother while he ate. There was no rush and our waiter was very attentive ensured we had got all we needed. So thanks for a stress free lunch time.

Have visited the Wimpy several times, and whilst the food is always good, the order is not always correct.

This is the first time we have visited the Wimpy for lunch, and probably the last. Nothing wrong with the food. They even have 2 vegetarian options. But, nothing other than cows’ milk, so couldn’t order a tea - everywhere has soya these days! The waitress really couldn’t be bothered, spend most of her time chatting to her friends and chewing gum with her mouth open. Not very pleasant. They forgot to bring knives and forks, when we asked for them the chef brought them but rather begrudgingly. He went back to his kitchen to throw some more chips on the floor. I didn’t even bother to remind them that they had forgotten to bring my water. Needless to say, we did not leave a tip. Perhaps some staff training would be a good option. It was very quiet in there for a Saturday lunch time. I wonder why?

Noticed this restaurant before but never went it.Off the cuff we decided to pop in for some lunch with my sister.Greeted at the restaurant door was told we can sit where we liked, venue was very long and have booths and normal chair seating.We sat towards the back in a booth.Restaurant was very clean, and staff were pleasant.Great choice in food on the menu including some old classics that I recall as a child. We had burger and milkshake and both meals were good. Would go back

As my local Wimpy closed down some years back this was a blast from the past!We had the classic burger and fries followed by a brown derby... delicious :0) Good food, good company .good serviceThe manager (young lady who had just finished Uni) who served us was polite and helpful. will come back here again on our return to Sittingbourne.No complaints whatsoever.

Normally it’s a very lovely place and nice food but this time I went in with a family of 6, two toddlers and a baby, the table and high chair was disgusting had to ask the. To clean it before we could sit down, the food took ages to come out and it come out In bits basically finished my dinner before my side came out! My burger was over cooked it was hard and every mouthful I had to coat it in burger sauce to take away the burnt taste! Had to ask three times for my side to come out and they came out just as we was going to leave. Needs a lot of improvement onlyOne waitress in the whole shop was trying her hardest to get everything sorted and she wasn’t even meant to be dealing with our table..

On way out decided to try wimpy again great menu milkshake good and filling quick service place was clean.

Service was poor, and the waitress struggled to understand us. My wife asked for no sauce etc and just a plain meal but come fully loaded against our request.My burger was really over cooked and dry which for a burger is mega disappointing. When we paid the server asked if everything was OK? I explained that my wife's order was wrong and they looked at me blankly without so much as an apology.A real shame as we all had fond memories of Wimpy but this one disappointed massively.Such a shame, hopefully

Food is amazing and the staff are all so lovely the burgers tasted great and the coffee I hadn’t was just 👌🏼 as well as working and making sure customers are satisfied all in all a great experience

You've got to love a Wimpy! Brings back childhood memories. Food is fresh and tasty, just don't expect to pay Mc DOnald's prices - this is a restuarant, so expect restaurant prices!

Wnt here when it opened and did not tbink it was very good. Problems were loads of young staff that do not want to do anything but chat. The food was very average and not worth the cost

I was pleased to see wimpy return to the town as I used to like it. Sadly not any more. I think the restaurant is decorated nicely, everything was clean. The staff were good and the food arrived quickly. My problem was with burger. I ordered a quarter pounder with cheese. Nothing wrong with the way it was cooked. I just found it dry and tasteless. I think burgers have come a long way over the last 30 years, but wimpy are still stuck in the 80s I don't think the menu has changed a great deal over the years and unfortunately neither have the style of burger on offer.

Visited and ordered 2 fish finger sandwiches. One had 3 fish fingers inside and the middle one was completely frozen!

I took my family here on a lunch time whilst getting some bits in town, we were seated at the back and that was the start of a long afternoon, we were constantly apologised to due to the wait for everything which included someone actually taking our order.

What makes Wimpy so different from other fast food chain restaurants is the lack of generic taste and character and this wimpy doesn't disappoint!

Have visited twice now. First time everything was great, service, cleanliness etc apart from my quarter pounder was extremely over cooked. I just put it down to the fact it was a new restaurant, new chefs etc.

Had a visit in Dec and loved it staff friendly and helpful. Food was lovely and tasty. Clean and fresh decor just what we needed in town.

We were quite excited to see a Wimpy had opened up in the High Street... maybe it was fond memories from when I was kid but we had to try it out.
