We visited as a group of 13 and had a great experience. Tom helped us get a table at shortish notice which was really appreciated. The service was excellent (thanks especially to Lucy) and the food was delicious. All tasty, hot and all served together. I’d definitely recommend and will visit again next time in the area.

We recently celebrated our son’s 18th birthday at The Swan, and we couldn’t have asked for a better experience. The food was absolutely excellent—fresh, well-prepared, and full of flavor. What really stood out, though, was the outstanding service. The staff were friendly, attentive, and went above and beyond to make the afternoon special. From start to finish, everything was perfect, and we’re so grateful for the effort that went into making it such a memorable afternoon . We’ll definitely be returning soon—highly recommended! ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

Just visited again February 2025. Still a stunning roast dinner. Visited for Sunday roast. September 2023. Warm friendly efficient service. Lovely dining area. Unfortunately, there was an over excited child with a banshee like scream on a nearby table. It's shriek literally rattled ones spine. So we opted to relocate to the public area to eat. The staff were sympathetic and assisted our move. What a great roast dinner. We all opted for roast beef(£17 at time of writing). Sat atop the perfectly cooked topside, was a big, tasty, Yorkshire pudding. Vegetables were well presented and Al dente. Crispy roast potatoes with nice and fluffy inside. Parsnips, I personally like a bit more crispy but they were ok. I usually hate discretionary service when added to the bill but the service was really good and I tipped more. Make sure you add your registration details to the terminal upon entering.

Very friendly staff, we booked a igloo experience and the food was nice and hot. Staff were put often to clear stuff away and take orders. Igloo was heated well with plenty of blankets and cushions which was ideal for January. Drinks selection was very good, lots of beers on tap and a varied choice of Gin. Winter theme was quite cool, with ski equipment and a makeshift snowscape on display. Wonder if the theme will be changing when spring or summer set it. Very different to other pubs in the area. Update: We came back for Sunday lunch and I don't know why we don't come back more often. The food is amazing, the staff are great and it's very reasonable for the quality. I wish I'd taken some photos but the food looked too good. I highly recommend the roast pork and sticky toffee pudding. I saw someone get the burger and it looked incredible, smash burgers show they know what they're doing.

This is a fantastic pub with amazing staff, nothing is too much trouble. We took over the pub for a 50th Birthday party and the Swan made sure we had a superb evening. Staff were plentiful, attentive and fun and the buffet was outstanding. Everyone loved the venue, its a really great pub with a great layout to party. Thank you to The Swan!!

My friend and I met for lunch here on Saturday. We'd never been there before and purely chose it based on the reviews. We weren't disappointed. Tom was a lovely host; attentive and warm. The food was excellent too. We had the black pudding and pork sausage roll, and baked camembert for starters, and the burger and chicken parmigiana for mains. We were hungry so I forgot to take pics of the mains! We would definitely return based on the service and food.

Another great experience at the swan farnborough. Wonderful food ambience and the staff from management to waitress were first class and made our christmas 4 course meal special. Thanks again all @TheSwan.

We spent an unforgettable evening at the Swan, in their outdoor Igloo. It was nice, cosy and warm, the service was great, the food was a good portion and tasty. It was a really unique experience.

Recently booked the fire pit experience, and will definitely be repeating. Excellent value - the chicken and halloumi skewers provided are enormous (much bigger than whatever you'll be expecting!) and easily fed seven of us, although we were greedy and also ordered the pigs in blankets (again, huge - a dozen full size sausages) and s'mores. The fire is lit for you, all the safety kit provided (heavy duty apron, gloves, utensils) and the food is pre-steamed so you can't undercook anything. It was a bitterly cold night but the heat from the fire and the blankets provided meant everybody was comfortable so we stayed long after the food had been eaten, burning all the extra logs provided for the fire. Staff were uniformly excellent in providing service and assistance if needed. Can't recommend highly enough if you're looking for something a bit different for drinks/food out in Farnborough.

