Wimpy in Rushmoor

The food was ok, bacon was lovely. When I paid they gave me a Christmas card and a chocolate!!!! Excellent customer service, quite literally the best I have ever seen in my life. Go here if you want comfort food and the best service in Britain

Friendly and polite waiting staff but unfortunately the food is awful and pretty expensive for what it is ! First and last time trying wimpy , even my son commented on how horrible is food was.

Me and my Nan went out to lunch at Wimpy in Farnborough. When we arrived, we were greeted well, and we took our seats. Our order was taken and within five minutes, the food and drinks arrived. I’d recommend the simply griddled chicken burger, it’s the best burger I’ve ever had!!! Not an understatement. The pudding was great too. I’d recommend to anybody needing lunch in Farnborough. Also, as a sidenote: as a member of the autistic community, Wimpy had a comfortable and pleasant atmosphere. I didn’t feel stressed at all.

Excellent food, and fantastic service. Popped in late Sunday afternoon, greeted immediately with a smile. Fantastic food, fantastic service.

First time using this wimpy bar , staff were very rude. I ask for a take away kids meal for my son & they questioned who it was for. Then tried to say it didn’t come with a pudding when it clearly stated it did on their take away menu. Paying £5.20 for a kids meal you expect more than just a burger & chips !! Definitely won’t be visiting there again. 🤬

A very quiet restaurant for a Saturday night and for the laugh we got it's worth 3 stars. Food wasn't all that but the waiter was hilariously bad. He would wander off half way through things and mumble.

Always clean and tidy, food is always freshly cooked and absolutely lovely, staff seem happy and approachable. New waitress Chloe is lovely, approachable and happy to help.....will definitely be returning.

We visited when we passed by and saw the Wimpy name however I would recommend you avoid. The food was substandard even for fast food with only the sweat potatoes fries getting pass makes. The toilets were disgusting and the meal vastly overpriced.

No masks worn by any of the kitchen staff only customer side. The quality of the food was ok and it was organised and the food came out quickly but where they had sanitiser out for customers the no mask wearing disturbed me: this cannot be right

Came here today after the Farnborough half marathon. We took our son here and he loved it, our local wimpys have now closed so we last had a wimpy about 15 yrs ago. Still tastes as good as we remember. Staff were very friendly and quick

After a parking misunderstanding at the rear of the premises my wife and I were approached by two members of staff and was told I was going to get stabbed one of the men went to get a knife, at which point I left.

Visited Farnborough for a day trip. Thought I would give wimpys a try for the first time in 40 odd years. Had the all day breakfast was surprised to get chips but that was my fault for not asking what you got.But I really enjoyed it so not complaining. Staff were very friendly if I'm in Farnborough again I will definitely be back.

I can just about remember the days before the usual suspects of McDonalds, Burger King and the like came along, with Wimpy the only kid on the block as far as a fast food chain. This branch is at the end of Queensmead Parade and not obvious unless you’re coming from the main bus stop and car park area. Interior is quite small but there are pavement tables for when weather turns warmer. It’s table service here (unlike at Aldershot branch) and service was quick and efficient. Jacket potato was large and filling but my wife didn’t think much of the ice cream on her dessert. Having also visited nearby Aldershot branch, seating and ambience is better there. However, I always enjoy a nostalgic trip to Wimpy in memory of the “good old days”!

Took me back to find this WIMPEY, Nice plesant atmopher, staff are happy polite and well presented, The meal was hot and plentafull, Made a nice change to have a Lunch that I enjoyed along with my wide, we will certainly return here in the very near future, clean and bright with attentive staff.

Stopped for a bite to eat whilst shopping. A bit pricey compared to the likes of burger king and McDonald's. But the food is cooked fresh. Good food. Service can be a little slow but friendly. This establishment does offer both table service and takeaway.

TERRIBLE Very disappointing vist, we visited as a family on Sunday as a treat, the service was fine,but the food was terrible, the cheese burgers were disgusting, the bun was stale,the spring water I ordered was from the tap, when we then went up to pay we were over charged, when I asked for the reicept it had food on I didn’t even order, the guy then gave me some money back begrudgingly.i would definitely not return ever,and this is a shame as we use to like wimpy .

Clean, quick polite service with what you'd expect from a Wimpy food wise. Cheap and cheerful and brings back childhood memories!!

After a night out at a family celebration we headed into town the next morning looking for a good breakfast. We were going to a cafe but spotted wimpy and that was that had to be a WIMPY. Took me back to my childhood. We wasn’t disappointed. It wasn’t busy when we arrived only 3-4 tables but by the time we left there were more tables filled. The service was great staff friendly and our food arrived quick. Couldn’t fault the breakfast plenty of it to.

This is my favorite place to get a milkshake they do great milkshakes and I have always been coming here for years 👍

I have been a regular visitor to wimpy for around 10 years. And I have been in the hospitality/service industry for about the same amount of time. I don’t expect 5* service but I do expect staff to be polite and professional as always has been until recently. I always order the same food (lemon pepper quorn burger) it is always very nice. Sadly in the last few weeks I have been encountering the young female waitresses. They all tend to be rude, unprofessional and quick to walk away from you whilst speaking to them. On this visit in particular i could hear the girls talking about how a customer who had just left smelt disgusting. They girls spoke in this way on most topics. One girl and a young man were very close and rubbing and touching each other. This is not what I expected from my visit. They kept on looking at customers, whispering to each other and giggling. Very disappointed!

