Well bit disappointed. Poor selection and sandwich is quite poor. Surprised that the outlet standard was poor

It's small, a couple of tables outside if the weather is ok. Does decent coffee and a sandwich that you can take on the train. I noticed last week that it's up for sale so might not be doing that well.

Great coffee and a tremendous breakfast menu served from 6.30am which is impressive. The staff are charming and drive from Middleton every day to look after travellers from Wilmslow. Job well done!

I was tempted to buy a breakfast bacon barm by the smell wafting around the station. It was ok but the taste definitely didn't live up to expectations and it was only lukewarm. Service was quick

We came for our breakfast and as expected we both enjoyed it. Wetherspoons food is always good which is why we keep using them. We both had different breakfasts but both loved them as usual. It's a pleasure to have it made for you. Well done guys, we will be back I'm sure.

The Sunday carvery is great deal for the price if you go other pubs you are paying a lot of money for less. Cheap for a family to go. And have money left be going every Sunday from now on

Charles is amazing, such a gent. Gave great advice to us as we had no clue where to start with our planters. Also, helped take our purchases to the car. I can’t give enough praise for this place.

Parked in what we thought was the free pub car park, received a parking fine for £100 one week later. We arrived when it was pitch black and due to COVID restrictions couldn't leave our table once we were seated. Hence, we didn't have a clue we had to pay to park. The staff didn't mention it to us at any point. Strange considering how many terrible reviews they're getting for the exact same reason? Why oh why.

With all the ambience of a canteen on a cross channel ferry, with so much noise, this is not a pleasant experience. I put shoes on for dinner, but that made me overdressed. Should have put some old trainers on. I live and learn. Add in that the food is really quite pricey for what it is, and it would definitely not be the place I would ever choose to eat. But I am staying in the hotel, and have an early start tomorrow. The hotel is very nice, and I will review separately, but it deserves a PROPER restaurant given the heritage of the place. Main course only for me, as work wont expense a £12 starter on top of a £6.50 pint without moaning, and I am out of this ludicrously loud and echoing ‘school dinner hall’ feeling place as soon as possible! Wish I had room service and not bothered.