Awful experience Awful experience! Ruined Wife's Birthday celebrations. Broken door in igloo, cold and wet. Unhelpful staff, poor service and overall terrible experience. Then to top it off the after care experience was even worse. 1110% would not recommend and my custom is definitely lost. If I could do less stars than 1 I certainly would - AWFUL

It is a good local pub but do NOT drive there and use the car park. I was there less than an hour. Parked correctly and entered my car's registration number at the counter. But still got a £60 fine. The manager told me later that the screen on the bar sometimes went wrong !!

Popped in before a meal elsewhere not realising they had a live band playing.. Brute choir who were out of this world, so much so that we had our meal and went straight back. Amazing happy atmosphere, everyone dancing and singing 5* night. Although the bar was busy we didn't have to wait long for drinks so credit to the staff on the night. We will be back.

Visited recently on a Thursday and took advantage of their 2 burgers for £20. The burgers were delicious and such good value. The staff were so friendly and chatty. I will definitely be coming back.

Really quiet for Sunday Lunch in the bar, the waiting staff were friendly but quite inattentive - lots of trips to the bar to get knifes, horseradish (they didn’t have it on a Sunday in England 😅) and service. Didn’t get offered a pudding so we left after just the Sunday lunch - which wasn’t bad, not noteworthy though for the money.

Took my disabled mother here for lunch after visiting an exhibition at farnborugh exhibition center. We googled nearest food to us, with disabled access car park, and the swan came up. We went, parked in their car park, enjoyed the beer garden, ate and left within an hour. A week later we recieved a parking penalty charge notice saying we didnt have permission to use their car park. We got in touch, sent a photo of us in their beer garden, with our food, and a photo of my credit card with the transaction on the day we went- and they said all we can do is appeal and hope it works. Its £100 charge if we loose appeal- we have proof we were there- and shouldn't have to be fighting a fee when we were paying customers using their car park. Don't go- not worth the risk! Absolutely ridiculous. Its really upset my mother, as it was her car we used for the day- shes elderly and doesn't understand and now doesn't want to go out again for the day because shes frightened it will happen again she can't afford it. She shouldn't be having to go through this!

Lovely pub with lots of different themed nights to keep you coming back

Was decent, prices for what you got should be reconsidered I would say portion sizes were good but it was the quality of food, it wasn’t the worst I’ve had but to say it was sticky chilli beef and all I could taste was syrup and the halloumi fries were excessively salty did make it difficult for me to even want to finish the meal.

Dog friendly and a lovely pub with a really tasty roast- probably the best roast locally! It's a nice clean pub/restaurant and the staff are all really friendly. The garden area looks amazing too, we didn't go out but had a quick look and it looks like a great place to sit and have a drink if the weather is nice. Free parking if you give your number plate at the bar.

The Ribeye Steak was beautifully cooked! The staff were very polite, friendly and professional at all times. We ate outside as the weather was stunning and the seating area was excellent laid out. It's a must visit

The Swan is the place to be when staying over for exhibitions at Farnborough International Centre. It gets really busy as it’s one of the only pubs in the area. Service has always been really nice and friendly here but the food is mixed. £17 for a Chicken Burger and a small number of fries was disappointing. Will be back for drinks though.

We ordered Sunday roast but were told that we could not order chicken or pork because they did not have enough for people who had booked later in the day. We ordered one beef and one crispy duck salad. The crispy duck was deep fried in batter and starter size. The beef was dry. The pub is at the end of the Farnborough airport runway. We will not be going again.

Typical pub food and environment. No complaints re food but also nothing that stood out as fantastic.

Order a steak medium rare came out rare, No trouble at all for the staff they took it away and replated for me! Great service , very polite would reccomend!

Food was good, had wings and arrancini. Beer selection could be a bit better. Inside is cozy and lots of outdoor space.