Service is impeccable, so that's an immediate 1-0 lead over the local Burger King and McDonalds. Food is freshly made (2-0) and very tasty (3-0). Your order is taken at the table and you are offered actual cutlery, made of metal. So I make that 5-0 so far. OK, it takes a bit longer for the food to arrive, but really not that long, and it costs a bit more money, but not much more. Youngest offspring, more usually a fan of Mackie Ds, remarked unprompted on both the high quality and generous portion of the chips.

One mark for the waitress who was very professional, especially while taking a lot of grief from another customer, who was Making an unnecessary scene, though I agreed with him about the food being rubbish...because it was! Complete rubbish, vile greasy, only just about cooked, burger. So greasy the bottom of my bun was soggy. Hardly a thing in it. It just taste and smelt like old fat. I took about 3 bites,then gave the rest to my partner, who ate it just so we didn't waste our money. Our son had chicken nuggets, he seemed to like them. Chocolate milkshake, that taste like strong coffee! Disgusting. but again my son enjoyed it. You wouldn't get me in there again if it was the last place on earth. Felt quite sick when we left. Well over prices garbage that I wouldn't feed to a starving dog.

The service was good but the food was distinctly average. Everything seems to be cooked from frozen and the pork round was way overcooked. The price is very high for the standard. To top it all, the card machine was out of order meaning a trip in the cold to the cash point. It's ok for a coffee and a sit down but I'd recommend eating a meal elsewhere.

fantastic lemon peppercorn burger, its a bit pricey for what it is but the food is always good! good for fast food

Wimpy used to be on the upper end of the burger market. Table service, special sauce and good burgers were their differentiators but now the format is tired, so tired!

Food was of a good standard, nice range on the menu, clean and good service. Ideal stop off on a shopping trip

No tengo ninguna queja sobre el servicio. El joven camarero fue lo suficientemente amable y eficiente. Comida llegó rápidamente. La razón por la 2 1 / 2 estrellas es porque la comida no era buena. No es horrible, pero no es bueno. Las patatas fritas (papas fritas) eran de la variedad y así fueron congelados el camino anillos caro de cebolla. Estoy bastante seguro de que todo lo que cocine llega en bolsas de congelados, y es frito o superficial. Pagué demasiado por debajo del promedio de comida y hubiera tenido una comida mucho mejor en el McDonald's. No volveré.

Very good value and efficient service with a smile always freshly cooked and never to long to wait for food

Debo decir que comimos aquí en dos ocasiones cuando visite Farnborough. Era mucho mejor que KFC. No hamburguesas que eran una especie de abundante! También había unos "perritos calientes", que en forma no había visto en ningún otro sitio!

Wimpy is one of the only places to sell a veggie quarn burger! It's literally out of this world.. I'm sure other veggies will appreciate this 'inside' info!!!

My husband & I were shopping in Farnborough when we spotted The Wimpy Bar & we both said we didn't think they existed anymore! We had to go in of course & we had good basic but tasty & wel presented food. The staff were very warm & friendly & the place is spotlessly clean too. Nothing out of this world but the best of similar restaurants.

As there are not many eating places in the farnborough town center This place is usally busy with shoppers who come into town.Menu is the usual all day breakfast type and pretty average.

Wimpy does fast food on a plate. Place your order and within five minutes it will be on your table. The staff are friendly and food is of a good quality. Great for when you are on the move and just want to stop by for a quick pit stop.

This is a much better alternative to McD's and BK. The staff are consistently friendly. The food is cooked fresh and offers a good variety.It also offers good value for money. I considered this a treat as a child and it still is.

Wimpy has always provided best burgers, this is one of our local eating out place. Good food , good value for money and perfect service. Staff are friendly and know what you ask for and breafast is delicacy here. Absolute fine taste on burgers and on that note 5stars to the wimpy special sauce, just love it..

It's a proper Wimpy, quick food, cooked to order, prompt friendly service, pop in and give the other fast food joints a rest.

A popular choice in our household and a great alternative to BK or MacDonalds for a similar price. Great burgers and the chips are fantastic - lovely and hot. We chose Wimpy mainly for the choice - I wanted an alternative to burgers and chips for myself whilst not depriving the kids of their treat (holiday and beaches coming up - eek!). They did me a really nice chicken salad. The only reason that I didn't give them 5 stars was that they were out of salad dressing, except for salad cream.

Wimpy I'll be honest isn't always our first choice. I normally don't mind thou as they have the frankfurter sausages I like. I do usually have a lunch menu item if we go for breakfast mainly because I dont like the bacon and the egg whites are always runny. I will commend their burgers thou and their chips. Two things that are fantastic are the size of the coke (its huge, more than a pint) for a good price and their deserts are always tasty. We also have tried their take away in the past and these visits have never been slow for food. On a last note they can get expensive and everyone is different in food quality and price.

sorry service was rubbish...food was cold, over cooked. coffee was instant and was cold...when i complained was told then dont eat here!!!