Walked form the holiday inn for some food. On arrival pub was busy, my parents found a table in the restaurant. A member of staff asked if e had booked (which we hadn't) so she asked if we would move to another table as those in the restaurant had all been booked. We were happy to do this and were promptly shown to another table. She came over and took our order, all the food was delicious when it arrived. we paid and asked if she could book us a taxi back to the hotel. the parents didn't fancy a long walk back, she did this for us and the taxi arrived in approx 15 mins. Lovely wee pub with lovely food 👍

We've had enjoyable meals here previously with family and friends. However, this time was not as enjoyable. I ordered what was described as a pot pie with a pastry top accompanied by bubble and squeak. When it arrived at the table, the so-called pie was in a shaped rounded dish and barely covered a third of the length and was less than half of the height of the dish. The pastry top didn't even cover the top of the bowl. The bubble and squeak turned out to be a small dish of crushed potatoes. Not what was expected from the menu description. This put us off ordering dessert. The staff were very understanding and offered a discount off the final bill.

For the location and the area, it's probably the best you can find. The place is decent and clean. The food was good and the beers too. Excellent service by the staff.

I am a regular customer for years for a meal I went there last Saturday with a family . to my big disappointment that food wasn’t that great also other members thought the same .. I would go for drinks only. I always like this style of pub .. hope food would be better 😊

Excellent service from start to finish. We discussed menu options for a huge group, to everyone’s happiness. On the day the table was arranged perfectly. The food was very good, delicious and served out in close time so everyone got their plates at the same time. The service from Marcus, Amber and the staff was responsive, quick, super friendly and fun. Definitely coming back with our tour next year. Thank you !!

Great spot and amazing outdoor space

I phoned to see if there was a table available and the staff couldn't have been more accommodating, so friendly. We were greeted with a warm welcome. The food was super tasty. Although we didn't go into the garden area , it looked lovely. I would highly recommend the swan.

Top stars for bar manager (Young gent), price for drinks were affordable, food was slightly over priced, but the beer garden was a nice environment, in the sun, with the canal along the side of the garden, it’s a nice place to bring a family or friends. Mistake was made with my order, but it was swiftly sorted out by another server (table staff)

Came here on 13th April and was given a parking ticket in their car park even though I was a paying customer and entered my reg at the till. Can't say I'll be coming back as it isn't worth the hassle.

The service was incredible as per usual from all the staff, especially George. The burgers served here are also very which I highly recommend.

First time trying The Swan and we were very impressed. We went on a Thursday where they have a 2 for £20 on burgers which I thought was a good deal. We ordered 2 starters and the portions are worth the price! We ordered our burgers and they took around 10-15 minutes to come. My burger was missing 2 toppings that I had asked for, so I mentioned this to the waitress and she was very apologetic and took the food back to the kitchen. At first I thought they were just going to put the toppings on, so I was waiting a while....but she came back out to say they were cooking a new burger for me. By the time the burger came, the rest of my table had finished eating but it is what it is. They kept apologising for the delay and said that for the inconvenience, they were giving me the burger for free. When the bill came, they took off a burger, 2 coke zeros and gave us their employee discount of 25%. They done all this without us even asking or us even moaning. This just shows they really care about their customers. The food is worth the price and the staff are lovely. Will definitely be going back again :)

Lovely pub! We were on a relaxing minibreak for my partner's birthday and decided to pop in for a birthday Sunday roast. Nice, relaxed atmosphere and decor. Marcus was our server and he was great! Personable and the perfect amount of attentive. He also recommended a tasty ale that I'd not had before. Roasts were tasty (topside for me and porcetta for my partner), potatoes were delish but my wife especially enjoyed the sauteed mixed greens. Minor drawbacks were that they'd run out of vanilla ice cream for desserts and there was a long lull in waiting for the bill (I think poor Marcus was on meal break and the young lady was swamped). All in all a really good experience and wouldn't hesitate to return or recommend to others if you find yourself in Farnborough.

The staff were fantastic and look after me like no other. It was a different experience than anything else. The girls did a fantastic job and Geroge made sure everything was okay with everything I got. They all did amazing.

Easter Sunday roast lunch. Had a fantastic lunch. Roast beef and roast pork was lovely and tasty. Cheese cake dessert was amazing. Katie fields was our server she was very attentive and polite. Kept checking in on us to see if anything else was needed. The drinks kept flowing 🤣. We will definitely return. Lovely clean pub including the toilets could not fault. Thank you to all the team for a memorable afternoon.

Lovely place, great staff and excellent food. Very helpful and made sure our two year old grandson received his food first. Good menu choices (husband and daughter can't stop raving about the beef starter..)..definitely be going back and looking forward to using the garden in the better weather so grandchildren can see the planes.

The staff here are very good. I have visited here once before about a year ago and all was very good. The food is the reason for the low score. The steak and mushroom pot pie was good, but served with about 12 frozen chips and nothing else was more than disappointing. £18 was way to expensive for a small plate of food. I agree the quality of the pie was good but way overpriced for the portion size. A few vegetables would have made all the difference. It’s a shame

Great food great service. The staff at the swan make this a great pub to visit, nothing is too much trouble and they are so great with the kids. If you haven’t been for one of their roasts, highly recommended and you can chill and play a board game after.

We cannot recommend The Swan enough to our friends and families. We have now visited on a number of occasions and have thoroughly enjoyed our experience. The food has been delicious and the menu is brilliant for all. The staff have been incredible and well attentive. The manager has always been warm and welcoming as well as the assistant manager! The front of house team work hard to ensure that your time with them is enjoyable and nothing is too much trouble. The management team should be proud of the pub they are providing the area ! We would however like to see some more themed nights available in the future! But overall 10-10 each visit. ! Thank you all!

Food was served quick and tasted absolutely amazing and delicious. Prices were decent! Such a cosy and Christmassy atmosphere. Loved every second of it and will definitely be coming back again! Great pub with views over the airport

The beer can be great, but has tasted of vinegar on several visits. Today's wasn't bad, but not worthy of a second pint, so I ordered a half. I was shocked to find they ramp the price up from £5 per pint, to £3,25 for a half!

We had our company Christmas dinner at the Swan. The food was great and we were looked after very well by George and his staff. I always enjoy going to The Swan particularly for the food and this time was no exception.

Had a great family meal here. The staff were great and coped really well with the dog and the children, plus the adults of course. Service was excellent, food was great and loved the music which was too intrusive, but we knew it was there....

First visit to the Swan over the Winter period to experience the Apres Ski ambience at Farnborough's real Winter Wonderland as the pub is transformed with delightful themeing and warming igloos to dine in and celebrate the festive season. Friendly courteous service, great food and a superb choice of beverages in the comfort of a cosy heated igloo, what could be more Christmassy 🎅

This pub appears to be good for drinking, has a nice decor and with friendly but somewhat slow service. The food quality is below average.

Great time at the Swan, on a very busy evening! Food and drink were very good and atmosphere in the pub was great. Staff were very attentive (as always), making this one of the best social venues in the area.

Starter was delicious. Turkey was superb, quality and quantity, Yorkshires were superb, but then came one carrot, one parsnip and very hard kale along with frozen roast potatoes!. What a disappointment!. Coffee was like dishwater. Very disappointed.

I had never been to this pub before today, we put our faith that this would be a great venue for a christening after party. We had about 25 people 5 children and I can honestly say the food and service was amazing! The staff as so attentive and welcoming 👏👏👏 5 stars all round.

Really good Sunday roast- lots of veg, really decent roast potatoes etc. Good service. Nice setting. Pudding was okay. Crème brûlée and was not burnt on top, hence 4 stars and not five.

This pub never let's you down. A brilliant place for all occasions, a really classy menu, great events, contemporary decor and big beer garden. Highly recommend the igloos, you get a speaker, a buzzer, heating and a bottle of prosecco. You're guaranteed a good night.
